And if I recall correctly, one wouldn't have to deal with plasma in space unless they dive into the lower regions of the sun. What he should be more worried about is the intense radiation he would be exposing himself to, not plasma.
I'm saying the properties of plasma, both in the real world and in the Godzilla universe, are too different to be classified as thermal energy. Its like saying a monster that lives in water and shoots water from its mouth won't be gutted by an icicle the size of its arm.
again, you're missing the point. Plasma =/= thermal energy. that, I agree with. we both know that. but that does NOT mean that plasma does not have heat. on the contrary, it is the hottest state of matter, with even the so called 'cold plasma' often reaching well into the several thousand degree Kelvin range, with 'hot plasma' reaching far beyond that. thermal energy = heat. plasma contains heat. therefore, it is a source of thermal energy. it is NOT thermal energy in and of itself, but it IS a source for it, because to reach the material state of plasma, you have to reach incredibly high temperatures. if plasma is found anywhere, especially as a weapon in GEW of all places, it will undoubtedly be at a very high temperature.
Horus would not be severely influenced by high temperatures. in addition to initially being a creature that fed off thermal and solar energy overall, after the transformation, artificial elements even more durable than his own significantly capable hide were added. Note that the highest temperature ever recorded, was generated artificially. it was a man-made plasma experiment that reached 3.6
billion degrees F, or 2
billion degrees Kelvin. hotter than the interior of the sun (the core of the Sun is, to our best estimates, 15.6
million degrees Kelvin.) by a LONG shot. and this is the real world, minus the Godzilla universe's Space Titanium. If the sun's heat was enough to damage Horus, who is a solar and thermal energy-based creature that is basically covered in Space Titanium, then chances are that experiment would've melted a massive portion of the earth and sparked a 2012 Global Destruction event

. the alternative explanation is that Space Titanium is
pathetic compared to what we have available in the real world.
I'll leave that fact for you to consider.
