The servant raised an eyebrow at the man. "Call me Xavier."

The guars look around, keeping their eyes peeled, before Draco says, "Don't let him escape. I think he requires.... inquiring."

"Ah, good. Don't want a Demon running around Aster unchecked, do we? Nasty things, they are..." Looking around, Elias frowned, but his eyes were bright. "Well, it seems the bugger left his mark, didn't he? This couldn't be a better time for us to arrive, you know!" He gingerly placed the sack on the ground, which seemed to shift slightly on its own. "We're travelers, you see, going from place to place and helping those in need with our unique talents of entertainment. Quite the morale boost, you know! And if that doesn't satisfy your wishes, we can always provide useful manual labor, isn't that right, Henrietta?" The sack suddenly toppled forward, and a young, sprightly woman dressed in a red and green leotard rolled out, hopping easily to her feet, glittering tassels trailing from her costume. She had raven hair, green eyes, and a bright smile. "Right you are, Elias my boy!" Giving her own flourishing curtsy, she added to the group, "Henrietta Crow at your service, m'lords and lady!"

Tetto'eko blinked and snapped his head to Septimus, as if broken from his thoughts. "Ah, yes, of course," he said, getting up and scampering over to the dragon, leaning on his staff and staring at the map...

The spy keeps himself hidden in the alley, his hand holding tightly onto the handle of his sheathed knife, the man waiting for the guards to come search for him in that general area.

Ikargu continues descending as he and Sarah got closer to the lake, Saurgu's features now visible to his daughter as she neared the two...

The guards clsoed in from both sides of the alley, watching closely in every direction, as Draco waits at one side, ready to disable the assassin should he try to run out.....

Sarah sees Saurgu and shouts, "Hi, Saurgu!"

The spy stays still as the guards come into the dark alley, his face concealed by his hood and the shadows covering everything in the small corridor between two buildings. The man would use this stealth to his advantage and bring down any guards if necessary, but other than that wouldn't do nothing at all...

The guards, seeing how dark it is in the alley, use their Drakon gifts to make the tips of their pikes glow bright red, allowing soem vision and for the pikes to inflict even more damage......

Draco waits, acting like nothing is happening in the alleyway, letting passerby look at him, but do nothing more....

"A pleasure to meet you two," Xavier replies.

The spy keeps still, his hand still holding tightly onto the knife of his as he waited for the Draxon guards to come for him.

Saurgu soon replied, "hello again, Sarah. Glad to see you so happy today," as Ikargu kept on flying, the other ice dragon now gliding close next to the other two, wondering why they were going to the lake...

Arsenic and Vix exchanged slightly uneasy looks. We do need the help, he said quietly, making sure to keep his voice confined to Vix's mind. She blinked slowly. Andruil said help was already on the way, she pointed out. Yes. But many are wounded, and several are dead. He felt her pain renewed, and a stab of guilt for bringing it up. But he pressed on, We'll need all the help we can get. Vix shot a glance at Andruil. Include him in this conversation, she said. Arsenic let out a sigh, but reached out to Andruil's mind, pressing the memory of the quick conversation forward gently and adding a questioning tinge to his thought.

One of the guards grew close, and pointed his pike at the spy, the tip glowing an ominous red. "you're under arrest by the Drak bloodline's guard!" The other one catches up, pointing his pike at the spy as well.....

Sarah says, "We're going to go swimming! Do you want to join us?"

Saurgu soon responded, "sure, ok," as she flew alongside Sarah and Ikargu, both dragons and the girl descending towards the lake still, preparing to land near the bank of it.

The spy makes a sudden move-one hand quickly placed on a part of the spear as it's jerked forward, the man's knife being pulled out swiftly as the guard is suddenly impaled near the heart with the blade. The assassin was quick to get past his partner, shoving the guard aside and running out of the backway of the alley, leaping from wall to wall of the buildings in an almost unhuman manner...

OOC: The guards have armor you know....

The guards quickly give chase, the one who gots stabbed pulling the blade out and trying the catch up.....

Draco hears the running and heads to the other side to give chase......

Sarah holds on, making sure not to slip...

OOC: Oh... yeah.

The two dragons soon land, Saurgu quickly going into the water while Ikargu lowered his form for Sarah to get off of him and walk around more freely.

The spy keeps moving, snarling as he realized his attack was worth nothing other than a small distraction, the man moving quickly to escape his possible captors...

[The Kingpin]

Halfway through the entertainers' talk, Andruil's griffinhawk let out a long rasping warning snarl, its feathers fluffed widely, the bird seeming almost three times its actual size, gaze locked with Match. Andruil raised a hand and petted the falcon's head steadily, the bird falling silent, though still eyeing Match with an almost murderous gaze, protective of his master. though not obvious to the two in front of them, the whole time Andruil had been thinking about it. Shiryaz wasn't the only one who sensed something wrong. They had done a good job covering it up, but his senses had seen through the defences. They're the beetle-creatures we encountered in the city, Arsenic. The scent is all over them....as well as that of the demon he thought in response to Arsenic...

Septimus eyed Tetto'eko for a moment, before looking down at the map. "I've been thinking about our current position and the known cities nearby. The closest on I know of is this one. Freyr-Lunge. I've heard stories about the place. They seem to revere a Dragon god of some kind. They're highly interested in magic....at least, the nobles are. We could probably get some useful information there" he growled...

Vix made a mental sound that resembled a hiss. Arsenic thought, Damn them. I'd so love to see how they reacted to Aviva's venom. With that he withdrew, turning to the 'entertainers'. 'Thank you for the offer, but you must have somewhere else to be,' he said, polite but on edge, ready to fight if they needed to.

"Sounds interesting to me," Tetto'eko chirped. "Let's go. Maybe they're selling some unusual artifacts... or maybe something from Lustria that they plundered. Always nice to give it back, you know."

Elias eyed Shiryaz curiously, saying, "Er... is your pet okay? He seems rather... agitated. We wouldn't want that, now would we?" Turning to Arsenic, he smiled politely. "Somewhere else to be? Why, you must be mistaking us for someone else. We don't ever NEED to be anywhere. We're travelers, as I have said. We go where we want, and we want to help here, out of the goodness of our hearts!" "Please, good sir, let us prove ourselves, at least?" Henrietta asked, fluttering her eyelids jokingly.

"Be that as it may, Match, the people here are in mourning. Many of them have lost loved ones. To accept your services would be disrespect" answered Andruil as he eyed Match. "You on the other hand, m'lady, I'd be happy to welcome. Unfortunately we're a bit short on private accommodation at the moment, if you get my meaning"...

"Indeed. Who knows, perhaps i'll be able to find someone who can write runes to help make manipulating electricity easier...or perhaps ice" growled Septimus optimisticly, as he rolled the map and placed it back in the satchel, taking the spit's components and wrapping them in the leather straps that kept them from sliding freely, placing them in the other satchel, making sure the weight of the two were perfectly identical. once he was satisfied, he strapped them on, before nodding to the skink. "Ready when you are" he growled...

Tetto'eko eagerly climbed onto Septimus' back with a smile. "To Freyr-Lunge!"

Henrietta smirked coyly at Andruil, looking him up and down. "Well now, aren't you a friendly one..." She turned away, looking carelessly at her fingernails. "Of course, I don't go anywhere without my fellow performer. I simply must refuse if he cannot stay..." Elias said nothing, merely rolling his eyes.

Arsenic resisted the urge to roll his eyes, while Vix rubbed her temples and looked away pointedly, clearing her throat.

"Hm. pity. Your loss" responded Andruil simply, sighing. "Good luck wherever your business takes you next. May the next village you come across be in a better state to hire entertainers" said the man with a smirk...

"Unless..." Henrietta said suddenly, turning back to Andruil, "You're willing to let me and my partner here discuss it for a bit. I am sure he will bend eventually..." Elias frowned, but still said nothing...
