Vergil nodded, before looking for a comfortable spot to lay down, not daring to think for an instant that it was safe here...

Nick kicked off his shoes and took off his suit jacket, before laying his head on a pillow and closing his eyes...

Walking out of the door, G walked out into the main area of the mall, the only way to get to the other areas. After a few minutes, it suddenly stopped and sniffed the air. It had picked up the scent of not one human, but three. It seemed that the creature had had a large stroke of luck in picking up the scents of three possible meals at once. Moving at a slightly brisk walk, G began to follow the scents, now more than ready to put the metal pipe it held to use...

Vergil lay back against a wall, propped up in a corner, half snoozing, a fair sized piece of wood nearby. he had made it a habit since a certain incident 11 months prior where he had been cornered and out of ammo, a zombie stumbling towards him. he had tripped before he could force the zombie back with a punch or kick, and a lead pipe had been next to him. that was the only thing that saved him, Vergil having put it between himself and the zombie, ramming it forward and into it's chest as it lunged, stopping it and making an audible crack as it threatened to rip through the front of the corpse's ribcage. he had subsequently kicked it back and beat it to death with the pipe, before running. once he found the knife and some more ammunition, he began practicing with the knife on a large wooden board he had propped up in the safehouse he had at the time, honing his aim when safe in the safehouse to the point he could nail most things directly from several meters away. but he still didn't dare sleep outside a safehouse without some form of long pole, pipe or piece of wood, to use in case a zombie got too close before he woke...

G continued to follow the scents, which were now getting stronger to it. It had slowed it's walking speed a bit to reduce the amount of noise it's footsteps made, now moving with the speed that a human might normally walk. After walking on for several more minutes, the creature spotted the area in which the scents were clearly coming from. G walked toward the area, the pace at which it moved at the momment very similar to how a human might walk when calm, which would possibly fool the humans into thinking that what they heard was another human...

Cooper was checking his ammo for his 12 gauge and his colt M1911, checked his guns and supplies, and prepared to go out on foot to live with other survivors if there are any. Cooper pried the boards barricading the door down with his crowbar, opened up his way to saftey, and set off for a group of survivors. He put his tool up, grabbed his shotgun, and set off.

"What a world, a apocalypse, no hope, no escape, what a world." Cooper had mumbled to himself.

Dm's apparently too lazy to respond to you IK, so i guess i'll have to deal with this myself...

Vergil stirred as he heard the crackle of broken glass being stepped on, opening his eyes, quickly going for the piece of wood, jabbing Nick awake. "Nick....we have company" he said as he got to his feet, being careful as to where he put his feet to make sure that no sound was made. he moved his hand towards his gun, preparing himself to shoot down whatever came. in a world like this, zombies weren't the only threat. as supplies diminished at the end of the first year of the zombie apocalypse, survivors were becoming as much a threat as the zombies. it was undoubtedly becoming more and more common that survivors would severely injure or kill other survivors to take their supplies. that was one of the main reason he had turned his main safehouse into a vault, keeping supplies safe...

G, aware of the noise that the glass it stepped on was making, cast it's gaze down to the floor and quickly spotted an area that had fewer shard, walking to that area while taking care to tread around the shards. It had faintly heard a sound coming from where the three humans were, but it only came from one, not all three, something the monster found rather odd...

As Cooper was walking along the streets of his old hometown, he suddenly tripped over a damaged wheel that was infront of the old sewer, he lost his grip of the 12 gauge, and it fell down the seemingly endless pit. "Great, just great," he thought to himself as he brushed his jacket off with his hands. Then, he suddenly heard the moans of the undead and footsteps coming to his postion. Cooper grabbed his pistol and prepared for a large fight, again.

Deep in a dark alley of the city, a large, mutant bear emerges, looking quite haggard and hungry. Katahdin, as the beast has coem to be known, lumbers down the street, looking for something to eat...

Cooper ran for houses and checked if anyone was stationed in them, using them as a stronghold, then he came along a building with a mutated zombie by the door, and started firing at it, trying to keep his aim as steady as possible. 3 of his bullets missed, 2 nicked the weird looking figure, and the last three hit it's grusoming, skinless torso.

Nick got up, rubbing his eyes. "What? What's going on?" he muttered, fumbling for his jacket, and the pistol within. Renfield was already on his feet, crowbar clutched in his hands, eyes darting quickly back and forth...

"We have company is what's going on" responded Vergil, his voice barely a whisper, as he glanced around for something more sturdy than a plank to use as a melee weapon, his knife not giving him enough range unless it was thrown...

Walking at it's current pace, it didn't take G long to reach the enterance to where the humans were hiding. The creature pushed the curtain aside with it's left hand and it saw the humans even before it set foot inside where they were, raising the pipe held in it's right hand as it began to walk forward, making sure that all three remained it's its sight at once so as to avoid being blind sided...

Nick opened fire upon seeing that the thing in front of him wasn't human, emptying his clip into the creature, the high-caliber rounds tearing through G's upper body...

Even though G was hit, the wounds began to rapidly heal, although the creature still let out a growl of irritation from the shots hitting it. It suddenly charged toward Nick, swinging the pipe down at his head once it was close enough to the human...

"Sh*t!" Nick shouted, sidestepping the blow as it came down at him. Dropping the clip, Nick hurriedly loaded a new one as Renfield cracked G over the back of its head with a crowbar. "Bad son! Very bad!"

G snarled angrily from the blow to the back of it's head. Whirling around, the back of it's right hand hit Renfield in the face, making him stagger back as the monster advanced on him, preparing to hit the man with it's pipe...

Vergil opened fire, two shots hitting the beast in the hand, hopping to cripple it or at least injure it enough to force it to drop the pipe...
