I've set the nebula as my background. the King Air image was beautiful. saved it for future use, also as a background. the explosion one is good, but doesn't have the same feeling of depth as the nebula [the different shades of blue and purple and the angles of the streaks pull off an almost 3D look].

very nicely done.

Thanks all! It's pretty darn cool to know the nebula's on the desktop of a computer thousands of miles away. :P

If I come up with any more interesting stuff with Apophysis, I'll be sure to upload it...

Since it's on DA for all to see I don't think KP would be the only one with it as a desktop background for long

Don't quite know how to explain this other than what I wrote in the description...

Thanks.

G4E: Lol. Interesting way to look at it. :P I was thinking of possibly drawing him in some other form, like some sort of winged raptor hybrid, or even a Dracavion. Don't expect anything for a while though. I dropped my inspiration down a storm drain. XP

Well, considering your alias is Velocibudgie, there's somewhere to start. giant burning raptor with a budgie head o,o

XD

I'm not sure whether the image that just gave me was more awesome or hilarious, but I think that's quite a good idea. There will be a true Velocibudgie one day. And it will hopefully be more awesome than weirdly hilarious in a mutated sort of way. :P

Either it's got the parts of different dinosaurs or it's part horse-part ceratosaurus from the horn

I don't really know what it is. It just sort of invented itself. XP

Anywho, here's another random one in a different style...
