Aircrest made a rumbling in his throat out of irritation. The rain slowled down to a drizzle, and the storm was just about to end. But the impact it had would be a lasting one. Scent trails were strewn about and the smells were diluted by the moist leaves. There were a few times he thought he picked up on his mate, only to have the trail abruptly end, leading to a completely different smell. Hazel's situation was worse. She knew how Selena looked from what Aircrest told her, but what she smelled like was a mystery. She was just making sure that they werent being stalked by another predator, or heading into an ambush. Her head perked up at the sound of a frustrated snarl. She looked to Aircrest, who growled "What?" Hazel cocked her head but didnt say anything. She looked into the dark gloom that over took the overgrowth. Aircrest sighed. "Just keep at it" He growled to himself. "Maybe you'll get lucky"

Selena, who had been gazing into the trees with a brooding expression, snapped her head around so fast that Alira was amazed her neck didn't break. Her eyes were wide with stunned disbelief. "Y-you saw him?" she stammered.

"You obviously don't know us very well then," Razorwing chirped indignantly. "We can handle some big dumb herbivore!" The pterosaur looked around and added, "Which one of you is the boss? Please tell me it's not him." He pointed a wing at Renegade.

"I should've asked you this earlier...but how's life been treating you, now that you've decided to go it on your own?" Aircrest growled as he pushed his way through the shrubs. "Pretty well... keeping myself fed, sleeping and moving when I want to... I can see the appeal of a loner's life" Hazel replied. "But then...its well...lonely" She added, turning her head to look at her brother. A smirk was on her maw. "You should know... considering your companion..." She started snickering. Aircrest chuckled at the irony. It was true, the only reason he used to stick around with Selena was because he wanted someone to talk to when he got bored. He never really expected to fall in love with her, especially since his last incident, but somehow he did, just as she somehow fell for him. "I would ask you the same but..." Hazel began to growl, stopping soon after avoid saying something that would upset the dark green raptor. Aircrest shook his head. "Theres been some painful moments in my life, yes. But who the hell cares? Those are my problems, no one else needs to worry about them" Aircrest barked. Hazel cocked her head. This was an interesting side of her brother. "All in all, life's been great. Days of keeping myself alive and living life to the fullest... throwing myself in the face of danger-" Hazel squinted her eyes, contemplating hitting Aircrest again. He didnt have to speak so highly of tempting fate. "And protecting those I care about?" Aircrest growled, chuckling half heartedly after. "Atleast your trying" Hazel growled. "Its good to see your natrually this high spirited" She added, smiling. "To tell you the truth... Im really worried" Aircrest barked somberly. "I told Selena that I dont like seeing her hurt, and it was the truth. Turns out, I like not knowing her condition at all even less"
"Dont worry Aircrest, if she's here, we'll find her" Hazel growled, trying to keep in high spirits too...

[The Kingpin]

Fatalis smirked. "Do i really need to say it?" he hissed, surprised the pterosaur still hadn't figured out he was the leader...


Blade nodded. "So did Alira. we ran into him yesterday morning. he was relaxing on a rock...soaking up the sun...resting...being a smartass..." growled the Allosaur with a smirk...

Razorwing looked at Fatalis. "If that's a yes, then good. You look like a reasonable raptor. Uh, kind of."

[Evil Eye]

At Fatalis' words, Renegade glared icily at the pterosaur, irritated in its bringing up the leader situation. He was a very independent raptor, having been a lone wolf mere days ago, and didn't like the thought of being ordered around, even if it was from one he respected.
He jumped down from the branch he had been on, turning his back to the rest of them, and walked toward the human structure they had been sleeping in, disappearing from the others' sight as he rounded a bend...

Shredder waited for the t-rex's onslaught, assuming a defensive position. From the looks of it, negotiation was out of the question; he would have to fight, weak or not...

Lightfoot and Goldeye continued on their way toward Spike's location, the male Ceratosaur's leg causing him much pain. Lightfoot looked down at his leg, only nown realizing the damage the Rex had done. He had hoped that he'd be able to recover, but now, he saw it wouldn't heal up completly. All he wanted was for the wound to clsoe up before infection could set in. Lightfoot kept limping on after Goldeye, both Ceratosaurs wondering how large the Rex territory was, and when they'd leave it...

"Only so long as my patience holds up, and as that Dromeosaur learned, certain conditions can wear it thin very....very quickly" hissed Fatalis, just a hint of malevolence in his tone as he spoke. "As for our pack...technically, there isn't a Leader. I'm the most senior and the one who calls the shots...but the others aren't obliged to listen if they disagree" he clarified...



Rampage upped her pace, rapidly closing on the Spinosaur, fangs bared, ready to rip it to shreds...

"Well, if you call the shots, how about it?" Razorwing replied. "We scratch your scaly backs, you, uh... give us free food?"

[Evil Eye]

Shredder backed off, taking steps backward. He was already weak from lack of sustenance, and there were more rexes here than he could handle by himself. Throwing his pride to the winds, he turned tail, carrying himself southeast, toward his territory.
As he drove forward through the overgrown city, he could see himself pulling apart from the trex, and putting distance between them. The spino's lighter build allowed him to move at a faster stride, as opposed to the heavyset trex, who's heavy head would slow it down...

Renegade once more rounded the corner of the building, as he'd done before, finding the metal fire escape on the side of the apartment. Loud clangs indicated he'd started climbing up it, to reach his place of solitude on the roof...

Rampage continued to pursue the Spinosaur until they reached the territory borders, not bothering to try and rush and catch the Spinosaur, knowing it was retreating, Rampage unleashing a booming territorial roar after the Spinosaur, a warning to all who heard it that tresspassing would not be tolerated...


"We get priority though. what's left you can have" responded Fatalis...

"Oh, of course!" Razorwing chirped. "We have small appetites anyway..."

[Hopeflower]

Said Allosaur winced faintly when Selena accidentally dug the claws of one hand into her skin. Hearing the noise, Selena quickly let go with a hurried apology and turned back to Blade. "So he got sucked into this mess too," she growled, not sure whether to be angry at the humans that had thrown them into this unfamiliar situation so suddenly, or relieved that there was a chance, however small, that they'd meet again. "I'd hoped he was still on the island..." she went on in a murmur. "But at the same time, I wanted him to be here."

Rose followed her old friend, barely able to hear the sounds Switchblade made over the rain, but keeping up fairly well all the same.

"Then i suppose it's settled" hissed Fatalis simply, before heading back to his packmates...




"We could look for him if you like" growled Blade...

[Hopeflower]

The mutant look-alike couldn't help looking hopeful. Alira growled, "Hate to jump in, but who do you mean by 'we'?"

The two raptors had made their way from the edges of the over growth. They were now heading into the inner regions of the urban jungle, moving down a pebbly path, plants growing over it. The path would lead to somewhere near the strange lakes, Aircrest knew that from his experiance the other day. "Keep alert, we're heading towards some water ahead, and I think I was being ambushed around here the other day" He growled quietly to the dark tan colored raptor that walked beside him. Hazel nodded, listening intently to her enviroment. She heard roars of Tyrannosaurs a few minutes ago, clashing with the thunder that rumbled in the distance. The major part of the storm had moved on, leaving a barely noticable drizzle. Under the cover of the trees, the raptors couldnt even feel the droplets, only see the streams of water flowing off the leaves above, and down the tree bark."Looks like the storm's over" Hazel growled. "Great" Aircrest barked. "The giants are going to continue their screaming contests, now that the thunder isnt here to shut them up" He added with a snort. "I dont think the Rexes we heard were hindered by the thunder..." Hazel growled. Aircrest shrugged, growling "Damn things dont like being upstaged, I guess" Hazel snickered before growling "The only thing that can upstage a Rex is a storm?"
"Well, what else can? Not the fish eaters, thats for sure" Aircrest replied, glad for the casual conversation.

"Yes! We won't let you down... er, what's your name again?" Razorwing took off from Rhojis' head and flap after Fatalis...

Red Eye was roaming Central Park, now heading Northeast while leaping from tree branch to tree branch. Up until the storm had stopped, he had layed under a patch of trees not far from where he and Orange Sail had claimed their territory. Now that it had ended, though, the Raptor was in the mood to go exploring, although he intended to return to the territory by nightfall just to be safe...

After a bit more walking down the path, Airccrest growled "You wanna rest a bit? Wait for the scent trails?" Hazel looked up to the trees as she thought. It would beat wandering aimlessly. For all they knew, they were heading farther away from Selena, ignoring the possibillity that she wasnt in the overgrowth to begin with. "Alright" She growled as she stepped off the path, heading through a line of shrubs. The bushes rustled and water ran off the blades of leaves. Aircrest followed, resisting the urge to launch himself onto a moist branch...
