Tetto'eko didn't question it, moving at a steady clip, faster than his age would otherwise imply. As he moved, he put his hood over his head as well, and the frightened Pseudodragon sitting on his shoulder quickly scrambled inside, just enough room for the cat-sized reptile...

Discord paused. That snarl was very close by, though he couldn't see the source just yet. Instead of trying, he simply floated onward, calling out to apparently no one in particular, "Oh, my apologies! Did I upset your storm? I have a dreadful habit of doing that, you know!" His voice carried on the wind, unheard by the travelers below, though the creature he had apparently angered would definitely pick it up...

[The Kingpin]

"How....inconvenient for you" rumbled the voice in return, echoing on the wind, barely discernible from a growl, the source behind the being, the shimmering silver patterns covering the massive Dragon glowing brightly in the darkness as a flash could be seen in the clouds far above, the rumble of thunder echoing loudly around them...

Discord spun around to spot the source of the voice. "Well, another dragon! If wyverns count as dragons. If not, I guess you're the first I've seen today. Anyway, did you... need something? Believe it or not, I'm actually on a bit of a schedule for once. It's quite annoying, to be honest. Who would've thought Discord would be scheduling things?! I really do need to get my head in the game. Been stuck inside a rock way too long..."

Arsenic put on a burst of speed, as Aviva made a sudden banking turn and headed up to join Zar. It's an illusion, and a strong one. Strengthen your shields as much as you can, she sent to Arsenic. Protect your companions. Zar and I will try to help. He looked up at her. Goddess bless you and your species, Aviva, he said warmly. Don't thank us just yet, Zar's deeper voice warned grimly. We barely sensed it, and we don't know how much help we'll be. Arsenic felt the strain on his mind as he poured every ounce of his concentration into the mental bubble around himself and his companions. Sweat trickled down his temple and the back of his neck as he struggled to maintain the shield. He felt Aviva's mental presence as she added her strength to his...and noticed the difference immediately. The 'rain' still fell, but it lost some of its sweet scent and sticky texture. Arsenic very nearly staggered, not expecting the sudden drain on his body, but quickly regained his footing. 'I don't know how long I can keep this up,' he said aloud, his mental voice somewhat strained, 'even with Aviva's help. So I suggest we move as quickly as we can, and try to get out of range of this illusion.'

"And what possible reason would you have for making a schedule when your very nature is chaos? Aside from the amusement of being a living paradox" rumbled the Dragon, wings thumping loudly as the first drops of real rain began to fall from the rolling clouds above...



"Then we'd best move quickly" said Andruil, lifting Arsenic mid stride and setting him on Furax, not even breaking stride as he did so. "You focus on keeping whatever it is off of us. I'll focus on getting us out of here" said the man as he began to run, Furax joining him in a near gallop, Andruil glancing towards Tetto'eko. "Think you can keep up? Or should I carry you out of here?" he asked, his wolfish yellow eyes shimmering eerily beneath the hood, standing out amidst the shadows enshrouding his face...

Discord crossed his arms and smirked. "Ah, so you've heard of me. I wonder if I became infamous during my imprisonment..." As he mused thoughtfully, he realized something. "Wait, they got through my illusion! Not bad, not bad at all. Glad to see them putting up a fight. Makes things more interesting." He waved his eagle hand boredly, and the chocolate rain vanished completely, ending the illusion now that it had no purpose. Glancing up at the dragon, he continued. "Where was I? Oh, yes, introductions! Well, since you've clearly heard of me, who are you, hm?"

Tetto'eko glowered. "I may be old, but I am not a weakling," he chirped. "I may not be able to outrun a horse, but I am still a Skink. I can keep pace just fine as long as you and your friends don't start sprinting..." Indeed, Tetto'eko was moving surprisingly quickly, holding his staff in the air slightly to keep it from getting caught on anything and reduce his speed...

"Know you? hardly. Calling yourself Discord and toying with others' minds to confuse them is more than enough to make an educated guess. As for me..." rumbled the Dragon as he drifted around the chimera casually. "Let's just say I'm a traveller whose gone too long without travelling. I'm exploring....finding out what I have missed in my time in isolation. Funnily, in that sense and a few others, we are not so different" he finished...


"Please, if I were going to insult you I'd've chosen something else. I was simply inquiring. Genuine concern is so alien to you that you take offence to it?" said Andruil as he continued, not daring to slow down as he moved onwards, noting that while the scent on the rain had seemingly faded, the rain itself was gradually becoming heavier, as a flash overhead was emphasised by the boom of thunder a couple of seconds later...

"I... I apologize," Tetto'eko replied, sounding genuinely confused. "I do not know what came over me..."

"Not very often I meet kindred spirits," Discord replied. "Usually I meet people that want to kill me almost immediately. Or each other. I have that effect on most sentient beings," he added with a chuckle. "Any particular reason YOU'RE causing weather problems? I mean, I do it for fun, but you look like you've got bigger and better things to do than have fun."

Aviva gave a powerful stroke of her wings, her piercing green eyes scanning the skies as her head swiveled as far as it could on her long neck. The illusion seemed to have either been lessened or canceled out altogether by whatever had created it....but her instincts told her to keep sharp. They still needed to be careful. Some distance above her, Zar was making wide banking turns, claws and teeth at the ready. His mate was injured; it fell on him to be the first defense against attacks from above, and he didn't intend to let anything get past him.

Arsenic looked toward the skies, his gaze following the two dragons as well as looking for trouble. They were lucky that Extraxl were born with natural defenses...otherwise, he alone probably wouldn't have been enough to fight off the magic effectively.

Nitsunobue soon found the vibrations of the elves, and burrowed with incredible speed until he finally reached them. Now, he will have his vengeance...

The earth began to rumble beneath the traveller's feet, signalling the horned wyvern's return. This time, however, he did not stay under the ground.

Suddenly, Nitsunobue catapulted himself out of the ground, sending dirt and stones flying all over the place, as he let out an angered roar. His eyes fell to the level of the group, before he charged....

Andruil pushed the Skink out of the way as he leapt in the opposite direction as the beast barrelled between where they had once been, Furax running, making space between himself and the monster, though for once remaining calm, as Andruil rolled into a crouch, sword in hand, eyes shimmering as he eyed the beast as it passed. "What the hell are you doing?! We're on your side!" called the man in surprise...



"The weather is my domain. I take pleasure in twisting it to my will when the mood strikes me. It just happens that I'm in such a mood at present" rumbled the Dragon. the travellers below intrigued him. Their nature meant that following them would benefit him. Travellers by nature were forced to go through settlements regularly. an excellent way to see how people behaved in this world...and a way to catch up with the times...

Discord shrugged. "Fair enough, I suppose." His ears perked at the sound of battle below; a battle he was technically responsible for. "Ah, looks like my new friend just arrived. Good timing, too. Ought to keep them distracted until I can get my game ready." The chimera looked the dragon up and down, smirking. "Say, you seem like the kind of guy who enjoys a little chaos! Wanna help?"

Caught slightly off-guard by his reaction previously, combined with the sudden arrival of Nitsunobue, Tett'eko managed to stop himself from landing face-first in the mud with his hands, staff falling next to him. Mordecai, alarmed, skittered away, taking off to avoid the fighting and watch from a safe distance. The Skink shakily got to his feet, trying to regain his composure in order to prepare a spell. Even if the weather was magically created, It didn't mean he couldn't use it to his advantage...

Nitsunobue slowed himself to a stop, growling menacingly at Andruil, before speaking.

"CHIMERA TELL ME YOU LIE! YOU ATTACK ARCHDEMON FOR NO REASON! YOU LET HIM KILL FOREST! YOU LET HIM HARM ME!"

Nitsunobue snorted, twin jets coming from his nostrils.

"ME THOUGHT YOU FRIENDS! BUT YOU NO BETTER THAN ARCHDEMON! WILL KILL ARCHDEMON- BUT ONCE DONE WITH YOU!"

The horned tyrant let out a terrible screech, one which hung in the air for a few seconds and peirced the ears of all nearby, as he struck again...

Taking his attention away from the mental shield and ignoring Aviva's surprised mental shout, Arsenic aimed a brutal mental attack at the wyvern, stunning it as he snarled in his telepathic voice, 'Why would I lie about dozens of my friends being injured and even killed, you delusional beast? That Archdemon murdered them without reason - why? Because an immature wannabe-king with no b*lls to back his ego up threw a temper tantrum over the fact that I wouldn't kill his innocent father. That is the truth behind the attack.' Vix stared at him, startled; she'd never seen him so angry, not even when the subject of what happened to his mother was brought up.

Mara nodded, as she followed his instructions...

Akuro kept watch of the terrain, his eyes narrowing as the snow gently fell upon his wings. Having an aerial advantage like this was something he wasn't accustomed to, minus the few times he had taken over other flying creature's bodies... Hopefully, they were getting close to the cave...

[Godzilla Forever]

Nitsunobue groaned in pain, the mental assault halting the huge beast's attack just in time. He turned to Arsenic, fighting through the pain, as he mumbled out weakly.

"F-friend?"

Suddenly, he shook his head violently, as his mind reverts to its insane state.

"NO! ALL A TRICK! WANT MY HORNS, YOU DO! JUST LIKE THE OTHERS! MAKE YOU PAY!"

Nitsunobue steps forward twice, before spinning around, attempting to smash Arsenic with his hammer-like tail....

The duo continued along, as the stones began to turn more flat, instead of gonig up. However, the walkway was still narrow, and they would need to stay cautious....

The stalkers kept flying along, before one of them grutned in the Black speech. The Masked Man translated. "The cave is down there," he said. "Let's move!"

The fell beasts all dive at once, hoping Akuro follows...

Arsenic, despite his weakened state, managed to throw another telepathic barb at the beast. It was considerably weaker than the last. He couldn't keep this up forever; but he did have a last resort. He thrust his memories of the attack into the wyvern's mind, gritting his teeth as he did so. He forced his pain, his rage, his thirst for revenge, all of the emotions attached to the memories deep into the creature's mind, in a last attempt to make it see sense. 'Look,' he said, his voice betraying his exhaustion; he'd pushed himself to his limits. 'Know this is the truth. See how many of my comrades died because of the king of Draxon's immaturity. See how much was destroyed; know how many survivors may still die of their wounds. We only want our just revenge - as you do. We gain more by not wasting our strength fighting each other than we do struggling against each other for the same goal.'

The demon dove down after the stalkers. At last. Whatever this dragon he was after looked like, he would ahve pleasure taking him down...

Mara looked around, the half-demon keeping on the alert. Out of the blue, came the sound of a bird chirping. It was a high-pitched, almost melodic sound, but to Mara, it was reassurance. Viral... was indeed following them. No doubt Akuro had sent him a telepathic message to make certain she was safe... She looked behind herself, to see him, but he wasn't there. Indeed, he was nowhere to be seen...

In his insanity, Nitsunobue's reasonable side, hidden within the depths of the raging titan's mind, shown through and spoke to Arsenic mentally.

"Help..... I trust.... I trust..... too weak..."

A much more menacing voice shouted in Arsenic's head now, sounding like Nitsunobue's voice outside.

"DO NOT CONVERSE WITH HIM, FOOL! HE LIAR! HE WANT YOU DEAD! KILL! KILL! KILL!"

To everyone not in Nitsunobue's head, it seemed like the wyvern was having a seizure....

As the duo went up, a large, heavy metal door rested before htem, guarded by two dwarves in black armor.

"Follow me, Mistress mara," Sharavuras said as he dismounted. "The Chaos Dwarves are not nice folk, and are not to be fully trusted. Keep a watchful eye until the black king agrees to join us."

The stalkers soon landed on the top and sides of the cave, where a large ridge rested on top and before the cave. Snoring was audible from within, signalling the dragon's slumber.

"Go on and play possum," the masked man said mentally. "We can do the rest ourselves. Just remember to be ready to stun him when he's pinned down."

"I understand." Mara replied as she too dismounted. Dwarves, eh? Oh, this would be fun... She LOVED dwarves... especially roasting the few she had encountered before...

Akuro nodded, before he flew forward. He positioned himself so thatwhen he landed, he would land at the edge of the ledge near the cave's mouth. He cleared his throat, before a blood-curling screech ripped from his lungs. It was a loud, and painful sound, almost as if he had been bitten by a gigantic serpent. As he cried out, he plummeted, until he crashed down onto the ledge, a white pluff of snow flying upward from his crash landing, one of his eyes open jsut ever so slightly, so that he could see just what this dragon was like...
