Once he finished grooming, Insolitus lifted his head and fixed his gaze on the sky. "I thank you, Jagara, mother to us all, for allowing me to see another dawn," he began softly. "You who gives me strength in my times of need, you who has seen a thousand lifetimes, you who breathed life into all that is...you who will one day take it back, to give to the land again. So it always has been. So it always will be, until the end of time." He fell silent, closing his eyes.

Insolitus jumped, wondering why he hadn't heard Renny coming. He looked at the former kittypet and meowed, "I'm greeting the all-mother. It's something the cats I lived with for a time did every day."

"Like our Starclan, but different" grunted Nightclaw as he walked out of the Warrior's Den, the black, spotted warrior sitting down near the two toms, curious...
Wraith had been laying inside the Leader's den, hidden from view by the shadows, eying the newcomers from a distance, noting his son's presence near them. it was nice to see that his son seemed to be getting over his discomfort towards them. looking down at Shadelight, still asleep, he smiled. he went over to her, pressing his nose into her fur, before turning to leave the den, yawning before walking out to head for the lake shore for a drink...

"Maybe so," Insolitus meowed. "Jagara is thought of as the mother of all that is, hence the term all-mother. Cats, birds, even mice - all life came from her, so they say. And she will eventually take that life back, when something is dying, and give it to something else in need of it." He tipped his head to the other side, not sure the younger cat would understand. "Maybe...that doesn't make much sense to cats who didn't grow up knowing of her...or who believe something else."

"Who knows....perhaps" growled Wraith in response to Renny. he decided not to mention that the only reason Renny had been allowed into the Clan's territory after that rather suspicious performance at the border was that StarClan assured him they meant no harm...and even then he had eyes on the two where they least expected it...just in case...

Bloodspill's voice mewed softly in Wraith's ear, "Shadowstar and I are watching too, in case we're wrong and we've made a mistake." The dark she-cat, invisible to all, glanced across the clearing and met the former leader's deep green eyes. Shadowstar, also invisible, was sitting on the branch of a tree, looking down with the serious expression she'd usually worn back when she was ThunderClan's leader.
Insolitus blinked. He wasn't sure if StarClan wanted them here or not - in fact, he wasn't sure he trusted them, even after meeting a few of them.
