The scroll is a peice of simple parchment, nothing more, nothing less. Inside was a letter, written in blood and in the Black speech. Inside, this is written:

Greetings, Akuro. My name is Burzum, chief of the Olog-Hai and leader of the Cult of Morannon. My agents have been.... monitoring you... for many moons past. It may come to a shock to you (I know this is a fact) due to the general secrecy of your species, but your actions have caught my interest. I come with an offering: my cult has lost its ambition to conquer, for they lack the faith in a being beyond their comprehension, like our former lord, Sauron. I cannot disclose the information upon this scroll, but we both seek somethnig that I have no doubt you would enjoy.

"I have been looking for them, yet have never really talked about them ever since," the assassin responded saddenly, while the prince said, "I didn't really know much about the incident at the time other than for they were just missing, yet as me and Kiara came closer to each other, I learned of what happened. She told me, that at the age of two, her father, mother and brother went out into the field of their farming land one day, she had heard screams, and then silence. She doesn't know what happened to any of them when they were in the fields that day, but did know that they were gone for good as time passed by for her."

Saurgu seperates from the two as they reach the mountains, heading for her own home...

"SHOOT IT! SHOOT THE BLASTED THING!" yelled the Commander of the guard as the monstrosity trudged right through the village's walls, volleys of arrows being fired from repeating crossbows in the hands of over a dozen men in the village square, as the women and children were rushed to safety, the Village Elders organising their retreat to the large Council Assembly building in the centre of the village, that posed as a Town Hall of sorts, the two floor high wooden building being the most sturdy thing in the village, and the only safe haven they could reach without being scattered in the forest. half a dozen guards rushed at the massive beast, terrified but having no choice, trying desperately to protect their family and friends in the village centre...

"Probably a good idea, to be honest" growled Septimus as he drifted amidst the scattered clouds, gliding calmly in the moonlight, soothed by it's presence...

on the opposite side of Tristan, a roar tore out as the black stallion, now horribly deformed, leapt into the air, whip-like, blade-tipped tails flailing behind it as it's semi-skeletal appearance streaked out of the streets and into the air, ragged, visibly torn wing membranes spread between long, spike like wing bones, the horse' skull having elongated into something somewhere between that of a horse and that of a wolf, as Kristov pressed on, putting as much distance between himself and the city as possible, relying on the early warning and the sheer size of the Germanian capital to give him an edge...

"By Greshlynk, that is absolutely horrible..... you are blessed that someone came to aid you."

Sarah keeps holding on, barely concious by now....

"Yes" Was all Desrium had to say to that, carefully swinging one leg over Septimus' back so that his entire body was facing the dragon's right. He took a moment to look at the silver mist that were the night time clouds as he passed them by before working his hands onto the strap of the satchel, securing a good grip on it. Afterwards he swung himself underneath the Huelin's thumping wings, rappelling down his side to the satchel where he used one hand to undo the fastening and raise the flap. Quickly, Desrium dropped into the bag, the flap fluttering in the wind...

Chromatus' red head looked at the assembled humans, most of the arrows unable to pierce his thick scales, and those that did did not pierce deep. The hybrid was confused at the sudden aggression, and decided the only way to get it to stop was to destroy those capable of harming him. Maw opening, the red head spewed a stream of scorching flames at the attackers, igniting a few of the buildings in the process...

The Nethrezim, still pouring into the city from one section, were too distant to see the man departing the city...

The guards and soldiers, realizing thei rnumbers were being depleaed, put their shields to use. THey formed a near inpenetrable wall, with openings just large enough to fire their arrows and stab their swords out theough. While some of the shields were aimed at the front, several others were made around the sides, and the top of the armed forces group, to act as protection. Mor eand more arrows from the archers were fired out, striking any Nethrezim that came close. The torch users had their torces set outside of the massive wall of shields, to draw in the creatures into firing range...

Thems, observing the massacre, began to slither over the wall and into the city. This was her home, and had been for 15 years. She wasn't about to let it, and thehumans inside, be slaughtered by these creatures... especially her deceased Master's daughter... The giant 8-headed serpent inhaled deeply, before letting out a deafening, ear-splittig bellow, one that caused the soldiers and guards to grab at their ears in pain...

Akuro read the scroll, before rolling it back up and picking it up with his mouth. Beads of sweat ran down the Kitsune's face. He had been monitered for weeks, if not months. Damnit. If only he had just used a human vessel during the last year , instead of searching for a more powerful one... No matter. The wolf-like demon dashed off North, his movement like lightning. He zig-zagged back and forth between the trees, his speed incredibly fast. This "Cult of Morannon" intrested him... Perhaps... he could find a vessel there, or maybe even another pawn to use... He already had two pawns, but a third would be most appreciated...

As the two girls enjoyed their time in the snow, a large snowball smashed into Dione's face, knocking her off of Lamia. The girl landed hard in the snow, her clothing quickly getting wet. " DIONE!" Lamia criedas she tuned to help her up, but as Dione watched, a rough hand grabbed Lamia by the shoulder and pushed her aside. Standing aboe Dione was an angry-looknig boy of about 18, his face covered in warts and zits, and most of his teeth missing. His face and arms were also covered in countless bruises and cuts, many of them recent. Dione had heard about this boy. He was the leader of a gang of hostile teenagers that caused trouble all over Germania. In the last few months, there had been repots of missing cattle, vandalized houses, beaten church officials, and several murders of servants of the Emperor, all done by this boy and his gang...

Unaffected by the screech, the Nethrezim, instead, capitalized on it, brutally maiming any of the soldiers that lowered their defenses to protect their ears, opening holes in the wall of shields. Although the soldiers had swords, the nightmarish creatures weren't deterred by any injuries they suffered, instead fighting until their last breath, cutting a swath into the defense before the soldiers could reform the lines, their close proximity to the humans making it difficult for the archers to shoot without harming their allies...

Ikargu soon lands at the entrance of his home, before lowering his body for Sarah so she could get off of him.

Kiara didn't seem to say anything more afterwards, as the prince in golden armor asked, "well, you want to get somewhere safe or stay here and talk for the night? I have to hurry and join the kingdom's army, as they are on their way to attack Draxon..."

The lands become drier where Akuro treaded, heat seeming to radiate from the very earth. The trees soon become sparce and charred, layers of ash covers the rocky ground, and smoke stretches across the horizon and the skies. The smell of sulfur filled the Kitsune's nostrils, with large deposits of stone and metal scattering the landscape. Holes were carved in the sides of some of the structures- probably due to miners that lived in the areas nearby. The flashes of ethereal radiance were the only sources of light during the evening, seemingly coming from a monstrously huge volcano off in the distance. If one looked at the base of the mountain, Black structures were visible...

Sarah slides off and yawns, soon heading in to get some shuteye...

"I'd rather find somewhere safe. I don't want to distract you from your mission."

Laura was well aware of their plans, but she was worried. Did they know that there was only one entrance into Freyr-Lunge, and the rest was surrounded by mountains?...

"Okay then, hop on!" The archer responded, with Kiara getting on the back of his horse and holding on. They waited for Laura, just hoping they weren't too far behind the army itself...

"Ok, let's go," the prince said, and the horses soon turned around, before galloping off towards the kingdom. They were going to be taken to the capital city of the kingdom rather than a town or village, just so they'd be in the safest place of the kingdom.

Ikargu turns himself around and sleeps at the entrance of the cave, slightly curled up...

Laura simply nods. She did not know WHAT to think. She has left the only place she ever knew, is heading off with a being she had barely met and known for maybe a day at the most, and now she is enthralled with an attempt to destroy her homeland! She was so confused.... and she had heard tales of the ocean, but has never seen it. Shei s curious to find out what it is...

The ranged fighters, having a safe distance between them and the beast, were afforded the benefit of time, most managing to take cover behind low walls and buildings. the melee fighters that were closing in on the beast weren't so lucky, several being burned by the jet of flames, being fried inside the very armour designed to protect them, screams of agony sounding out in the quiet village, as a volley of flaming arrows streaked out of the buildings on either side of the beast, aimed for it's stomach, with hopes of a more accurate blow. in front of the Council Assembly, the Council of Elders stood, as the final line of defense, should the Village Guards fail...

Arashi flew over the borders of Germania, drifting amidst the clouds effortlessly, his dark grey, rune-covered body standing out in the night sky, drawn by curiosity to the creatures whose blood he had found earlier. though he had absorbed a lot of knowledge directly through one of the creatures' blood, he still didn't have a full picture of what they were. the chance to find out was sufficient to draw him from his plans for a few hours. he was in no rush, afterall.....An immortal had all the time in the world...

The satchel closed over Desrium, keeping the insides safe from the wind outside, the bottom of the satchel morphing and dipping, it's strange, soft, fleshy, creamy texture absorbing the impact. since his last visit, things had been organised somewhat, jars and other fragile objects now kept in place on top of shelves by bands of the strange substance lining the insides of the satchel. the chained black chest for now was silent, though there was no doubt it'd likely start up again if given a hint that someone was there to hear it. the Maldevians slithered up the sides of the large jar they were kept in, some frost building on the bottom of the jar, having been collected at some point during Septimus' escape from the forest earlier, and now refusing to leave, the cause of it being that the satchel itself was responding to it's owner's wishes, giving the Maldevians an environment more similar to their own using whatever it could find to make use of, in this case, being the ice cold air from earlier and the water vapour in the surrounding environment. The books had been lined up more evenly than before, now looking legitimately like a library bookshelf, if not for the soft leather-like material the shelves were made of as opposed to the stone or wood shelves of libraries. in the darkness of the satchel, streaks had opened up along the walls, long vertical lines of white light illuminating the insides, though only generating enough light to make things visible...

The attacks soon caught the interest of the blue head, which breathed out swiftly, freezing the majority of the arrows on contact, causing them to plummet to the ground and shatter. The other heads continued to scent the air, directing the gargantuan creature forward, away from the defenders. The hybrid could sense a dragon nearby...instinctively it was drawn to these creatures, but it had no idea why, or to what purpose...

Desrium noted the strange contouring of the base of the bag, not thinking too much of it or the other changes within the satchel. He attributed them to Septimus, the dragon probably considering the small upset that happened after his first trip into the bag. He kept his slugs and other valuables at a safe distance, which was all for the best now that the armored being thought of it. Desrium moved over to the satchel's walls and detached his scabbard from his back, laying on down on the marshmallow like foundation beside him. He then braced back and became still, retiring for the night with his legs straight ahead of him and his arms resting at his sides. His crimson eyes continued to flare up within the bag however and even though he didn't notice it, his hunger had suddenly dissipated...
