Tetto'eko followed his new companions, Mordecai now perched on his shoulder. "Good to finally have another reptile around," the little dragon said, eliciting a chuckle from Tetto'eko...

Up 3 floors from where the guards were was the Church Sanctuary. It ws a large, naval-shaped room, with numerous candles lined up on each side of the room. The pillars in the Sanctuary, 3 on each side of the room, were made from carved marble, and behind them were the stain-glass windows, all of which depicted various Bible figures and saints. At the head of the Sanctuary was the altar, which was a large, golden box, graven with various jewels from all over Germania. ontop of the box was a white cloth, and ontop of that was a 5-foot structure, in the shape of a cross. Behind the altar was a final stain-glass window, one with the image of Mary engraved on it. Before the altar were several-dozon rows of pews, all of them made from fine oak now rare in Germania. Inside the room, numerous fragrances filled the space, giving off an odd and wonderful array of scents. All in all, the room was spectacular, and the finest sanctuary in all Germania.

Walking down one of the isles between the pews was Dione. The girl moved sluggishly toward the doors that marked the entrance into the Sanctuary. She had on the intricate robes and clothes of a Pope, but her head sagged down low, and her feet scrapped against the floor in her sandals.

"FInally... I can just get back to bed... " Dione murmured to herself, before she looked up at the high ceiling, a good 20 feet above her head. "Indulgences, Transubstantiation, Tridentine Mass... I don't get any of this... My head hurts from trying to figure this complex thing out... WHY!? WHY MUST I HAVE TO DO THIS?!?!" The girl wailed out as she neared the door. She hated this Pope Training... couldn't it be more simpler than this? Her day already was reaking of irritation... could it get any worse?

The dragon's thoughts hit a mental wall, blocking any contact with the armored being's mind. It, however pressed into the exile's mind, voice starting to leak into the confines of his thought. They spoke in an underlying mutter at first, a few of the voices growing louder and louder but what they said exactly was a jumbled mess of sound, incomprehendable. Then the screams started, echoing through out the scholar's head... and all the while Desrium was unaware of it all. He was too busy looking back and forth at the tree tops below, taking in the sight with bewilderment. He could see the expanse of green for miles around, and he thought about what wonders he could see from the sky. His gauntleted hands held on with a vice grip as he prepared for the flight...he had seen how fast his friend could go before....

Immanis growls menacingly from the punch, restraining his feelings, before grabbing kiara's arm and flinging her onto the ground. He then stomps toward her, cracknig his knuckles.

"Are you ready to submit yet?"

The assassin got up while saying, "not by a long-shot," and then rushed forward in a zig-zag pattern, before sending a quick kick to Immanis' hip as she passed by...

Immanis smiles. "Good- for there is much potential within you that I must put to the test." The kick makes Immanis flinch, but he recovers and rushes towards the demoness like a football player, shoulders lowered to ram....

Kiara charged Immanis head-on, jumped over him at the last moment, flipped through the air once and landed on his back. The demoness quickly began hitting him with a mix of kicks and punches, followed by leaping off of him...

Immanis falls to the floor before pushing himself back up. Instead of going for his usual strategy though, he lowers his form again, gesturing for Kiara to attack...

Kiara saw through Immanis' plan, nodded slightly then charged forward, as if falling for the man's gesture...

Immanis waits until she makes the first strike. He'd been training long enough to guess what her plan is....

The assassin, now close to Immanis, made a mock lunge towards him, spun to the right instead and quickly sent a kick at his flank...

Immanis was ready for the kick, and quickly grabs her leg and slams her to the ground. He puts his foot on her chest to keep her from moving. "Well played, miss."

Kiara simply grunted before driving a fist into Immanis' knee, hissing as she attempted to get the man off of her...

Immanis' knee spasms from the hit, causing him to fall to the side of Kiara...

Kiara reacted quickly, throwing herself up from the ground and put her foot on Immanis' chest, putting a load of pressure on him to keep him down. She uses her other to hold him down by the neck, but doesn't put nearly as much pressure on his throat just to allow him to breath...

Immanis grunts before gripping her leg self-defense style and flipping himself back on top. He promptly puts her in a chokehold, making sure to keep his huge bicep from snapping her neck. "Very clever move you had there. Now, let's see if you can get out of this..." His constant gauging of Kiara's strength, and her surprising endurance will make it easier for Immanis to see what areas they need to focus on.....

Kiara quickly sends a blow to Immanis' hip, before sending another kick to his stomach...

Immanis loosens his grip, but does not completely reliquish it. However, it was enough that, with enough strength, she can break free...

Kiara raised an arm and drove her elbow into Immanis' arm with a quick, yet powerful blow a moment after dealing the two kicks to him...

Immanis grunts, relinquishes his grip, and backs up a few feet. He then claps briefly. "Good, good! I am proud to say that you are the first to not surrender in a sparring match with me. However, there are some things that we still must train upon...."
