Gothmog snarls, getting into a defensive position and attempts to circle to the side of his foe..................

Shredder turned, giving the Giga a sideways, one-eyed look, looking very bird-like. He snapped slightly, before asking, "What's your deal? Calm down, I'm not here for a fight."

Selena shifted a bit, opening one eye. She muttered a string of curses under her breath and shut it almost immediately, not expecting it to be so bright. More than ever she missed the familiar jungle with its thick canopy that prevented the worst of the sunlight from getting through. She lifted her head and gave it a shake, jaws splitting into a yawn as she slowly maneuvered herself into a comfortable crouch. She felt as though she'd barely gotten any sleep - and maybe that was exactly the case. She'd definitely opened her eyes at least a few times during the night, wishing for the security of her home. The female raptor let out a quiet sigh and glanced down at Blade and Alira. The black and red allosaur had shifted to curl into a loose ball, and seemed to find some security in the position...or, at least, as much security as she could, judging by the little muscular twitches Selena spotted every now and then.

Gothmog's eyes seem to blaze with anger.

"You Spinosaurs are all the same- lying, coniving, ruthless, tricky, and full of bloodlust. How could I trust you? Back down first, and I MIGHT not decide to eat you."

Drool falls from Gothmog's mouth, the Giga looking crazed and hateful......

Howler woke up as well, getting stiffly to his feet and cracking his neck a couple times. The chair was soft, but it certainly wasn't made for raptors...

The raptor fell out of the trees, landing with a dull thump on a thick dirt mat, crouched. Standing up he arced his back in a stretch, followed by a yawn. He scratched an itch on his neck as he thought of what to do now. He was hungry, his stomach pained for food, which meant wandering around the world of humans had to wait. He started through the ungergrowth, sniffing the air, wanting to disguise his own scent by rubbing against the plants...

"Good sleep?" hissed Fatalis as he glanced at the Raptors, looking towards the entrance. their kill from the previous afternoon had undoubtedly attracted predators by now. he considered heading out to check it alone, to decide whether it was safe to risk feeding from it again...



Crusher smirked as he saw Switchblade's reaction. "Don't worry. anything with the guts to risk attacking while i'm here will be dead before it realises what an idiot it is" he growled as he turned towards the lake, dipping the end of his enormous head into the water, taking several long, heavy laps of the water, satisfying his thirst...


Blade yawned as he lifted his head, stiff muscles aching, the Allosaur closing his jaws and biting down slightly harder a couple of times to properly flex his jaw muscles, before rising to his feet, shaking his whole body, stretching and craning his neck a couple of times, getting a few faint cracks as a result...

Renegade woke up with a start, feeling that he was in danger. He wildly looked around, before calming down, realizing nothing was wrong. He'd spent too long on the road, without anyone to watch out for him, or any way to hunt larger creatures, as a result of being alone. He had been a scavenger for the most part, whenever he had the chance. Even as he thought about this, he could smell a carcass, belonging to a muttaburrasaur, within a mile's radius. He followed the scent of the dead animal, taking him through Central Park, until the smell was so strong it was on top of him.
The lone raptor saw the corpse, between two bushes, and stepped toward it, the smell of it overpowering all others. It seemed to be partially eaten already. He dug into it fiercely, ripping off large bites of meat, and tilting his head upward slightly as he swallowed them, trying to eat before he would have to face an encounter with another predator, whom this dinosaur was obviously killed by...


Shredder looked at the Giga, still down one eye, sizing him up.
"Don't kid yourself. You're not worth the trouble it would take me to kill you, nor the trouble of saying half the things I should, in response to such an arrogant statement..."

[Pyronychus]

Sylicora continued to flex and stretch her neck and shoulders as she hissed, "I'd say so, yeah. That's the softest thing I've slept on in a while... a bit cramped, but I can't really complain."

The Lili's crested head lifted from the lake's surface, a small grin crossing her maw. She was so used to living a solitary existence, the response had been completely automatic. With a light snicker, partly at herself, she hissed, "I've been waking up like that alot lately... just can't get used to not having to worry about being surprised..."

"Haha. How very typical of your kind......"

Gothmog sizes up his foe as well, not intent on backing down........

[Evil Eye]

"You obviously like fighting," Shredder smirked contemptuously. "You've just finished one, from the looks of it, and now you're trying to get into another. It's a wonder you've survived this long."

[Godzilla Forever]

"I'm not here to fight. You've just invaded my resting spot........... I actually prefer to not fight, as you can see from my scars.........."

Gothmog stands his ground.

"Besides..... being this large has its advantages."

[Evil Eye]

"Then why challenge me by roaring?" Shredder asked. "You have quite a bit to learn about not angering others, especially if you 'don't like fighting'. First you act like you want a fight, then you insult my whole species. Not the smartest, are we?" He taunted in a low voice...

[Godzilla Forever]

Gothmog shrugs.

"We gigas aren't known for our brains....."

Gothmog bares his teeth.

".....we're known for our strength. And no, I have no respect for your species........... you can have none for mine either..........."

Gothmog begins to approach the Spinosaurus threateningly, as if he really does want to fight...........

[Evil Eye]

"You don't need to tell me you're brainless, that's quite obvious," Shredder hissed. "I do hold a certain amount of respect for your species," he growled. "But most certainly not for you."
Shredder maintained his position, not moving in the slightest as the Giga approached him...

Gothmog chuckles sadistically, almost too insane to realize he just insulted him. The Giga then lunges at his foe, snapping at his right fore arm........

[Evil Eye]

Shredder moved to the left quickly, with amazing agility, causing the Giga to stumble, off balance. The camouflaged Spinosaurus then lunged at an angle, slamming into the Giga on its side, causing it to fall over...

Gothmog rolls with the blow, managing to get to his feet quickly before giving his foe a headbutt, making him stumble and giving the Giga a frame of time to back up and prepare for his foe's attack.........

As Shredder was headbutted, he backed up slightly to absorb the blow, before using his hands to grab the foe's head, slashing at his face with his claws...

"Better than the tree roots," Howler growled, scratching his stiff neck.
