"D'you think it'd be a good idea to try and find Crusher, then? Or should we stick with our plan of 'wander and see what we find'?" Selena cocked her head, glancing at the silent form of Alira. The raptor couldn't read her expression, so it was hard to guess what she thought of this.

"Well, we COULD try and find Crusher. i think i've heard his roars, but with the way sound gets distorted by all these human cliff-cave things, i can't be sure...can't even be sure he's actually here. A predator like Crusher isn't exactly easy to take down...there's no guarantee the humans even managed to get him" growled Blade. he glanced over at Alira, noting she hadn't said a word since they started discussing the subject. "But we can't decide this ourselves and leave Alira out of it. Alira, what do you think?"...

"I think the pair of you chatter more than a nest of hatchlings," Alira growled, rolling her eyes with a flash of humor. Growing serious again, she added, "If the humans got Crusher once, they could have gotten him again. And trying to find him could lead to trouble...but so could wandering aimlessly." She lifted her shoulders in a shrug. "I said I'd stay with you two, and I'm not one to go back on my word, wherever we end up going. Lead on."

Howler shrugged. "Sure, I'll train a bit, I guess," he hissed.

"Eternal gratitude from a creature such as yourself sounds much more appealing then simply entertaining myself." Darkness hissed, shrugging.

The Rex chuckled at the Raptor's comment. "Friendship alone warrents that gratitude, Darkness" he growled. "There are many resources of value in the world. but friendship is among the most valued. a being with friends and family will gain the other things in time. but one with neither will face many difficulties getting the same" he explained as he walked...

Blade nodded. "Alright" he growled. as he walked, checking scents and listening for a sound even remotely resembling the Rex, he thought over Crusher's habits. He goes for the best territory he can find, and had occupied the center of the island back home...he also never chose a place too far from a favoured herbivore feeding ground, to insure an abundence of prey. "I say we try the center of the island. if he's around, he may have set himself a territory there"...

"Then the center of the island it is," Selena growled. Alira nodded, trusting Blade's judgment in this.

"Normally I would find such speeches coming from a blood soaked behemoth strange..." Darkness growled, smirking, leaping over a stump.

Gothmog reaches the Chrysler building, the smell of blood strong.

"The creature went through here.... it must be close......"

Gothmog continues following the scent, nearing his prey's location......

The twins exchanged a glance, Sylicora speaking for them both. "Sure, we'll come too... Unless you'd prefer that one of us stays behind to guard for now and we switch off later... either way works."

Crusher chuckled. "But you know all too well that this blood soaked behemoth knows exactly what he's talking about" growled the Rex with a smirk, coming up to the wreckage of a small car, the Rex simply walking over it, crushing it's weak roof under his weight, continuing onwards...

"Well, the trees aren't far enough to keep Renegade out of sight. i could probably watch him while teaching you three" growled Fatalis as he turned to the entrance...

Blade walked towards the center of the island, the discomforting smell of blood catching his attention as he walked. there had been a fight nearby recently, and something had been hurt....lacerated extensively. the smell of blood was steadily getting stronger. Blade changed his direction a bit to avoid the area, just in case whatever fought or hunted the source of the blood was still around...

Selena leaped onto a tree that had half-fallen down and now leaned against a healthy trunk. She stretched to her full height in an attempt to get a better look at their surroundings. The scent of blood put her on edge. Anything with a nose good enough to scent the reek from a distance might be heading this way in the hope of easy prey. She was glad she wasn't here alone; she was no coward, but a raptor without a pack was essentially a moving target. A target smart, fast, and ready enough to fight back to provide a challenge for something intent on eating it. She scratched her scarred muzzle absently, ridding herself of an irritating itch, before leaping down from her perch to follow the pair of allosaurs. Alira seemed edgy too, glancing around warily with her lip curled in an attempt to drive the reek out of her nostrils.

"Alright. If you think so..." Sylicora and Rhojis, with a quick glance to Howler, moved toward the entrance after their leader, the gray raptor falling a bit behind his sister. He wasn't looking forward to this, but it was necessary if he wanted to be able to improve his general abilities...

The Lili once again aligned herself with the huge park's edge, though she was careful to stay out of the park itself, in the heavily overgrown road around it. Her goal at this point was to get far enough away from the Spino's bloody trail to be able to pick up more subtle scents over the stench. Trying to search here would be pointless and dangerous, seeing as the smell would most likely start to attract predators soon, if it hadn't already...

Howler trotted after the raptor twins, mostly ignoring Renegade for the time being...

"Maybe i would..still full from my meal though" growled Hellfire with a smirk as he walked onwards...

Fatalis broke out into a sprint once outside the building, launching himself into the air and hitting a tree at about 12 feet off the ground, letting his weight pull down on his limbs before heaving his entire form upwards simultaniously, the momentum raising him another 4 feet, before kicking off onto a branch in a tree behind him, 4 feet down, getting an ideal perch to train the three from. "The first rule to climbing a tree is to make sure you've got a good grip on it. your claws are long, sharp and effective for this. but you need to make full use of them" he growled as he watched the Raptors from above, Renegade visible from his position due to an opening over the entrance that, in it's days of use would've been filled with glass mosaics, serving a decorative purpose...

Blade sniffed around as he walked, unwittingly heading for the borders of Crusher's current territory. the scent of blood was mixed in with several scents, Crusher's scent among them, though Blade had missed it due to the smell of the blood...

"Who said you had to eat?" Aircrest said, walking down the desolate streets. Cracked roads and sidewalks, the occasional weeds sticking up in the breaks. "Just go 'Hello Spike-back, would be kind enough as to let me chew on your spine?' and see how it goes from there!" the raptor barked. He started flexing his jaws, as if preparing

Howler seemed rather hesitant to try what Fatalis just did, simply staring up at the raptor as he spoke...

"Oh yeah. that Stegosaur definately will let me climb onto it's back and gnaw on it. won't consider IMPALING me at all. Great idea. why didn't i think of that?" hissed Hellfire with a smirk...

Fatalis pointed at the tree he'd climbed, nodding at a lower branch, only 7 feet up. "Try and climb onto that" he hissed. he had specifically chosen the tree because it's surface was rough and brittle. it'd be harder to climb than your average tree...

"Again. Who said you had to ask?" Aircrest growled, snickering at the thought. Get the drop on a stegosaur, bite its plate a few times, careful not to slice his gums and then jump off while its still recovering from the shock...

Howler frowned as he stared at the branch. After a moment, however, he crouched, staring intently at his target, before leaping straight up with all his might, scrabbling madly up the trunk as soon as he made contact. Fortunately, his jump was at pretty good height, and it wasn't very difficult to find purchase on the tree branch and hoist himself up. After regaining his balance on the branch, Howler growled, "Well, that wasn't too bad..."
