OOC: SS, I don't think you understand the passage of time. Just because you post every time you aren't the latest poster doesn't mean that hours have passed. Your "azaria" started and finished her journey in a span of a few minutes, which is fairly ridiculous, and as did your archer character, teaching the trainees in no time at all. Slow down, before you majorly screw up.

By now, Tzeentch, once again disguised as a crow, was perched above the city of Freyr-Lunge, watching the city progress normally, unmoving...

"No problem, Sarah," Ikargu responded to his daughter, as a faint figure flew towards the two, high in the sky. Saurgu continues flying back to her friends, the ice dragon now over Draxon again...

Serenity's ears perked when she heard a rustle in the foliage. She glanced to where the noise was coming from, and found it was that same lizard, now scurrying toward the dead wolf-beast. She sighed in relief before getting up, wanting to continue their journey. She nudged Revion, who was resting beside her, and nickered, "We should move on. I doubt we have anything to worry about now. We can walk, if you want." She stated the last part as she glanced at his leg.

The black unicorn snorted and shook his head. "I am sure that I am fine." He turned his head to the sky to find that Arashi was gone by now. "It was great that Arashi came just in time." He managed to grin, as much as a unicorn could grin. "I am grateful to his services."

"Hmm, yeah me too...though I do find it a little odd..." Serenity started to walk off, further away from the forest and toward what looked like endless plains.

Revion soon followed the white filly. He was relieved to be a little further away from the forest by now, and relieved that the surroundings were slowly starting to change. "At least they're gone, for now," he said in a cheerful voice, while Serenity stayed focus.

With his bag full of leafy branches, Desrium turned away from from the near bare bush. He raised the compass up and opened it, taking note of his current heading. He was facing roughly south. "If I left Daaven heading northeast, I should be heading southwest to get back." He thought, twisting the ring around the display until the notch on it laid between south and west. He then turned about so the needle on the compass lined up with the notch before shutting the brass case. He looked to the lizard, which was chewing a mouthful of leaves. It turned its head to look at him also. "Ill be seeing you then" Desrium said with a nod to the Frondfoot. It let out a snort, turned its head and flexed a frill flap at the armored being, the end flicking at him almost dismissively. It then casually clamped down onto one of the bush's branches, stripping it of leaves and chewing. Desrium looked away from the lizard and then put his palm out infront of him, watching the rain drops fall onto his metal hand. "It doesnt seem like its going to let up any time soon" He thought. He started to head off after, walking at a fast pace.

"I believe the Temple would be a good place to start" rumbled Septimus with a smile...

"Sorry, friend. But i have no use for an Orochi head that's been fossilised. a freshly killed one, perhaps. but not that one. By arcane I mean objects or sources of knowledge of a magical or alchemical nature" explained the disciple...

"How could he have just bloody disappeared?! we were moving together!" exclaimed one of the 5 remaining guards, David Fisher. "Calm down David! Panicking won't solve our problems. at the very least, Samuel knows how to defend himself. If he's lost track of us he'll probably head back to the village. that's the logical thing to do" responded Bairn. "Now, let's keep moving. We're here to find the five missing people. We can't stop because of one of our own. The village is depending on us" he said finally, before continuing onwards, tracking what little traces of tracks he could find along the natural barrier. he soon found an opening, a gap between two large rocks where the ground rose steeply. signs of a frantic climbing attempt could be seen here. and by the looks of it, it happened when the ground was wet....meaning possibly when it rained 4 days prior. this was John's trail. Bairn climbed up, using jagged edges of the rocks on either side to maintain a foothold where the ground was too unstable, getting onto the ridge. glancing around and making sure the coast is clear, he called to the others to climb up with him. before long, Rupert and David had climbed up, along with Daniel Trype and Joseph Reede. but then there was silence. "Andrew! get up here will you? we can't wait all day!" called Daniel. there was no response. "How'd he? Where'd he go?" said David, his fear beginning to show. with a crunch, a few of the smaller rocks fell loose, and an arm was visible on the edge of the ridge a short distance away, Andrew climbing up. "I couldn't get a foothold. Had to move further along" he explained as he approached. "And you couldn't do that and answer us at the same time?" asked David, the most jumpy of the group. "Didn't hear you....Must've been too concentrated on getting up so I wouldn't be left behind" he explained. David fell silent. "Alright. Just try and pay attention to us in the future. There's something off here. I'm starting to doubt we're really dealing with bears or wolves" said Bairn. the others nodded, Bairn continuing to track John's trail...

Ferdinand nods and heads toward the temple, humming one of the hymns. The temple itself was huge, towering over 50 feet tall, with runes carved into the pillars supporting its roof. As the two approached, the shouts of salesmen can be heard, trying to convince the dragon to buy something.....

"Ooooh... I'm sorry... I was thinking of something else... If THAT is what you are seeking, then this medallion here would suit what you'd need..." the salesman smirked as he brought the medallion with the hman/snake hybrid on it back up. "Supposedly, this medallion was worn by a priest who came here long ago. The priest had great powers few have ever sen since his death. The priest himself, shortly before he died of old age, said that the powers in particular came from this very medallion..." the salesman finished. All that h had said up to this point was indeed true, but now... to scam some money out of this customer...

It wasnt long before Desrium arrived back at the knoll in the clearing, deciding to go around it to save some time. A small pool had formed around the mound and Desrium splashed through it with every step he took. The rain was getting heavier as time passed. That, along with the thick undergrowth that lay ahead promised to make the trip back to Daaven difficult.

Syria stood underneath the slanted roof over the inn's porch, watching as rain water ran off the sides. Resting a few feet to her side was Perioul, the Frondfoot laying on its stomach with his limbs sprawled out and his head laying on the wood, his body curved slightly. She had let him out of his enclosure shortly after Desrium left. "I guess saying it was going to rain was an understatement, right Perioul?" She said, leaning back against the inn's door. Perioul glanced at her and wiggled the blue-green flaps on his neck. Perioul let out a low rumbling noise as he extended his frills shortly after. Syria chuckled. "Alright you grouch, I know you dont fancy the rain. You sure do like laying on the porch, though" She said. The lizard folded the frill and pressed the flaps against his neck scales before closing his eyes. Syria pulled herself from the door and turned around, opening it and stepping inside. She was off to finish organizing the books she brought the night before, there were still a few that had to be sorted.

The disciple stretched his hand out. "Give it to me, friend. Let me see for myself" he said...

Septimus was impressed by the traders' bravery. Septimus was easily twice the size overall of the largest of horses. and with the massive wings added to the equation and the fact that, for all they knew, he fed on humans among other things, most people would be terrified to approach him. either that, or struck with awe, if they knew enough about dragons to know that he was a kind that had never been seen before in any of their lifetimes, or even their ancestors' lifetimes. The Dragon continued onwards after the man, heading towards the temple, curious as to how the disciples of this 'Greshlynk' would react to seeing a dragon walking into the temple...

Tetto'eko had been unusually silent throughout the trip through Freyr-Lunge. He had raised his hood over his head to avoid suspicion, as he did in all public places, and his yellow eyes darted around from within the hood, watching the inhabitants move about. Something was... off about this place. He could feel it in his bones. However, it was not his place to ask suspicious questions. For now, he merely stayed quiet, listening and watching intently...

unbeknownst to the Ra'zac, the poison on the arrows was already beginning to act. Seeping into the veins of the creatures, helped along by the ragged tears left when the Ra'zac ripped the arrows out, it was heading for their hearts, lungs, and brains. Left to its own devices, it would cause the slow breakdown of the tissues. By the time its effects - nausia, dizziness, crippling headaches, and sudden collapses - were felt, it was usually too late to do anything to repair the damage done. Depending on the affected creature's metabolism, it could take days or weeks before they noticed anything.

The forest troll finds what it was looknig for and takes one of the corpses back into the forest with it to feed...

Ferdinand pushes open the temple's main door. "Go in, my friend. There are no ceremonies right at the this moment, so you are free to talk to a priest or, if you're lucky, Greshlynk's avatar."

Hearing this, Septimus cocked his head. "Avatar? Greshlynk has an avatar?" he rumbled curiously...

a pair of arrows hit the forest troll's arm, the two Valenhad archers having gone around, with their companions, to flank the beast, catching it in a cross fire, trying to force it to put down the corpse...

The troll roars in surprise and drops the corpse, not expecting the be ambushed, and quickly retreats into the forest, hopnig to come back later when everyone is asleep.....

Ferdinand nods. "Yes. He takes control of the statue within the temple. That's the only way he can communicate to someone, unless you're a Drakon...... considering your species, you may very well hear him speak."

A couple of assassins recovered the body, one of them calling out, "That won't be the only creature drawn here! We need to get these bodies buried." Arsenic was on his way back with Dante, the captives having suffered minor injuries. They were all still alive though. 'Brionna, Lailoken, stand guard and make sure nothing else gets that close to the village,' he ordered, kneeling beside the body of an old friend. He touched the man's forehead and shoulders, murmuring, 'Your journey was too short, my friend. I wish your life had not ended this way. You rest with the goddess now...Loessa willing, we will meet again one day.' He stood, beginning to move among the assassins, checking wounds and offering comfort at the loss of so many of their friends.

"And what's keeping him from appearing himself?" inquired Septimus curiously, eyeing the man...

another pair of arrows were fired after the troll, the soldiers wanting to eliminate the threat now rather than wait for it to come back when they weren't prepared...

"He will be avenged, Arsenic. I promise you that" said Andruil as he walked up to his friend...

Ferdinand says, "According to what Fafnir the Wise wrote down when Greshlynk spoke to him (for he asked the same question as you), and old him that the Old God's code does not allow him to come into physical form, past that of his stone effigy, until his people are in dire need. So unless Dragons are nearly wiped out of existence, Greshlynk will not come."

The troll keeps running into the forest, ingoring the arrows lodged in its flesh. It could pull them out later.... it's top priority was to escape the soldiers.
