I sheath my blade and sit on the floor, deciding to let HF have a fair fight with gira, and I'll pop in at the end of the fight.........

That was rather rude of you, Gira. *takes a sip, swirling the crimson liquid briefly* You shouldn't have interrupted my drink...consider yourself lucky it wasn't lost. I become quite feral without this nifty concoction.
To answer you, GF, I am no mere shadow...I am darkness personified. I am a demon, a beast, yes, but a beast that can think, and plan. I am a beast that that does not need nor crave power, because what I have is all that I need to prove my strength when challenged. Why go after more when what I have is adequate?

Perhaps that's true for the ones who think of only ways to climb the ranks, so to speak. But I prefer not to cut down hordes of people for that small spark of power. A man or woman, whether human, demon, or otherwise, becomes a beast when he becomes powerhungry and cannot define where the line he shouldn't cross is. A beast would murder countless people to get that "fix", and then repeat the process even more violently, like any addict craving their drug.
