Alecia's heartrate slowed down as she looked upon the beast in awe. What was happening to it? It apperead the winged reptile was glowing with runes. Confused, she looked up directly at the dragon, moonlight shineing across her blood caked face. She almost passed out again after hearing the mighty beast speak! After calming down a bit, she began to realize how heavy her blade felt in her hands. Slowly lowering the Katana untill it fell from her hands and hit the ground, throwing dust and pebbles into the air. She was exhausted, she hadn't slept comfortably in three days and had been running from her captors since. Alecia looked up at the ancient beast, and muttered, "My name is Alecia Darkmoon, I'm an, uhh, an.. oh, yes, I'm an assasin, well sort of, atleast I used to be.." Alecia's voice faded as she slowly stopped talking and looked down to her thigh where the arrow had been. There was only a large scab! What could have done this? Realizeing the dragon must have helped her, she looked up at the reptile looming over her and asked in a quite voice, "Did you... heal me?"

Thems looked off, snorting, before she began to swallow up what dead creatures there were in the area. These would fill her up for some time, and it was better than leaving the city unguarded...

Guame watched as Mara rose up from the shadows, the Half-demon chukling to heself. "And just when i thought I'd have my work cut out for me..." Mara said as she looked over to where the old woman lay. Guame eyed her suspiciously, before a sudden realization hit him. He thrusted his staff at Mara, the staff just inches from her face.

"I recognize your scent far too easilly...You're the demon that was watching the whole episode of Dione's punishment! What is it that your after here? Tell me, before I strip you of your powers..." Guame snapped, a single eye twitching in anger. Mara simply chuckled abit more, before pushing the staff away with her own snake-headed staff."

"I was simply passing through here when these creatures showed up, so I decided to sit back and relax" Mara lied, though Guame had no way of knowing that. "In all reality, armadillo, you better stay out of the way of my plans, or else a certain wolf will be enjoying you as roated meat." Mara burst out laughing as Guame's eyes widened with shock, horrified that this demon was aquainted with that old enmy of his, the one he had been seeking to destroy for all these years...

The old woman looked up after catching her breath, using what little light there was in the ravaged half of the city to survey the destruction. The defenders seemed to have lost more then the nocturnal creatures...said fact only convincing her further that revealing herself was the right thing to do. Getting back to her feet, the old woman watched over the city in silence, sensing that they were other dangers closing in on the city...

The chest in the satchel had begun to hiss irritably, as a low mumbling of what sounded like 'let me out' began to murmur barely audibly, the chest shaking in the satchel, though nothing but the rattling of the chains was heard, the lining of the satchel too soft to make much noise as the chest shook...

Arashi watched as the massive flash ignited the city, and saw the beasts retreating from it. They fear light came Gilgamesh's voice in the Dragon's mind, confirming what he had gathered earlier. the Dragon considered the situation the city was in. it had been attacked, and from what he could see from this distance told him the humans had retreated further into the city. that meant the actual location of the battle would be mostly deserted. he settled to go as far out of the city as the fight's victims could be found. whatever had caused that flash was of magical origin, as far as he could determine. there was no naturally produced explosion he knew of that could create such illumination, especially not white in colour. yellow, perhaps, if a large enough explosion was sparked. but pure white? no. this was a magical entity. but that question would have to wait. he wanted a body of one of these creatures of darkness....if nothing else, it would give him an appearance to connect to the incidents. the Dragon descended, the runes covering his body fading until they were almost the same colour as his natural skin, only the gleam of his eyes standing out in the darkness, his dark black and grey form almost completely hidden in the night sky...

"Well it hardly patched itself up now, did it?" growled Septimus with a chuckle. "Don't put too much stress on yourself for a while or you'll reopen the wound. And that will hurt.....a lot" added the Dragon as he reached a clawed hand forward, offering a hand shake despite the immense size difference between his clawed hand and her own...

As Thems swallowed up another dead creature, her sense of smell picked up ann intruder, but this wasn't one of the creatures that had attacked the city just now. it was... something else, as far as she could tell. The gigantic serpent whirled her 8 heads around, trying to locate the newcomer, but even with her nocturnal eyes, she was unable to find it, the unconcious body of a third Netherzim in one of her 8 mouths...

"I had a feeling Akuro was related to this event..." Guame spoke, his eyes locked onto the half-demon before him. He should have known that somehow, that damn Kitsune, the one he had been pursuiting all these years, had something to do with this attack...

:I'd hate to burst your bubble, armadillo, but neither Master Akruo or I have anything to do with this. As I already said, I was merely passing through. Also, Had this attack gone on any longer, I would have personally wiped out those creatures... The destruction of this city is my task, and I'm not going to let anyone else do it..." Mara retorted, her face still having a grin on it. "Now, I leave you with this warning, armadillo... If you value your life, and those around you, then leave this place now, or else-"

Guame had enough of it! The armadillo leapt back, but as he readied up a spell, Mara's entire body ingited on fire. The sudden brightness caused by the flames blinded Guame, giving Mara just enough time to sink back into the shadows. Guame rubbed his eyes, but when he could finally see, the half-demon was gone... And he was alone on the roof once more...

"Well, you have my thanks, and I'm in your debt, but I don't exactly know how to repay a dragon.." Said the young human, he voice still trembleing slightly form what she had just witnessed. "But I don't really plan on doing much fighting for a good amount of time, atleast untill this heals all the way." Alecia returned the gesture and akwardly put out her hand, not exactly sure what to do. After of moment of thinking, she grabbed on the the dragons talons and shook it firmly. "Now," muttered the assassin, "Could I ask you why exactly you saved a complete stranger?"

"Well I could hardly just fly past and leave you laying there. The smell of blood would've lured half a dozen different creatures, all looking for an easy meal, and with you laying there unconscious, you'd've made an easy meal for any of them. Not a pleasant way to spend your evening" growled the Dragon matter-of-factly, the runic patterns across his form seeming to pulse with energy...

The body structure of the Nethrezim made it almost impossible for them to be knocked out, considering the density of their skulls in relation to the size of their brain, the creature inside the Orochi's mouth long dead...

The others continued to dart through the thick jungle outside of Tristan, running instead of flying to try and use the shadows of the dense undergrowth to block out the light they were attempting to flee.

The sound of Chromatus' wings preceded him as he neared, the dragon within sight now. Dropping to the ground with an earth-shaking thud, the hybrid moved toward the distracted dragon on all fours, and even at that height, dwarfed the creature...

"Angry box" Desrium replied to the chest as it seemed to throw a tantrum. Its ominous noises and words did little to phase the armored being, who only approached the object. "Why are you angry, Angry box? Is it because you have no mouth to eat honey with?" He asked when he stopped less than a foot away from it.

"Well, you have my thanks dragon, if theres any way I can repay you, let me know." Alecia stopped and looked up at the stars, then continued, "If you don't mind me asking, where are you from? I mean you Don't meet dragons everyday."

The massive female Orochi kept swerving her ehads around, trying to locate the intruder, the dead creature still in it's mouth...

Guame smashed his fist into the roof in rage. Damn! He had let her escape! That damn light... Guame shook his head, before he looekd over to where the old woman was. That Half-demon could wait. Right now, he had to thank this newcomer for her help... and help her out, of course. Guame leapt off the roof and onto another one, leaping from rooftop to rooftop like a ninja to reach the far wall. He may have been old, but he was still fit...

Meanwhile the remaining guards and soldiers had all entered into the castle and told the much surprised Trajan of what happened. WHen they were finished, Trajan looekd at them, then out the window, then back at them. Why had this happened? People had died today, and his own forces hadn't been able to prevent this attack on the city. Granted, most of the forces were out guarding the other cities and town, and the Dragon Riders were still on patrol... but the fact still remained. Why had the capital, Tristan, been targeted by such strange creatures, when there were other, less guarded towns only a few miles away? It made no sense to him... none at all...

The old woman could sense someone approaching, and immediately created a mental disguise to hide her true nature. Keeping her knowledge of the being's approach to herself, the old woman continued to look out over the city...

Septimus was about to answer as the loud thump of the gargantuan beast's arrival shook him to his senses. the Dragon's pupils narrowing to thin black slits against the cyan iris, starkly contrasting against the black sclera, the Dragon gazing towards the source in alarm. "Alecia....just how big was your pursuer?" questioned the Dragon worriedly...

An angry rattle came from the chest as it shuddered violently, moving a few inches towards Desrium with what seemed like a perfect impression of an angry bear, angry mutterings of what sounded like 'freedom' and 'loose' barely audible amidst the cacophony of angry whispers and mutterings emerging from the chest...

As the Stormweaver descended, his eyes lay upon one of the corpses, dead and immobile just beyond the city walls, the Dragon diving down upon it, gripping the creature tightly in his powerful claws as his wings spread widely, Arashi wasting no time as he beat them powerfully, rocketing back up into the sky, almost in stride...

"I'm sorry to say Angry box, but your tactics won't change the matter. Besides, I couldn't give you honey even if I wanted to. I seem to lack a spoon and you still lack a mouth" Desrium said simply as he looked around the bag, finding no trace of the utensil. He looked back to the box and added "A pity. You seem to be in a bit of a bad mood"

Kiara soon opened the door of her home, and held it open for Laura. The only traces of light came from some lit candles in the middle of the room and elsewhere...

Laura enters Kiara's house, noting how dark it is, consdering how late it was in the day.

"You've been gone from your home for a long time, haven't you?" Laura asks.

"Quite some time, actually. I have someone who tends to the house once every week or two," Kiara responded, before heading in. She took an unlit torch from the wall, lit a match and soon enough, the room was enveloped in light. "The guest room is down the hallway to the left," the assassin continued on, pointing at the long hall to the right of them...

Alecia's heart felt like it almost stopped beating, fear gripped at her again. If something had scared this mighty dragon, he also had reason do be afraid. Very afraid. Alecia looked up at he dragon again, moonlight shineing off her crimson hair as she pulled her hood off, and replied weakly, "Well, that uhh, uhmm, tha-thaaat depends on wich one your talking about..."

Laura smiled. "Thanks for inviting me into your home," Laura said as she headed down the hall. "You know, you didn't need to do any of this for me. Yuo could've left me in Draxon. Why didn't you?'

"Well, I had wanted to get to know you better, maybe have a friend. I also knew that when the army would arrive, anyone with a weapon would be killed, including you. I don't always do this either," Kiara responded to Laura. 'I'm going to have to talk to the king tomorrow about the failure to assassinate Draco, and I'll probably be punished, but not severely like the others. We'll have the morning to ourselves though," she continued on.

The army moved on wards, the columns of archers ahead of the rest. They would take out any on the walls of the kingdom so that they could easily breach the kingdom itself...
