A fourth volley of arrows come raining down upon those at the walls of Draxon before the archers take cover in the trees again. A couple more wooden platforms are moved up as the rest of the army lies in wait. More boulders smash right into or fly over the walls. The main gate gets rammed two more times, and a fifth blow is prepared...

The stoens that fly over the walls mostly end up hitting structures, but some unlucky footsoldiers are also caught by the stones.

"Stay where you are," a captain growls menacingly. the footsoldiers ready for whatever coems through the gate, while lithbolos continue firing flaming stones into the night, acting as both a signal for help and an attempt to strike down any that attack...

Draco and Immanis soon exit the palace, and are escorted by the guards towards the gate...

The gates slowly began to part, the wooden beams used to reinforce it cracking, and the metal, while not being too badly ruined, is nonetheless affected by the battering it is recieving...

The militia keep marching, havign still a good deal of ground to cover before even entering the pass....

"I see." Guame responded rubbing his chin. This was very bad. Not only was there Akuro to deal with, but now these creatures as well. There was no doubt that they would be back soon. Given how easilly they had managed to get into the city and slaughter the soldiers, they would come back to what they thought was an easy place to eat and kill... This greatly troubled Guame. However, there was one thing he wanted to know first... "Old woman, just who, or what, are you? I can tell your using magic to disguise yourself... Revealing your true form to me willl cause you no harm... I am not a manevolent being..." Guame asked.

Akruo continued further into the orc-guarded castle, the Kitsune looking around, taking in all that he saw. There was something about this place.. something that he couldn't put his tongue on...

A lone orc approached the Kitsune, garbed in a black robe with a long, wooden stave. Atop his stave rested a black pseudodragon, which glared at Akuro intently. The orc smiled and said, "Ah, I see you have made it. Please, follow me." the orc turns and begins to head towards the large spire in the center, passing by a fighting pit surrounded by orcs, with two Olog-Hai fighting in it....

The old woman shook her head. "It matters not who I truly am. If you care about this city and its inhabitants, there are more pressing matters at hand." she explained calmly, only slightly surprised that the creature could sense she was hiding something.

Alecia quickly snatched up her Katana and slowly stood up. "Stay calm," she thought ot herself, "Fear and anger bring imperfeciton in battle, stay calm, and just focus...." The young assassin prepared for the worst. While tossing her katana back and fourth between her hands, she looked up at the dragon, seeing obvious concern in the anceint reptiles eyes. "You could say that," she started, "But I don't expect you to lift a claw in my aid now, you have already healed me, a complete stranger, and I am in your debt, but this," Alecia took a deep breath, and continued calmly, "Is...... this is my fight, I brought this on myself, and I wouldn't wan't anyone else hurt because of my past actions, but if oyu would stand by me to fight this, I would aid you in any way possible, though again, i don't exactly know how to repay a dragon." Alecia looked up at the moon, and considered the fact that she may not live to see the sun.

Guame eyed the old woman suspiciously, but shrugged. "If that is ineed the case." The armadillo sighed as he looked off into the distance. Germania was about to enter very tough times... this, he could tell. He would have to be on his guard if he wanted this country to stand. No doubt Trajan would also want that... As much as he wanted to let Trajan know he was here, he would have to keep his presence here a secret from him... especially since he wnated to save Dione...

Akuro cautiously followed the orc, his eyes drifting over to the pit fight. Yess... this place would most definitely suit him well once he gained enough power... The wolf-like demon smirked as he envisioned himself ruling over all of Aster, every living being on the continent under his control. The first thing he would do would be to posses that dragon he had met earlier... no one made a fool out of him and got away with it in the long run...

The orc kept moving along, before he soon reached the black iron doors of the spire. "Lord Burzum has been expecting you," the orc growled. "He has been searching for a more... competant heir in the event of his inevitable passing. I will escort to the throne room, and from there, Sharavuras will take care of you."

Chromatus stopped, many eyes narrowing as another being seemed to pop out of no where near the dragon in the distance. He knew little of magic, but considering the size of the new appearance, he wasn't very concerned about more showing up. Walking rather then running, the hybrid neared gradually...

As the beastman turned away, the old woman was already over the side of the wall, a jet black raven flying off into the jungle a moment later...

Andruil bolted forward while the Wyvern was distracted, rolling under the beast as his blade slashed deeply into the beast's chest, Andruil slipping between the legs and just past the base of the tail, rolling into a crouch and diving out of the way of the beast's tail, as a loud screeching caw was heard, Shiryaz streaking past over the Wyvern's back, claws slashing across the beast's flesh, adding to the distraction, the bird gone before the Wyvern knew it had been hit across the back...

"You're either suicidal, stupid or completely mad. I'm not sticking around to fight this and neither are you" growled Septimus, his eyes flashing as both Desrium and Alecia were pulled off their feet, landing roughly on the Dragon's back as he leapt hard, launching himself into the air, his powerful wings launching him forward as he arced sideways, intending to leave the massive beast behind him. whatever that Dragon wanted, he had no intention of sticking round to find out. odds are at this point he was already dead anyway. he wouldn't make it easier for the monstrous leviathan...

"Just as I have an affinity for finding friends, Septimus, you have an affinity for drawing beasts to you" said Desrium to the silver scaled dragon, his hands finding a familiar spot to grip just over the Hueilin's shoulders. He brought fear to the settlements he found himself in, and Septimus faced danger on the trips there. The two seemed bound by peril...

Alecia looked at the dragon slightly irratibly and said, "Hey well, I don't like to quit before the-", she was inturrupted as Septimus flung her onto her back, her words turning into a high pitched scream, much like that of a little girl. Alecia, still slightly dazed, began speaking again, "Are you insane! You could hav-" Her words were once again cut of by her own screaming as the dragon lept into the air. She had never flown before, and to her, this was like jumping off a cliff into a pit of magma. giveing up on screaming, Alecia Simply laid down and gripped the dragons back as tight as possibly with her arms and legs, all her muscles tensed, her face contorted into a mushed grin as her crimson her whipped out behind.

Nitsunobue ignored the slashes from the puny half-elf and his bird for now, both doing minor damage. His main concern was protecting his flesh from the scalding flames of the dragons. With surpising speed, Nitunobue bursts out of the flames, slamming the side of his thick skull into Zar's, knocking him off balance, before he moves in to gore Aviva with an uppercut of his massive head....

Without a word, Chromatus lifted himself into the air with a few powerful beats of his wings, following after the dragon. Although the other dragon was faster, Chromatus' own wings were much larger, allowing him to clear much more distance with each flap...

Alecia looked up, her hood down, the moonlight shineing against her face and crimson hair as it blew backwards. Flying was actually... fun, it felt almost.. natural to her. Still puzzled by this, Alecia looked at the moon and started at it for a few moments. Then noticeing a massive figure flying behind Septimus, hidden from the moonlight. "Ohhh God...." she said aloud. Banging against septimus's sides, she screamed at the dragon, "Were being followed!"

"Could you kindly stop?" Desrium said, his cold, level voice almost overwhelmed by the assassin's screaming. His helm was turned slightly so that the corner of one scarlet eye was visible. "I am sure Septimus knows that full well. He doesn't need to be reminded" He went onto say. He had seen fearful people before, but nothing like this.

"Uhhhh, sorry... about.. that..." muttered Alecia, not paying attention. She was busy prepareing some blowdarts to shoot at their pursuer.

"Desrium. Get Alecia in one of the satchels. Where I'm going she won't survive otherwise" rumbled Septimus firmly, glancing behind him out the corner of one eye, noting the distance from the massive beast pursuing him. just flying away wasn't going to be enough. he'd have to push out of it's reach...

Wordlessly, Desrium swung a leg over Septimus' side, repeating the process from before. He grabbed onto the satchel's strap then rappelled down Septimus' side as the dragon's wings beat alarmingly close to his head, yet he seemed to be devoid of fear. He raised the flap of the bag then dropped in, though this time he held onto the lining instead of dropping straight in. He held the flap up. "Now you" He said simply to Alecia, expecting her to repeat his example and enter the bag. He didn't factor in her fear of the situation, from the chase or the heights...

Chromatus continued to follow, assuming that the dragon had not seen him and he would simply follow it to its next destination, his numerous heads expressing looks of neutrality...
