Eziok slowly looked up at the captain and said, "What can I help you with, captain?"
Kuran slowed his pace. He began to crawl vertically up the pallisade, his mind working a plan out.

The archers keep up their chase, sending some bows at Kuran as he climbs along one of the walls of the Confederate kingdom. "Well, I'm no actual archer, but there is an instructor in the nearest range that you could meet up with and he'll tell you what you got to help the recruits with," the leader of the small group of warriors replied after a moment...

Kuran swiftly doubled back around and leaped off the massive wall....

Eziok went into another violent coughing fit as he tried to speak.
clearing his throat again, he inhaled eeply a few more times.
"You'r confident your company wouldn't need someone with my skillset?"

[UndeadRaptor]

"Well, you could always join our army," the captain replied, before adding on, "though... you'll have to go through SOME training." The archers continue on firing arrows at Kuran as he runs, believing that the being was just scouting them for a far larger force...

Kuran landed on the ground and began running along the bottom of the wall, sticking close to the walls, as to not be seen. He needed to get into the kingdom... there were plenty of oxygen-breathers in their... or should he simply continue his hunt for the marksman?

Eziok began talking again, "What do you mean by some trai-" The marksman's eyes rolled back nad he collapsed on the floor.

The soldiers watched as the marksman fell, while doctors rushed ot him and moved him back onto a medical bed to check him. The archers keep on firing at Kuran, trying to drive the beast off as a patrol neared where the creature hid at...

[The Kingpin]

the man glanced at the merchant through the corner of his eyes, before walking towards the merchant, his features concealed by the hood, the man's face held low. "What have you for me, friend?" said the man, his voice gruff as one would expect from such a ragged traveller...


Arashi nodded as he soared overhead, leaving the two behind. what he had just seen was well worth the trouble. more information on what gave unicorns' horns their power. It isn't the horn...but the unicorn itself. The horn is simply a conduit through which magic is channelled...interesting...


"And could you have someone show me these locations? As you can probably guess, I'm not a resident of this place...i would have no idea where to start" rumbled Septimus as he eyed Draco...

Kuran heared more of the oxygen-breathers approaching him.
He was in no shape for a full-fledged fight, he needed to feed first. The apex predator bound off in the opposite direction of the patroll and the kingdom in search of a quick and easy kill.


Eziok was dreaming again...

It was standing above him, just like it had been in the forest. He reached back for his bowie knfie... and then it struck. The beast whipped its tail at him and impaled it into his leg. Eziok could feel the pain again.. why could he feel the pain? Then it had been prepareing to lunge at his head when he slashed its arm with his bowie knife. He would never try that again. The blade didn't even penetrate the animals skin, it simply... bounced off.
That exact moment, he had bellowed out for help. And what the creature did next chilled his every wakeing moment.
It bellowed for help, right back at him. But this time Eziok punched hte beast in the face and screamed at it, "BLEED, WHY WONT YOU JUST BLEED!"

little did he know, he had been screaming in his sleep and flailing his arms.

Near Kuran, a small pack of Huergahs stalked the beast, chasing him down as he ran off. The doctors tried their best ot restrain Eziok, but failed as he kept hitting them violently...

There were oxygen breathers following Kuran.....
He froze and leaped into a tree, crouched, and waited...


Eziok's memorys flashed by him.....

he was sitting in the royal court again, awaiting the kings trial... Then he was holding a dagger to the slavedrivers throat.... Then he caught a jumble of images, rangeing from his hunt of the beast, to the night when he walked into his home to find it standing over the body of his wife.

Then, he was in a dark cave... he didn't reconize the place.. he couldn't see anyhting. What was happening? things were moveing about around him, he could feel them touching him... they were trying to pin him down!

He kicked and pushed back madly, unknowning that what he was seeing was simply an illusion.

Just before Kuran leapt to the tree branch, one huergah pounced at him and missed, but quickly transformed itself and flew up at the creature, roaring at him. The doctors move away from Eziok, keeping themselves away to avoid being hit and injured...

Kuran hissed and spun around as one of the animals leaped at him.
He bared his teeth, dripping with saliva and bellowed at his pursuers.
(OCC: Kuran Isn't a marksman, hes a Kalesh.)

Eziok saw one of them standing above him.... its saliva dripping onto the front of his armor.
It opened its mouth, and the infestor head shot out at him.

He screamed madly as his eyes snapped open.
He was coveredin sweat and panting, his vision blurred.

OOC: Fixed.

The huergah growls, just before sending itself at Kuran, it's jaws wide open as it bit down onto the arm of the creature, beginning to drain it's blood. It's other packmates followed with it, transforming and after a few moments, flew up and attacked as well.

The doctors look at the marksman, wondering what's been happening to him this whole time...

Kuran schreeched and stabbed the Huergah in the leg with his tail as he pulled backwards.

Eziok inhaled rapidly as he looked over at the doctors and mumbled, "Wha, what exactly.. just happened to me...?"

[UndeadRaptor]

The huergah makes a yelping sound as it continues draining the life out of Kuran, not wanting to lose a meal for it's pack today.

One doctor replies, "we're not sure. You might've went into shock, though..."

Kuran opend his jaws, saliva dripped slowly from his mouth onto the ground his mouth as the small infestor head prepared to thrust forward at his agressor.


Eziok was visibly shakeing.
"I saw it again.", He muttered again and again as he laied on his side, panting.

One huergah saw what was about to happen, before tackling Kuran off the branch and saving his bretheren, before the two continue on with what the first started doing, others simply joining in on the possible kill.

"Saw... what, exactly?" a doctor asked Eziok, thinking the marksman was going crazy...

[SniperSaurus]

Kuran screeched madly as he fell. He had been blindsided by one of the demon-wolves.
The angry kalesh slashed at the others as they pinned him down. His tail flailed rapidly, stabbing at the beasts.


Eziok closed his eyes and inhaled slowly.

"There called kalesh, once a dominant species in my homeland, they literally used up all living things. All their prey. including my people. Whats left of us is scattered tribes that dot the land.... but the kalesh, we had thought they had destroyed themselves. But it seemed as they had survived when one attacked my home, and tore my wife, my apprentice, and my brother apart. I shot it on the leg, but it didn't seem hurt, it simply screeched and broke through the roof, and bounded off into the shadows... I chased it for months, only cathing a glimpse of it rarely. I eventually gave up the hunt, and left my homeland, looking for a new living. But, that was my mistake. It followed ME, it hunted ME."

[UndeadRaptor]

"That's terrible, Eziok!" Matt had exclaimed after a moment, the doctors and others in the room nodding in agreement.

A couple of huergah backed off, but the rest kept on draining the life out of Kuran, one's paw holding down on the beast's neck, it's claws prepared to slit the creature's throat...

Kuran could feel himself dying. He was dying? He couldn't die! He wouldn't die. He must continue the fight. But death was so much easier....
The call of the matriarch pushed him forth.
Kuran battered the one who held his neck down by flailing his body around, like a whip.
though still pinned to the ground, he opened his jaw, dripping with saliva, and the infestor head struck the huergah without any pain to the animal, transmitting a Kalesh parasite that would bear carry Kuran's memory, strength, intelligence and skill.

The hunter slipped away into the void...

Eziok turned to the men, "The pains gone now... but It'll be back, I know it. it always comes back... it always comes back...."
