The Dragon finally sighed, the girl floating into the air as he snapped the back end of the arrow off, tossing it aside, a short, narrow, focused stream of flames hitting the splintered tip, burning away the splinters as the Dragon did his best to keep from burning anything else. once he was sure the arrow was clean he gripped it from the head, pulling it out of the wound, the Dragon's eyes shimmering as streaks of white light swirled around the wound, flitting into the bleeding hole, passing over it, and even drifting back and forth under the skin, across the wound, as the flesh knitted itself back together, nerves being recovered as the Dragon struggled to heal the injury...
A few moments of effort saw the wound scabbed, the majority of the damage underneath healed, the Dragon panting tiredly. He hated using magic this complex. repairing damaged tissue was one of the most difficult kinds of magic out there, because of the fact he was basically giving life to dead tissue; something that required a lot of mana to achieve. but at last, the wound was mostly healed. the girl would survive, though the pain of having one's own flesh knit itself together was likely one she would not forget soon...
Meanwhile, the chained black chest that was now beneath Desrium began to rumble lowly, a demonic growl coming from within, the contents of the chest evidently not pleased with its situation...
Furax reared fearfully as the Wyvern emerged, throwing Vix off his back as he bolted into the forest, Andruil lunging out, catching Vix as she fell and setting her down on her feet, drawing his sword as the beast roared, the mostly black blade shimmering with white runes, though they had faded somewhat since earlier. the Wyvern was large...and undoubtedly dangerous....they'd need to be wary. one wrong move could see them killed...
The Stormweaver flew over Germania, the distant sounds of combat ringing out over a city in the distance. at this height, most creatures wouldn't see him amidst the clouds...which served the purpose of observing the source of his interest well...
"Ah yes, organised chaos. the sign of a clever but ever-busy mind. To the perpetrator, a carefully woven web of belongings and intrigue, but to the bystander? Madness!"
