Saw the first, didn't really care much for it. There was no plot, no special effects, no really mind-grabbing fight scenes, nothing to pull me in...

Boring stuff. The violence was over gratuitous with no real reason. Sure, Jason's creepy, but past that, there's really nothing that makes me go "oh, I think I'll go watch another one!!!"

My personal favorite Jason kill is from part 7 where he grabs the girl while she is in her sleeping bag and wackes her against a tree. They did the same kill in Jason X but this time he waked two sleeping bags together while the people were in them.

It's still just Jason going around killing people mindlessly, no plot. Becomes boring after a while IMO.

My problem as well. He has become like godzilla: he's an icon now. He can be in more movies, but he really doesn't need to be anymore.

Actually there IS a plot. He drowned at summer camp and came back to life to exact revenge or something.

But ya its not worth seeing.

It's worth seeing Jason is a bad ***, the first four movies are great.

No his mother exacted revenge, he wasnt dead but was wandering in the woods, he came back to avenge his mothers death

godzilla and Jason are very alike in the way that both characters have become so popular that after awhile people begin to loose interest. Both franchises have had a time where they started to become lame.

the problem is that the people who run these franchises play it safe and don't take risk with the franchises, They think we want to see the same thing over and over again.
