My guys soon reach where the fortress WAS, and notice its absence.

Brumak rider 1: "What the blazes?!"

"Aw, what kind of bullsh*t is this?!"

I radio to UR.

"UR, this is G4E calling you. Do you know the coordinates of DM's fort?"

*A mighty screech sounds out, before what appears to be a larger version of Meta-Ridley sails by over G4E's forces, blue Phazon missiles crashing down around them as it passes*

*A compy falls from the roof and lands on Gira's head, hitting the phazon metroid with just enough force to knock it off the user. The ground near Shinobu and MR begins to crack open. I grab the radio off of my suit while flying*

Like hell I do! I don't care much, cause I just lost my base of operations here! Meet me at the safehouse if you can!

My black diablos and I move out of the way, but a Brumak rider is not so lucky.

"Call me back later, some rip-off of Gira's NPC attacked!"

Hordes of locust burst forth from the ground to aid us, firing on the augmented MR, Bruamks firing volleys of heat-seeking missiles at the cyborg, before two reavers burst forth to combat it in the air....

*Alpha Ridley is flying far too quickly to be shot by conventional weapons, but the missiles continue to track it. The creature spins around in mid-air, a glowing red beam of Phazon energy smashing into the missiles and blowing them out of the sky. A couple of them hit AR, but his Phazite armor absorbs the damage easily. Alpha Ridley turns to face the Reavers, screeching a challenge*

*Underneath my fortress, which is now far away from G4E's location, Jack watches the battle between Alpha Ridley and G4E's forces* "This field test is going all according to plan!"

The Reavers send forth two heat-seeknig missiels each before flying erratically and firign their chainguns....

My Black Diablos obviously wants to get into the fight, but, since it cannot fly, only can roar angrily at being cheated out of combat......

The Bruamks keep firing heat-seeknig missiles, now firing with their wrist mounted chainguns as well.

*Not wanting to deal with the distractions of the Brumaks while dealing with the Reavers, Alpha Ridley blasts the missiles out of the sky, making sure to aim the mouth ray at one of the Reavers in the process, then turns its attention on the Brumaks. Strafing the massive, sluggish beasts, AR continues to make bombing runs of the monsters with its Phazon missiles, beating them down heavily with each blast, the Phazon contained in just one explosion still enough to kill or mutate an unprotected human*

The Locust riders and their Brumaks, being born in an environment full of deadly imulsion, are able to resist to phazon, but are still nonetheless harmed by the force of the explosions. The reaver loses a tentacle form the shot, but manages to stay intact. The reavers and Burmaks continue firing at will, the beasts of war firing every missile they have....

The locust infantry takes cover in the sinkhole, seeing they will be of little use here....

Seeing that the dragon is being stubborn, I activate a small light on my wrist bracer, which flashes brightly...

In MHEW, the battle scarred Kushala Daora that UR had so mercilessly beaten awakens, the chip implanted in its head activating, before it heads towards my guys' location.....

*Alpha Ridley uses more missiles to intercept the enemy's, then fires his mouth ray at one of the Brumaks, blowing its head apart in a fury of heat, red Phazon, and explosive power. Two energy orbs fly from AR's heads as he does this, the orange Phazon spheres sailing at a second Brumak and exploding against its chest*

The Brumak who lost its head stumbles back and falls into the sinkhole. the other brumak roars in pain, the phazon causing harm to it, but some is absorbed into the beast. Suddenly, the Brumak begins to mutate, its body becoming akin to the lambent one at the end of GoW2, albeit very slowly.....

One of the reavers takes advantage of AR focusing on the two remaining Brumaks, wrapping its tentacles around its body and biting into its phazite armor....

The Kusha flies lazily towards the battle....

*The Reaver's jaws fail to crack the Phazite, damaging its own jaws and doing little else than to pissing AR off, who screeches and claws the Reaver's eyes with his clawed forelimbs, simultaneously firing his mouth ray at the mutating Brumak's skull*

*Ignores the compy on my head as I begin to kick the metroid again and again and again, preventing it from moving or turning intangible, thus allowing Kanna to destroy it with an icy sphere...*

Pant, pant, pant... Stupid Metroids!

Kanna: Just be thankful it's gone... Now, let's continue onward!

*The two of us head off toward the light, the compy still on my head...*

*Shinobu and MR, having now entered into a large room that's been cut in half by the wall, notice the ground cracking, before quickly moving away from it...*

The Reaver backs off, its riders firing a rocket at AR, while the mutating Brumak is burned by the shot but seems to keep mutating unphased.

"Umm.... Dia, I'd say we go in the sinkhole as well in case that guy explodes."

The Black Diablos nods and we both jump into the Sinkhole for cover....

The Kusha sees the battle by now, but does not seem to fly much faster....

*A chunk of rock soon falls through the floor, but other chunks quickly fly upards along with dust, hiding the arachnid warrior that bursts from the ground and screeches, calling it's comrades. The compy pants and rolls off Gira's head, getting up after a few moments of resting and runs after Kanna and the user...*

*A bright light appears behind G4E, a val'kyr rising out from below, but instead of a sword, it is carrying a pen and clipboard*

Val'kyr: Allied to the Master: y/n?

"That depends. What do I recieve in return?

.... just messing. Sure."

I think to myself, For now...

*The val'kyr marks something, before staring at G4E with a bored expression*

Val'kyr: Do remember that we own you. You can help on your own, or we'll make you help.

*The val'kyr disappears in another beam of light*

*Shinobu and MR Ready themselves as they manage to avoid the rock chunks, the Space Dragon's machine guns that the Webmaster gave to him long ago activate, the barrels spinning, but no ammo firing... just yet, while SHinobu draws out her sword once more...*

*Meanwhile, me, and Kanna enter into the our half of the room Shinobu and MR are in, thw wall blocking us off from them, though there's an exit for us to head out of. The two of us dash for it, only for three Hatcher Metroids to come flying at us...*

*AR spins around, letting the missiles collide with him, then fires his ray directly into the Reaver's face, before flying away, beginning another strafing run on the Brumaks. This time, his armored chest compartment opens and begins to glow while AR bombs the Brumaks with more and more missiles*

*The warrior bug climbs out of the tunnel exit and walks backwards, allowing other arachnids to come out, all of which move away from Shinobu and MR, but don't show any threating signs to provok a fight.

The compy keeps up after Gira and Kanna...*
