Zeke, unable to resist the urge any longer, was now happily swimming in the river, resisting any disturbance caused by the storm fairly well. Uriel sat at the bank, watching the serpent swim with half-closed eyes...

'Makes me wish Aviva were here,' Arsenic said with a quick smile. 'Still. Some would say setting up for the fire is half the fun.' He let out a chuckle.

Septimus cocked his head, and was just about to ask what made Tetto think that, when he heard something distinctly familiar. he took a few strides forward, being careful now. "I think I heard something" he growled quietly as he weaved around the trees, trying to choose his path towards the source so as not to risk being detected until he knew what it was he heard...

"True. Still. Wouldn't it be pleasant to just lie down and relax and let the fire light itself? God knows, we could all use some decent rest after yesterday..." responded Andruil with a smirk...

Tetto'eko quickly followed after Septimus, making sure to stay within his shadow and under his wing, if possible...

Uriel lazily made his way over to where Andruil was trying to light the fire, spitting a small ember onto it, causing it to burn, before dragging himself back over to the river...

The gryphon riders quickly run into the palace, and soon bow before their king. "My leige, we have troubling news to inform you of...." "And? Speak quickly, for I have important matters to deal with." The other rider speaks up. "The village appears to be protected by some force..... it seems like they are trying to build up." Draco holds back his anger upon hearing this. "I understand. I much as I want to make them suffer, I have important thnigs to deal with.... we are needing allies." Allies, my king?" The riders say together. "Yes, allies. I need you to look around and find an old cartel we trade with.... they have a good deal of power, and I'm sure they will enjoy having more wealth to line their pockets....." The riders nod and head out despite not being willing to ride out into the storm again...

'True enough,' Arsenic replied, nodding. Vix was twirling one of her throwing knives around her middle finger, feeling well enough to be a little bored, but still very weak.

Andruil chuckled amusedly at the Dragon. "Well well, seems he understands us better than we thought" he said with a smirk...



Septimus walked between the trees carefully, finally stopping when he spotted the inhabitants of the clearing....and craned his neck in surprise. Uriel.....AND Arsenic. among others. he could hardly believe his luck. He let out a low rumbling growl to warn them of his presence, before stepping forward from the treeline...

Andruil jumped at the sound, his hand around his sword hilt as he whirled around, blade drawn and pointing at the newcomer warily, eyes widening slightly as he saw the size of the creature. an agent of Zazikel? or something else entirely?

"What are the chances, eh?" Tetto'eko said, obviously surprised. He stepped out of under Septimus' wing and grinned. "Small world, eh?" he chirped.

Vix tensed, grasping her knife by the handle. Arsenic had spun and had one of his needles in his hand, ready to throw, before he realized who he was looking at. He straightened in surprise, eyes widening. 'Small world indeed! I didn't expect to see you two here.' he greeted the two, putting his weapon away.

Uriel lifted his head at the commotion, spikes up and alert. Following the others' gaze, he eventually came to Septimus and the other creature he had seen the last time. Standing within a split second, the dragon bounded over to Septimus, eyes wide and maw twisted into a sort of smile. Meanwhile, Zeke was none the wiser, swimming happily in the river and enjoying every minute of it...

Once Andruil noticed everyone was reacting positively to the dragon, he calmed down, sheathing his sword. stepping towards Arsenic he asked "Whose this?"...

"It's pleasant to see you both again" growled Septimus with a smile as he cleared the treeline, raising his forearms as Uriel approached, pleased to see his friend well and happy...

'Andruil, this is Septimus' - he gestured to the dragon - 'and Tetto'eko. Septimus, Tetto'eko, this is Andruil.'

Uriel ran circles around the larger dragon, happy to see his rescuer once again.

Septimus chuckled at Uriel's behaviour, before eyeing Arsenic and his friend. "Greetings, Andruil" said the Dragon with a smile. "Well met, Septimus. Though I am curious. There are no other Dragons planning on encountering us along our way, are there?" asked Andruil with a smirk, Septimus shaking his head. "I'm afraid I wouldn't know" rumbled Septimus, somewhat confused by the question, looking towards Arsenic for an explanation...

'We ran into him again not too far back,' Arsenic said, gesturing to the black dragon and turning to Vix, who had been strangely quiet. She had set her knife down and tucked her chin into her neck, almost dozing. He rested his hand on her forehead, smiling faintly when she gave a tired murmur.

Septimus' expression turned to one of understanding, his mouth opening in a small 'ah'. the Dragon eyed Uriel, pleased to see the smaller dragon happy. How have you been, friend? How has life treated you since we last met? he asked mentally...

Andruil walked over to Vix, sitting in a crouch near her, a concerned look in his eyes as he thought about the scars...and what it may mean that she continued to suffer so long after her escape from slavery...

Well. I helped your friend. Uriel thought back proudly, making his way over to Arsenic before sitting down beside the elf, still believing he had done his rescuer a favor...

Vix cracked open one green eye, focusing first on Arsenic, then on Andruil. "'M alright. Just...tired," she murmured. Arsenic glanced up and gave the black dragon a nod, picking up a faint hum between the two dragons that signaled a mental conversation. Not wanting to intrude he kept his attention focused on his unrelated sister.
