*The Denizens at close range crawl over the Elites, zapping them at point-blank range, the sheer amount of lasers quickly overloading the shields of even higher-ranking Sangheili and obliterating them*

*The elites and I hit the denizens far too quickly for most of them to tackle us at close-quarters, which gives us a huge advantage... just as a friendly scarab marches into the scene and bombards the ground where the denizens were...*

*the line Mara is on suddenly cuts, as a sigh is heard on the other end of the line, the Webmaster's familiar voice replacing the creaky, raspy one from earlier*

*On a small table in a seemingly endless white dimension, devoid of shadows, a spinning diamond-shaped transparent container rotates, a Denizen frozen in time and space within, the Webmaster examining the creature, dealing with Mara, the microphone and speakers that should usually be used to communicate being absent*

*Mara's face grows cold,sweat running down her forehead, her eyes incredibly wide with fear, the demon, though not having heard the voice before, completely recognizing it...*

*Turns around, one eye twitching from realizing that none omy attacks can do jack squat to the Denizens, before snapping out of it, immediately firing more sphees at them, the spheres exploding within their ranks...*

*The beam finally fades, as does the glow around Beryl, the raptor now having updated armor covering him, the armor flexible, and lightweight, allowing for maximum movement, a mini-gun also attached to Beryl's back, the mini-gun having infinite ammo, but able to shoot at 300 rounds per post, the raptor also now hrboring an electrical whip built into his right hand, the whip able to be extended out at amy moment...*

*a high frequency pulse is sent through the Denizen in the Stasis Cube, testing it's effect on the creature*

*The Denizens continue to fire on UR's forces, as well as his allies, some focused laser fire blowing apart the autocannons. The Denizen hit by the high-frequency pulse seems dizzy from the effect, but nothing else*

*Shocked by the sudden appearance of the dragon, I stagger in my attempt to follow DM, Switch catching me by the arm before I fall and pulling me behind the machine, crouching down. Her cannon swivels again to point forward, the Lili not daring to put it away yet, as it might be needed at a split-second's notice.*

Mutters in nearly a whisper: This is going swimmingly so far... Have an escape plan worked out yet? One that you're sure will work?

*Beryl looks at his armor-covered arm, turning his hand over to see the partly concealed whip, before glancing over his shoulder at the mini-gun.*

Beryl: That's quite an upgrade... It'll be nice to have a built-in gun nobody can take away... Switchblade has the same sort of thing in her robot body. If... when I get out of here, I'm sure these will be useful, especially if I can get my claws on those Denizens in a fair fight...

*Sy walks back to the control room to tell the team her new plan while the sauro waits outside the small room. She comes out carrying the glowing platform, somehow removed from the main computer, and sets it down on the ground.*

Sy: Just one toe on that is all we'll need. Picked out the kind of plane you want?

Hurricane: I guess if it has to be anything, I'll pick... the ERJ-140.

*Derek inputs data into the computer, and Tobias types a command into the remote transporter.*

Tobias: One Embraer Regional Jet coming right up.

Derek: Whoa, good thing we've got a big hangar. By my calculations, an ERJ/Saurophaganax combo is going to be about sixty-six feet long and weigh eleven tons. It looks like the program will also integrate the armor right into the body. The computer's ready when you are, Hurricane.

Hurricane: As ready as I'll ever be... *He rests a foot on the glowing panel as the circle recloses and a mass of energy swirls inside, soon condensing into a white and red regional airliner.*

Derek: Initiating sequence in three, two, one...

*Alpha Ridley screeches angrily, turned in the direction the group had ran off to* I'm working on it, alright? There's got to be SOMETHING here we can use... *I tap a few buttons on the console of the machine and stare at the readout* Transmogrifier? *The screen shows a diagram, showing arrows pointing from the image of a Denizen to a picture of Meta Ridley, then a second arrow, intersecting a picture of Phazon, leads to the new creature: Alpha Ridley* So that's how Jack got his hands on that thing... *I quickly look around, spotting another machine in the distance: a laser, pointing from the ceiling at a slight angle* Hey, I recognize that! That's a growth ray! Alright, I have an idea. Switchblade, get to that machine. Maybe we can get your robot body big enough to deal with Alpha Ridley. Try to distract him, and I'll look up how to hurt him. *I begin furiously tapping away at the console, trying to ignore the sporadic laser blasts aimed in my direction*

*A couple of the compies pounce onto the panel, before pecking away feriously at Hurricane's foot, while the other three watch, hissing and chirping. Me and my elites keep attacking the denizens, swatting them away and hitting them with plasma grenades...*

OK....sonic blast: stuns. very little effect otherwise. commencing test two...

*next, a bolt of electricity shoots through the stasis cube*

*The electric shock makes the Denizen jerk and shudder, stunning it like the high frequency pulse did. The Denizen army fires on UR's troops from a distance, gradually whittling them down with the barrage of laser fire*

*The elites keep popping up from the spawners, now wielding ranged weaponry like plasma rifles, repeaters, concussion rifles, focus rifles and plasma launchers, though they still appear in mostly regular armor, which minors wear, besides the councilors, before firing at the denizens as the last of the charging elites fall, excluding me...*

stuns...test 3: commencing...

*stasis cube suddenly is engulfed in black flames, the temperature within exceeding 5000 degrees C*

*Mara, realizing that she better act fast, stops stammering out of fear, trying to keep as calm and controlled as possible, before delivering her request...*

Mara: There is a special order that I would like for you to send over here... One "TALOS"... Payment for delivering this order will be sent to you once I recieve it...

*Tsukoyami fully vanishes, having left the realm to return to his own realm... but with a few parting words to Beryl.*

Tsukoyami: May you use your weapons widely, Beryl...

*Keeps on launching blasts at the Denizens, I by now getting very, VERY annoyed by this...

*The ranged weapons make little difference in scattering the Denizens, and the lower-ranking Elites swiftly fall*

*The Denizen struggles feebly, and by the time the flames dissipate, the creature appears incapacitated, though still not dead*

Sy: HOLD IT!

Derek: What's wrong? *Pauses with his finger over the button, looking around at the raptor. The compies attacking Hurricane are lifted away by an unseen force, the others also immobilized by the raptor's telekenetic powers.*

Sy: Hurricane almost got his DNA mixed up with compy genes. That wouldn't have been good... I don't know how they got in, but now that they're here, they can be our next volunters...

*She levetates each compy into the holding case one by one and releases her telekenetic grip on them.*

Sy: We're clear, Derek...

*Derek turns back to the computer and initiates the sequence...*

*Beryl watches as the being disappears, now alone in the dark dimension, wondering when and how he will eventually get out.*

*Switch moves slowly around to the side of the machine, pausing to glance at the growth ray, then abruptly bolts from cover, in plain view of the huge dragon...*

*Alpha Ridley screeches and fires his mouth ray, the orange beam flashing overhead and smashing into the far wall*

*I stomp a denizen into the ground multiple times, shouting something in between pauses. The elites find cover and fire at the denizens some more, a few grenades, fuel rod rounds and other explosives converging on their positions. The lead compy squeaks in surprise, before ramming the walls of the case it was in, the others follow in suite*

Why... won't... you... DIE?!?!
