Renfield staggered back, as Nick reloaded his Desert Eagle and fired on G as well, three rounds hitting it in its massive right arm. Renfield, not waiting to see if that stopped it, scurried away and around G, back to the protection of his fellow humans...

G snarled, blood appearing where the shots had hit it's right hand, but it did not drop the pipe. It turned itself to face Nick and Vergil, then advanced on the two armed humans, now intending to use the pipe to crippe their ability to use their weapons...

Cooper continued running along the streets of the devastated city block, blasting a zombie in the head that had gotten to close, making him show a disatisfied smirk and make him say, "damned undead creatures never seem to give up!" Soon, he reached a building were he could hear shooting and a snarl from a zombified beast, causing him to come up to the door and bang on it with his fists, hoping someone would let him in and atleast help them fight whatever was in there...

"Eyes! hit the eyes!" said Vergil, changing tactic, the man firing at it's eyes, attempting to blind it, 3 rounds being fired off, one landing in the shoulder, and the other two in the head, the man trying to keep it from getting closer while keeping some distance between himself and the beast...

Katahdin continues down the street, occasionally sniffing the air for fresh meat.....

The berserker messily finishes eating his zombified ally. Turning to look around, the berserker howls loudly before heading out into the night..........

Nick aimed for the beast's face as well, his shots becoming more accurate as the creature got closer...

G snarled as the shots slammed into it. It's regeneration was greater than that of the humans it was currently attacking, but it wasn't willing to risk losing an eye in case it had to deal with something else and to make matters worse, the wounds wouldn't heal under constant attack like the hail of bullets that were currently hitting the beast. Deciding that it had taken enough, the creature backed away from the humans, then turned and began to run back the way it had come. The situation hadn't been favor, given all of the broken glass that had been in the area outside. G would not give up hunting them so easily, though, for humans were hard to come by and to kill even one of these three would truly be worth the time of searching for their scents to find them, however long it would before it found them again provided that they didn't manage to elude it or they were not killed by some of the other creatures that were in the city...

Nick panted, staring at the beast as it retreated, then lowered his gun. "Well, that wasn't so bad..."

"If by 'wasn't so bad' you mean that we only blew half our munitions on the thing as opposed to all of it, then yes, i suppose it 'wasn't so bad'. In any case i think we need to find ourselves a safer place to hold up...unless you want to go safehouse hunting in the middle of the night, of course" said Vergil as he put his gun back in his coat...

Nick nodded. "Uh, right. Hey Renfield! You got any better places in this hellhole of a mall to stay for the night?" Renfield was backed against the far side of his fort, holding a pillow like a shield and his crowbar like a sword. "Why, yes! Please, follow me, friends!" He dropped the pillow and scurried cautiously outside...

Cooper quickly slowed his fists within even hit to the door, before stopping and turning around as the gunshots ceased. He slowly fell down until he was sitting and leaning against the wall, before saying to himself, "life was perfectly normal-normal... until these, these THINGS showed up!"

"Oh great....i hope this next place is more reliable than your little 'fortress' which that monster managed to just waltz right into almost undetected" said Vergil as he followed...

Renfield grinned. "Nowhere is safe anymore, my friend!" Nick glowered at the man's back in irritation as he quickly ran out of the store and deeper into the mall. "Try to keep up! You don't want to get lost, do you?"

"Makes me want to put a bullet in HIM sometimes...lucky for him he's not worth it. that bullet i blow on him could otherwise end up being the difference between me living and being eaten" muttered Vergil as he hurried after Renfield, keeping his voice low enough so only Nick could hear him...

"Necessary evil, it seems. Remind me to turn back next time we run into a crazy old man who thinks zombies are his friends right up to the moment they smash down a door and want to eat him" responded Vergil as he continued onwards, gun gripped tightly in one hand...

"Yeah, I'll keep that in mind..." Nick replied flatly. "Let's keep moving before more flesh-eating monstrosities find us, huh?"

Vergil grunted, though whether it was in acknowledgement or amusement was difficult to discern. the man pursued the crazed elder in silence, almost as if contemplating the various elements of their situation...
