As the black and silver dragon ascended, he saw a black figure shooting downwards in the distance. eying it for a moment he realised it was a dragon. interesting considering he hadn't seen any in recent days. he had thought for a short while that perhaps he had found a place on the continent where dragons wouldn't tread. he kept mind of the Dragon, noting various small villages in the surrounding area at various spots, some by the beach, some deep in the forests and only visible because of the faint trails of smoke coming from hut chimneys, some even built into a cliff face in the distance; a fact that surprised the dragon. he would have to investigate later. Septimus suddenly closed his wings, swinging his tail upwards in relation to his body, the webbing of his large tail fin causing him to do a sudden backflip, flipping him nose down, the Dragon beating his wings once, shooting downwards at the river, the dragon holding the arm with the rods slightly to the side, as he used his tail and wings to change angle, moving almost horizontally as he reached within feet of the ground, moving across the river at high speed, his jaws lowering to the water as he glided along its surface, drinking several mouthfuls of the crystal clear water, snapping his jaws shut on a fish as he went, his clawed hand holding the rods just below the water's surface, cleaning them from the remnants of the previous night's meal, before ascending and flying back to the clearing to retrieve his equipment, the Dragon spreading his wings widely and beating powerfully as he slowed to a stop, the gust blowing into the trees, a faint thump sounding as the Dragon landed. walking on his hind legs, arcing his back to adjust his displacement to allow him to do so, the Dragon walking over to his travelling bags, dropping the metal rods in one and fastening the opening at the top, before closing the leather cover over the top of it, the Dragon then biting the fish in half, gulpig down one half whole, before eating the other half, the fish being too big to swallow in one gulp. licking his fangs clean the Dragon crouched, easing the straps on and making sure they were firmly tightened, before taking off once more, in search of his next destination...
"Ah yes, organised chaos. the sign of a clever but ever-busy mind. To the perpetrator, a carefully woven web of belongings and intrigue, but to the bystander? Madness!"
