"Yes, yes and yes," Hawksight meowed. "In fact," she added in faintly amused tones, "you ran into one of them today - literally."

"Normally I would say you are full of it, but now..." Firestreak trailed off, still staring at the camp before him. "Doesn't change the fact that I'm alone now." he growled somewhat hatefully...

[The Kingpin]

"You know don't have to be" responded Wraith after a couple of seconds. "I can't tell you what to do....but i'd say you'd be better off getting out of a Loner's life. it's not worth dying cold, alone, and friendless" he added...


Nightclaw rolled onto his back, looking up at the light blue sky, listening to the rustling of the trees around him, the occasional chirping of birdsong. such graceful beauty in the world around him more often than not made him wonder how twolegs could bring themselves to destroy them as he was told they did in stories of the past...

"They're all in Stormclan?" Fogcloud growled. "Then Ill be able to face them, not infront of the clan cats, new or old" He hung his head and let out a sigh. "Well its nice knowing they're all ok..." He mewed

Hawksight rested her chin on her son's head, closing her eyes. "I'm sure they've missed you as I have," she mewed softly. She fell silent, thinking about everything that had just happened.

"No...I will face them, infront of all the cats in the clan.." Fogcloud growled softly, to himself. "I wont be a coward about this!" He mewed as he pulled away from his mother. "I have a lot to say to a lot of cats, and I wont let my fear and uncertainty hold me back" He turned around towards the fallen tree, but before he left, he growled "You and Snowstar taught me better" With that, the tom darted off, intending to do what he should have done ages ago...

Hawksight smiled, sitting up to watch him go. "Good luck..." she murmured. "And be careful."

His paws scampered across the fallen timber as the stream water underneath it flowed into the lake. He leapt off the tree bark on the other side, landing on grassy ground. Fogcloud then ran down the straight, passing the half bridge where he saw the she-cat, who was gone now. Making a sharp right, Fogcloud then ran past the twoleg nest, into the forrest...

Demontalon stretched out on her stomach, chin resting on the dirt between her forelegs. She stared across the clearing, enjoying the peace and quiet. Boring or not...when it's peaceful we get a chance to let our guard down for a little while, she thought, her eyes half-closing as the warmth helped her relax.

The plants rustled as the gray tom forced his way through the underbrush, his speed never faltering despite the obstacles. The tom leapt onto a large rock in his way and kicked off, hitting a moss covered log and spring boarding off of that, shooting across the leaf littered ground...

Hawkclaw stared at a clump of ferns without really seeing it. She was thinking about that cat...the tom who looked so much like Fogcloud. What if it wasn't coincidence? she thought. What if it was really him...? But...it couldn't be...Fogcloud disappeared nine moons ago. She frowned, confused at her own thoughts.

Sometime later, the gray tom picked up the scents of several cats in the distance. He was breathing hard and his body hurt. He finally stopped running, walking the rest of the way. He expected a talk with the camp vigils...

Robinflight suddenly pricked his ears and opened his jaws to taste the air. The breeze carried a trace of a strange cat's scent, mixed in with the smell of ferns and leaf litter. He leaped from his perch and padded to the camp entrance, the tip of his tail twitching uncertainly. Poppytail, who was on guard duty, glanced at him with a barely visible nod. her shoulders were tense - she'd smelled it too. All of these cats coming to the camp at once...it made the young deputy a bit uneasy.

Out of the shadows, Fogcloud emerged, eyes glowing once the sunlight hit them. He spied the cats and approached without fear. After all, he was a former clan cat

"Stop right there, stranger," Robinflight meowed, padding forward to meet the tom. "What's your business here?" He kept his tone calm, level, not wanting to seem too hostile but at the same time not wanting to appear too welcoming.

[C S]

"I need to speak with some...friends" Fogcloud mewed. He was anxious and afraid. Moons of anticipation of this moment were finally paying off and at the same time he couldnt help but fear the reaction to his reappearance...

Robinflight tipped his head to one side curiously. "And who might they be?" This cat seemed nervous...why?

[C S]

"Your leader, his kits- anyone from the old Thunderclan." Fogcloud began. "Theres something that Ive been needing to tell them for a while"

"I...see," Robinflight meowed. "Wait here." As he turned, he murmured to Poppytail, "Keep an eye on him." She flicked her tail in acknowledgement and Robinflight headed back into the camp. He paused, looking around for his leaders. He couldn't spot Wraith or that gray cat...the black tom must be with him somewhere. He switched to looking for Snowstar, wondering why the stranger wanted the former ThunderClan cats.

Snowstar turned away from the split tailed cat that had arrived not too long ago, after a short discussion. Slithertail, as he called himself, was recovering well. The white tom began scenting the air... a familiar scent just outside the camp...

Fogcloud murmured to himself "May Starclan walk me through this..."
