as the Were curled up, Shiryaz hopped down from his branch, gliding down through the trees, from branch to branch, finally landing on the ground, nudging Riva with his beak, chirping curiously...

As Septimus neared the water's surface he levelled out, eyes scanning the river intensely as he shot over it, claws slicing through the water before clamping down, two large fish being caught in his claws as he ascended, his eyes glowing as the fish seemed to float from his claws to the satchel, the Dragon slanting, banking to turn around for another pass, the deeper part of the river where he was targeting having a more abundant supply of fish than elsewhere...

'Then we should probably get going. We've burned too much daylight as it is,' Arsenic said, pulling back mentally. Vix murmured in agreement, adding almost to herself, "I hope the villagers are doing alright. And the assassins."

Glancing off the side of his draconic companion, Desrium saw the dark shapes zipping around beneath the waves, their forms distorted by the wake of Septimus' claws. The draft that followed the dragon forced the water away, making a V shaped depression on the surface of the river, the edges defined by a line of white froth. "Well done" He thought as Septimus snatched up the fish from the waves, though didnt bother saying it out loud. Aside from the fact his voice would have been drowned out by the rushing air, he thought the dragon was still sour over the previous happening. The armored being decided to stay silent for the time being, keeping his grip and his body low, letting Septimus focus on his flying.

Immanis soon reaches a flight of stairs, gesturing for Kiara to head up. "The dorms are up here and to the right. You may rest there."

The assassin nodded, walked up the stairs after reaching them, and headed to the right once she got to the top. She was soon laying down on a bunk a few seconds later, and was sound asleep moments after that...

Immanis soon heads out, and salutes to the other trainees. He soon returns towards the palace....

Riva peeked out from under her arm at the falcon. She thought that bird was supposed to find her and alert the others, but she was ver confused about this bird's real intent. Now even more curious, she peeked out a little bit behind the tree, then looked at the falcon again. What would the other's do if they found her anyway?

the bird hopped, beating his wings until he landed on the girl's shoulder heavily, craning his neck and peaking through the gap between her arms, looking her in the eye with that piercing golden gaze, as if looking into her soul...

"Well, I was curious about the young lady sitting around in the forest following travellers" mumbled Andruil lowly, before shrugging. "Eh. no matter. Plenty of other oddities to meet along the way!" he added cheerfully as he continued on, letting Vix and Arsenic just catch a glimpse of a sly smirk as he continued...

several more passes yielded Septimus with a satisfactory amount of fish for whatever direction they went next. as he banked away from the river and headed for the edge of the forest, he began to descend, deciding that walking on the ground would give him more time to speak with Desrium, to find out more about the strange being...

Riva moved her head out from underneath her arms and looked at the bird. "Why don't you follow your master?" she asked it. But her hand came up and she stroked the falcon's head with two fingers. "You aren't threatened at all by me?" she asked. "You know if you were an enemy I would've easily killed you." She didn't even know if the bird understood her, but she was taught that all animals understand you in other ways than word of mouth. "You can go on, I won't be far behind," she said and bounced her shoulder a bit. For compensation for her strange behavior, she reached into her pouch and offered the falcon a small piece of fish.

As the ground neared and Septimus slowed, Desrium lifted himself into a sitting position, staring off into the forest. It looked so different from above. The trees were packed together and their branches winded about overhead, the leaves shunning the light of the sun. In the air, however, everything was bright, clear and the passing was easy. Despite the setback of the experiance, however, Desrium now knew he could handle the forces that came with flying with the draconic scholar.

the Gryphon Hawk's gaze became harsh and threatening as she suggested that she could've killed him, feathers fluffing as the bird opened his beak, as if on the verge of letting out a screech or call...

Septimus soon touched down, his wings beating gently just before landing as he slowed from a run to a walk, furling his wings tightly to his sides, the two satchels out of sight to the average bystander due to the massive wings. "Tell me of your past, Desrium" rumbled the Dragon, his tone a lot less aggressive than it was earlier, having had time to calm down...

Desrium shifted a leg over the dragon's back and then dropped down to the ground with a dull thump, his sabatons flattening the grass underfoot. He began to walk beside the dragon, staring ahead into the forest. "I do not see how my past has any part in this matter" Desrium said flatly. "If you would be so kind, could you return my sword?" He asked shortly afterward. His blade was his only possesion when he appeared on the beach, tossed onto land by an angry sea. He didnt like having it taken from him.

Septimus' eyes narrowed at the being. "If you will tell me your past, I will give you the blade" he rumbled calmly, taking a neutral tone, deciding to treat it like a transaction. a trade...

The grey armored figure stared ridgidly ahead for several moments, jaws clenched shut. The stray rays of sun hitting his helm ran across the metallic fangs. He moved his fingers, curling them into fists and and uncurling them as he walked, deep in thought, which no other action betrayed. "Then you might as well be asking me for money" Desrium said blatantly, not looking to Septimus. "For I have no past, just as I dont have any money"

"How can you have no past? Anything that exists for any period of time has a history. What's the first thing you remember?" responded Septimus calmly, continuing to walk, his pace slow to allow Desrium to remain at his side. though there was no hint to it, the Dragon was mentally weighing his options, considering the option of knocking out the being and leaving it here, travelling on his own. Liabilities like this didn't sit well with the Exile, who had survived as long as he had through a combination of respect, vigilance and a very considerable amount of caution in his actions. This would not be the first time he would have abandoned a potential travel partner under suspicion of potential danger...

"Being tossed about in the water. Not long after, waves were crashing onto my back as I stared down at the ground...and the thirst" Desrium replied, his voice unchanging. He did not like looking back at that event. The ordeal left him drained, barely able to get to his feet and stagger away from the terrible waves that clawed at the shore, billowing with white foam. He turned his thoughts from the subject to something of more pressing issue: his contact with the former entity that resided within his mind. It was long gone now, but he was still confused about it. Just what did it mean when it said it created him? He decided to keep that secret to himself, however. He didnt know much about himself and wanted to have his own answers, before telling anyone else anything about the encounter...

Riva shrunk away for a second. She raised a finger to her lips. "Sssshhh," she tried to shush the bird. "I didn't mean to offend." She bounced her shoulder again. "Go on and follow them." She just wanted the bird to leave now, if it was going to cause more trouble for her she didn't want it around.

Dione, knowing better than to try and struggle out of this one, simply assigned her self to her fate as she felt the stairs give way to more level ground. Before she knew it, she was thrusted down onto something... soft. It felt like... a chair. Suddenly, light flooded into her eyes as the blind around her face was torn off. She blinked, confused, as slowly, she could see around her. The first thing she noticed, due to her head being turned to the right when she could finally see, was that a large, burly guard, one of the two guards that normally guarded the front entrance to the castle, to be exact, was standing beside her. She tried to move her hands, but the rope was still tied around them, and her hands had been placed so that they were behind the chair seat.

"Dione." A voice, one that she knew only too well, echoed softly into her ears. She turned, seeing Trajan sitting on the other side of the dining room table. The emperor's face was as if it were cast in stone. He seemed to look... angry.. or maybe sad about something. Whatever it was, Dione didn't know... But she would soon find out.

"Before you start asking why you've been blinded, dragged down here, and are before me right now, I have a serious question to ask you, young lady." Trajan said. The man's voice, normally filled with joy, was dead serious, and lacked any noticeable emotion. Something was definitely going on...

Arsenic let out a faint mental sound that could've been either a hum or a grunt. Vix gave him a sympathetic look, understanding his urgency all too well. Don't be like that, she thought to him. He returned her steady green gaze with pale lavender eyes tinged with faint desperation. 'I just want to get there and back as quickly as we can,' he said, keeping his mental voice ranged so only Vix and Andruil could hear him. 'The guild lost so many members...even with those soldiers there, I can't help but worry the village will be attacked again before we return.'

Icy wind howled past and buffeted Khorne's scaly visage, as he bellowed across the mountains, announcing his presence. He then yells to his mate:

"Any luck finding something on your side, Hraesvelgr?"

High in the frozen wastes of the north, the oni Ugaki carves away at the meat he had harvested from his recent kill. Soon after finishing cooking one peice, he takes it off with masterful speed before placing the next hunk of meat on the spit's scewer. The warm fire kept the oni active, and the delicious taste of Frost Troll meat made him calm and placid. However, in his heart, he longed to see the world....
