[Hopeflower]

"Your sister," Rose growled interestedly, turning her head towards the two raptors. "Funny how disasters can bring a family together."

Selena settled back into a semi-relaxed crouch on Alira's back, her expression showing discomfort at the mention of her niece. She didn't like to be reminded of her relation to Steeltalon. She kept her mouth shut, though, knowing Crusher was right - this was no time to be fighting each other when they were already struggling to survive.

Alira had snapped her head around to give Crusher a wary look as soon as he snarled, unconsciously taking a few steps back. This...wasn't looking good...

Hazel looked away from Hellfire, the blind raptor's words throwing off her thought. Not thinking much of it, she growled to Rose "He's the only one of my old pack Ive found here. I think the others werent caught." Aircrest thought "So Curdle's still on Sorna? Lucky b*stard... if he were here I'd hunt him d-" He shook his head, casting the idea of killing the rusty red raptor away. He couldnt weigh his own satasfaction against his sister's feelings. Hazel cocked her head. "Something wrong?" She asked with a bark. "Uh..no, something got into my eye is all" Aircrest replied. "Its ok now though"

"Now can I break the news without being so rudely interrupted?" Darkness growled, looking at the Rex for a moment before turning back to Selena. "The obnoxious one is dead. There, news broken, deed done." he hissed plainly, though he noticed, much to his surprise, that the Allosaurs were backing up slightly. Of course, the only one Crusher didn't intimidate was the one the comment was aimed at...

"I don't believe you," Selena growled bluntly. "Everything you've said to me so far has been to rile me up." She scratched her muzzle, hiding the brief pang of shock she'd felt well.

[TyrannoTitan]

"If that's the case, I guess you don't want to hear how he died. Fine by me." Darkness growled simply, shrugging.

"like I said, I don't believe he's dead," Selena growled. "And we don't have anything else to say to each other." She pointedly looked away.

Rose growled, "Lucky them. But you never know."

[TyrannoTitan]

"Aw, I think I upset her." Darkness growled mockingly. "It was good fun while it lasted." he hissed, yawning.

[The Kingpin]

"Darkness" growled Crusher scoldingly. usually he was amused by Darkness' idea of fun. but when it targetted friends his annoyance overrode his amusement. Blade meanwhile knew he wasn't in a position to say anything. it had been a stroke of luck that he was gone before the incident that caused Darkness' hatred towards the others occured. he could very easily have become a victim of Darkness' colder side as well. it wasn't something he wanted to tempt. the fact Darkness had figuratively locked horns with a Carcharodontosaur and had been little more than bothered and bruised by it, was enough for him to guess he'd have alot of trouble if faced against the Raptor. the fact he considered Darkness so dearly meant he wouldn't be able to fight back even if he had to. a difficult position...


Hellfire nodded to Aircrest. "No offense intended, Aircrest...an honest mistake...Anyone in my position could make the same" he hissed...

"I hope for the best" Hazel growled in response, making her way towards the river. She dipped her snout into the flow and started drinking. Aircrest however, had fallen silent, not exactly sure what to say. Ripper always told him to keep optimistic, and he was pretty sure he had been- save for the incident just minutes ago- but hoping always left a chance for disappointment. But then again, being brave enough to have faith meant something didnt it? He let a smile creep onto his face. He looked up and growled "Its Ok, Hellfire" He wondered if he should tell the Deinonychus his story...if anyone would understand, it was him...

[TyrannoTitan]

"Yes yes I know." Darkness growled, waving a hand at Crusher dismissively. "So, Blade...who is this?" he hissed, nodding toward the other Allosaur.

[The Kingpin]

Blade glanced at Alira, not sure whether to bother after that little performance, though things had seemed to calm down. "Alira? Crusher and Darkness....Darkness? Crusher? Alira" he growled dully...


Hellfire smiled, relieved it wasn't held against him. though the appearance of Aircrest's sister rose several questions...

"A pleasure," Alira growled, but the words sounded a bit hollow after the confrontation they'd just witnessed.

Rose followed Hellfire's scent to where he'd taken his drink, still thirsty after her brief struggle in the water. She strained her ears for the sound of something swimming towards her as she started drinking, not wanting to have the experience of being grabbed by a crocodile or something else.

Hazel lifted her maw out of the water and looked at Rose. Immediatly she could tell she was relatively young, and blind. It wasnt unheard of, for young raptors to go off on their own. Her own brother was proof, but still, a blind raptor shouldnt be on her own to begin with. Uncomfortably, the brown female growled "So...how long have you known Aircrest?", thinking that the little group was some form of pack, it was the only way she could think of that made sense. She couldnt fathom being blind with no one to help her, especially in a new place...

Aircrest, taking his chance primed his legs, a powerful launch sending him vertical. He slammed his hands on a branch, redirecting the momentum of his jump so that he landed on the branch in a crouch, looking at the Deinonychus that was just infront of him. "Can I talk to you...in private?" He barked, quietly...

"Not long at all," Rose growled between mouthfuls of water. "I just met him, actually." She paused in her drinking to listen again, and went on when she still heard nothing approaching from the water. Her head cocked slightly at the sound of Aircrest landing on the branch, the young female curious but more focused on satisfying her need for water than on eavesdropping.

[TyrannoTitan]

"Nice to meet you, Alira." Darkness growled, nodding. "You three aren't here to visit me, I suppose." he hissed, looking toward Crusher expectantly.

"Then surely you travel with the Deinonychus?" Hazel growled, raising a scaley eyebrow slightly

Rose shook her head. "I used to have a pack...not mine or my parents' by blood, but still a family of sorts. But I think they must still be on the island," she growled. "I haven't scented them anywhere."

[The Kingpin]

Hellfire eyed the raptor, cocking his head curiously, before shrugging, leaping at the tree, claws digging into the bark, the Deinonychus launching himself upwards and into a higher branch near Aircrest, hopping onto another branch that bent off to the side so it was nearly facing him, before turning his head to face Aircrest on a slightly lower branch, the Deinonychus crouching to give him some decent balance. "What's on your mind?" he hissed...


Crusher nodded respectfully, his eyes by this point back to their normal sky blue, the grey and tan, tigerstriped Rex inwardly angered that such an outrageous performance was seen by someone who hardly knew them. Darkness may have actually damaged Blade's friendship with the two simply by entertaining himself...

"Everything in my life ever since I became a loner" Aircrest growled. "Its going to be a hell of a lot longer than my other tales, no pun intended"


Hazel growled "And you've been fending for yourself?! Blind!? Its amazing you havent been picked off by a hungry predator yet"

Hellfire nodded. "Well then....want to start?" he hissed, getting comfortable...
