"I'll remember that, should the matter arise." Umbra growled in response. As the Rex turned to leave, Umbra watched until it was out of his view due to the buildings. Once he was alone in his area again, Umbra walked over to the half eaten stegasaur corpse and began eating it until it resembled the hadrosaur corpse next to it. He then went back to the side of the building where he was resting and lied down on all fours again, letting the slight breeze cool him off again.

"The kill's been laying there for almost a day. it's smell has likely got all sorts of predators moving towards it by now. we need to leave before Carnotaurs get to it...otherwise we'll be running the risk of being attacked without knowing what's attacking us" barked Fatalis as he went...

Hunter soon reached the northern border, the intruder's scent getting notably more powerful. it was a Giga...a large one. the Rex let out an annoyed snarl. another fool whose ego needed deflating...

chomper sniffed the air once more and noticed that the rex scent was noticably stronger and headed toward the scent wanting to protect his new territory

It wasn't long before the Giga's rhythmic thumping strides caught Hunter's attention, the Rex stopping, watching the Giga approach through the trees, the Rex baring his fangs, a rumbling snarl eminating from his throat...

Renegaded nodded. Fatalis was right, though the red-orange raptor couldn't help but hope they'd run into something along the way. After seeing Fatalis take the Spinosaurus, he was eager to test himself against a large predator as well.
"Where will we be going to?" He asked...

"Tresspassing in my territory to get here was a big mistake, Giga" snarled Hunter irritably, the Rex's fangs bared, Hunter's dark grey and tan hide having a distinctly navy blue and orange tint. nobody who didn't know the size difference and Crusher's trademark facial scars would be able to tell the difference between him and his son...

"You'll learn to regret that mistake" snarled Hunter coldly, the Rex widening and lowering his stance in preparation for the imminent fight...

as the Giga spun, Hunter lunged, slamming his head into it's flank, knocking it off balance and onto the ground, a low rumbling snarl coming from the Rex. "Get up. Your ego's still too big for me to let you go that easy" snarled the Tyrannosaur as he flexed his jaws, as if heralding the inevitable bone crushing bites the Rex intended to inflict...

as the Giga tried to bite Hunter's leg, the Rex lifted his foot, before rapidly pressing it down again, the toe claws ripping through the Giga's mouth as it tried to bite, leaving several deep wounds in the Giga's jaws...

Now at the front of the building Spike was in, Lightfoot and Goldeye let go of the Camarosaur kill before dropping to the ground, both Ceratosaurs panting due to the difficulty involved. The garage door began to open, Spike having pulled back the rope attacked to the back of it. The massive Spinosaur looked at the kill, then looked at the injuries Lightfoot had gained, a disgusted look on his face. "Let me guess... A T-rex did this to you?" Spike grunted, to which Lightfoot nodded. "It was two member's of Crusher's family. Apparently, we had unknowingly entered their territory, and both of them put us in line..." Lightfoot panted, his leg hurting him badly...

Hunter's eyes narrowed as he eyed the larger Giga, wondering what his father would do in his place. "I'll let you live...but find a territory elsewhere. You won't be allowed to have a territory on our borders" he growled, predatory eyes locked on the Giga, closely watching every move, expecting the Giga to try and catch him by surprise...

"Jeeze Aircrest, your bleeding" Hazel growled, still in disbelief. Aircrest looked over to his sister and cocked his head. He felt small streams of blood run down the side of his snout and down the back of his neck. The same feeling was on his leg and stomach. "I wasnt aware" he growled, not exactly in a sarcastic way, but it was obviously not true. "Im going to go clean up" he added befored he turned around, wading into the water that was behind him. The water washed over most of his wounds. He bobbed his head under the water a few times, washing away the crimson fluid. The cuts stung in the water, but the small twinges were better than having them get infected. "Ill go try to find some moss or something" Hazel growled as she turned to the surrounding trees. She ran off, finding the situation awkward. It wasnt what she was expecting, that much was certain.

((last post for tonight. its past midnight))

Fyre returned to the river for a drink, seeing hadrosaurs start running away from him. Really? I kill three and then they run like hell? What's with these herbivores? After he drank his fill, he walked to the center, a large, half-destroyed building. He went inside and fell asleep.

((hmm.... where exactly AM I? river... check. borders crusher's territory... check. very far away from crusher's last reported location... check. too far to hear any large carnivores fighting... check. possibly within a mile or two of Aircrest.... check.

I FAIL BETWEEN MIDNIGHT AND 6-7 AM))
You've lost the game,
The game of life,
So drop your pain,
And leave your strife.

After a while of laying down, Umbra thought to himself "This isn't getting anything productive done." He lumbered up from his resting place and began exploring his territory. He was sure to go out several miles from the river, and he began leaving scent marks every few hundred meters or so for miles in every direction.

It took about a quarter of an hour to scent a territory Umbra was happy with. Once he was done he returned to the center of his newly claimed territory and lied down for some more rest, wondering if anymore visiters would come his way.
