The console's holographic screen showed the views from several security cameras, as well as status readouts from the beacon. The merchant's attempt at busting the console failed, merely passing through the screen and bouncing off the metal stand that supported it...

The possessed Collector paused in the next room, looking over the bodies of the Eclipse mercs and the merchants. More Collectors followed it in and gathered those corpses as well, while their leader proceeded into the tunnel...

One merchant began hacking into the console, managing to shut off the beacon as he started locking some of the doors in the facility down. The one's he had locked were only the one into the room with the piles of dead mechs where the G.E.A, other merchants and Bori-Saurochus were, and the door leading out from the tunnel into the large room the group was at...

The possessed Collector stopped at the locked door and stared at it, apparently curious as to why it was locked. With a casual wave of its hand, the Collector sent an unbelievably powerful surge of Force energy at the door, busting a massive hole in its structure and sending pieces of metal flying in every direction. The Collector stepped into the room and stared down at the merchants. "You will come with me, humans," it snarled flatly...

The front door of the facility was even more of a wreck than it had been before, being almost nonexistent now. The Praetorian, now able to fit its bulk inside, crawled into the corridor, before beginning to hover a short way off the ground, ignoring the busy Collectors around it...

One merchant, who was dragging one of the dead bodies, quickly spoke up, saying, "we're just here to help these guys mop up. They're in the control room trying to fix some stuff right now that got busted during the attack," while some of his comrades nodded in agreement. He continued dragging the corpse through the room, hoping the merchants in the next one wouldn't come out and give away what they were actually doing...

"Do you think me a fool?" the Collector replied immediately. "I know all! I am everywhere! I am Harbinger!" Raising its hand, the Collector lifted the merchant who had spoken into the air, then squeezed and twisted its wrist sharply and quickly. The merchant's neck suddenly and brutally snapped under invisible fingers. The Collector released its grasp on the dead man, and he fell to the floor. "Now surrender immediately, or you will pay the price for your insolence."

The Praetorian hovered slightly above the crates, spotting a man hiding in one. It immediately fired its particle beams, which incinerated the soldier. The construct floated steadily along the corridor, executing anything hiding in the rest of the creates...

Jessica stays silent.....

"Really shouldn't try doing that, buddy," a merchant soon said, while the men in the control room began starting up sercurity defences. The warriors, soldiers and merchants stayed as silent as they could in the mostly covered crates, trying to keep away from any light shining into the boxes...

No security measures existed in the defunct mining facility, except for the now-wrecked mechs brought by the Eclipse mercs. The building was truly useless now...

The Collector ignored the remark. "I think I will. You will embrace perfection, or be annihilated. It is your decision to make, humans..."

The Praetorian continued its search, systematically executing each soldier, warrior, or merchant in their confined space...

Those still alive in the room began moving the tops of the crates slowly, to avoid detection as they begun sliding them over the top of the boxes. The merchants didn't respond by talking that time, but by throwing their weapons aside and surrendering, though a few kept some weapons hidden to escape later on...

Spotting the movement, the Praetorian screeched angrily, zapping the crates themselves and melting through their very structure, exposing the humans within. The Collectors suddenly turned their weapons on the exposed soldiers, but did nothing, as if waiting for an order...

The possessed Collector nodded in satisfaction and turned away, walking out of the room...

Suddenly, as if on cue, a massive swarm of strange insects descended from the Collector Cruiser, swarming into the entrance corridor and descending on the humans huddling inside the crates. Every being they stung was almost instantly paralyzed, surrounded in some sort of glowing red stasis field...

Some of the one's there ran for it or surrendered, while a few others fought back to protect their retreating comrades. Dylan felt as if he had let everyone down, but slowly and finally got off the ground, before slowly limping towards the dead Morleon, a hand one his stomach with the other somewhat lazily floating in the air...

The Seeker swarms were undeterred by gunfire and swiftly overtook those attempting to hide, paralyzing every last living human in the close quarters of the corridor. The possessed Harbinger had since returned, looking over the paralyzed, but still aware, humans. "They are the Harbinger of our perfection! Prepare these humans for their destiny!" The Collectors dutifully carried the bodies back outside with the corpses, while the Seeker swarms steadily made their way deeper into the facility, looking for any more survivors...

Dylan moved further to the corpse, befor ekneeling down and prying open one of Morleon's hands. He slowly and shakingly lowered his blood-stained arm down to the item, before pulling it up and unsteadily began bringing himself back up while the merchants in th next room soon came out...

The Seeker swarms made their way into the next room and soon began filtering into the tunnel, heading towards the remaining living merchants...

Jessica waited with the other merchants, keeping her pistols close to her......

Dylan soon returned with Jessica's necklace that her father had given here, before slowly limping towards her with it, pain making him slow down. "Here... here you go," he said while holding his hand out with it, while the other merchants soon grabbed their weapons again...

Jessica takes the neckalce before putting it back around her neck. She then hugs Dylan. "Thank you, sir........ I don't know what I would've done without you...."

Dylan seems a bit surpirsed for a moment, but still manages to say, "it was my pleasure to help you," as he started to feel his consciousness slip away from the blood he was beginning to lose. There was no medic in the group, and with the enemy forces around, chances were he wasn't going to recover anytime soon...

Suddenly, a smal swarm of the Seekers poured into the room, attacking two of the nearest merchants and swiftly paralyzing them...

The other merchants, reacting quick upon this attack, either began shooting bullets or missiles at the swarm of Seekers, or begun burning them alive with the few flamethrowers being used. Dylan pulled out one of his pistols and spun around, before blasting at a few of the Seekers attacking the group...
