The beach became a battlefield as both Blight and Kumongua slammed into each other. The force of both titans caused them to stagger back abit. Kumongua, however, was quicker to react. The large spider began to spit out a fine, silvery webbing from its mouth upon Blight. The dragon snarled in rage, lightning arcing from its wings. The electricity lit up the webbing, causing it to burn. Quick to prevent itself from catching on fire, Kmongua cut off the line, before he once again sank down low, his spindley legs being used as springs to ready him for a jump. Not ready to allow that to happen. Blight's mouth opened up, allowing a stream of fire to shoot out right for the spider...

Kori Kahn seemed quite placid as he zoomed across the land, simply looking at all the land formations and such, and studying the wildlife from the air. He also kept his ears alert for possible prey: this place could be a valuable area to make himself at home in in the future...

Infernus soon reaches the bowels of the volcano. He lets out a loud yawn before stomping into the magma flow. Ingesting some of the lava, the saurian beast snorts before submerging himself within Krakatoa and falling asleep again...

At this point, 'Hunter' was back on land, digging into the Earth, creating a burrow for himself. He had gone to the mainland and let the Serag go, but many stayed, either acting as food for the serpentine-alien, or helped dig with him...

far above the earth, unresting eyes watched warily, using not only the natural eyes of the Dragon, but the numerous satellites formerly under DHARMA's control, to help him monitor events, as meanwhile, he scanned through the various recorded footage on the internet to mark potential targets...

The kryll workers begin to create new catacombs for the young larvae kryll to live in, making sure to have plenty of food for them to eat...

However, Kumongua was too quick, for he sprang up into the air just before the flames could reach him. The spider landed behind Blight, before whirling around... only to be meet with a fireball to the face from the dragon. Blight snarled as Kumongua thrashed around in the flames. Pain was washing all over the Spinder as he felt his exoskeleton light in fire. It burned, horribly! Ready to finish the fight, Blight charged at the spider, ready to impale him... but as he charged, the ground began to crack and shake, throwing Blight's charge off aim, and sending Kumongua into the sea. This allowed the spider to douse the flames that were all over him... But the earth continued to quake, large fissures tearing up out of the ground, causing buildings by the beach to be swallowed up. Something, it seemed, was appraoching from beneath them...

"Not always just for the ones who come here...sometimes I do a little hunting of my own." Talon replied vaguely, smirking.

After waiting without movement for quite a while, the beast struck, two of its long limbs pushing it forward, while the other two were raised above its head, aiming both sharp limbs at the four legged monster's head...

"Is that so?" Jackson asked with a chuckle. "You got rooms for mounting their heads after you get done with them?"

High in the sky, near the border of New York, a great white form can be seen flying overhead. A great sonic boom can be heard as the form passes overhead, and icy crystals can be seen raining down form the heavens shortly afterwards. Kori Kahn kept flying, soon seeing residential areas, but paying little heed to them save for a passing glance....

All at once, the city's defenses came to life, large turrets mounted on the fortified wall spraying the sky with high velocity bullets with deep, resounding booms akin to cannon fire. The anti-monster shells slammed into the dragon's hide and wings, tearing through the membrane like paper. After the battle that occurred not too long ago around the metropolis, the area was on high alert and on the offensive. Buildings were still residing underneath the city with an armored cover, and the streets were devoid of civilians.

Kori Kahn roars in pain and quickly flies up higher into the sky and turning away from the location of the cannon fire. He can feel the membranes ripping open wider from the blasts.... he will need to land soon. Hopefully he can get away from whatever had fired upon him....

Anguirus snorted and twisted in his sleep at that very moment, his head tilting to the side. As luck would have it, the attacker's limbs smashed into the dirt instead of its intended prey, and the noise made Anguirus snap to life. Eyes blinking open, the monster quickly got to his feet, howling in rage at this intrusion...

Blight tried to keep his balance, butwith the earth shaking and tearing, that was proving to be a near impossible task. He had no other choice but to take to the air and leave this area... He was going to head further north, and hopefully find an actual place to rest. As the dragon took to the skies and flew north, toward Washington, he failed to notice Kumongua also swimming north. The spider, having been hurled into the ocean, was heading after Blight, for revenge. To his mind, Blight was the cause of his home being consumed by the earth... though the true cause was now emerging from the ground. As both monsters went farther and farther away from the beach, lava spires flew up out of the ground, heading some thousands of feet up in the sky. The air began to grow heavy with ash, and magma spilled all over the ground. titanic explosions began to rock the area, creating huge clouds of smoke that blanketed the area....

As Blight few from the area, a monstrous roar tore through the air from behind him, a roar that seemed to blast across the entire continent. Blight's eyes widened as he swerved his head backward, toward the erupting beach... It was a roar that seemed to signal the end of days... a roar that challenged the strongest of this world... a roar... from a demon. As blight squinted his eyes, he could have sworn he could see a massive outline in the smoke...

Raptoran snorted in irritation, having searched Hawaii thoroughly since he had arrived. Other than more humans, which barely warranted a glance from the monster by this point, there was nothing of any significance here either. Diving back into the ocean, Raptoran set out for the mainland, searching for better prey...

"Have you seen these things? Their heads alone would take up half the facility." Talon responded, only partly joking...

As the monster roared, two scythe-like limbs struck across its face before retracting back to the creature's body, the attack similar to a preying mantis attacking another insect...

"Good point" Jackson said with a short laugh, sighing afterwards. "Damn, it must feel good giving those ******* a good asskicking on behalf of humanity. Wish I could do something like that"

"I wish you could too. Large variety here, even among those that are working. But there's only one me, which means a lot of wasted machinery." Talon said thoughtfully, staring off into the rest of the mech bay.

Anguirus jumped back in response, the blows fast enough to hit, but the cuts weren't particularly deep. With a quick intake of breath, the armadillo-like monster unleashed a hurried Sonic Roar on the attacker. It wouldn't be particularly powerful, but at this range it didn't need to be...

Jackson broke off into laughter at that. "Oh yeah, I'd love to hop into a giant and take it for a spin" He said in between breaths. "If I could pilot the damn thing!" He added a few seconds later, almost breathless at the notion. How could some common man ever hope to operate such complex machines?

As Blight watched as he flew away, the massive... thing in the cloud of ash and smoke simply stood there, a pair of red, burning eyes glaring out at him from within. A horrible chill shot down the dragon's spine, despite the fact that the massive eruption going on would prevent any chill in the air. Blight, now wanting to be anywhere near the thing, flew off as fast as he could, heading north, still unaware of Kumongua pursuiting after him... just what was it with this strange planet, anyway?
