Mara and Sharavuras soon approached the gate. The Castellan kept his hand on his morgul blade, not willing to be caught off guard by these treacherous creatures. The two chaos dwarves glanced up at the towering beings, not used to people being so much taller than them.

"Halt!" they both said, keeping their halberds crossed. "Who dares to enter the court of the Black King?"

"I, Sharavuras of Gorgoroth, and Mara of Germania, at your service." The Castellan bowed down. A voice entered Mara's mind, sounding urgent.

"Bow." It was Sharavuras.

A grunt was heard within the cave, followed by a deep, menacing roar. Out from the cave emerged Bardhvadok himself. He was a beautiful dragon, glistening a pristene platinum white, with a row of fins down his back and black, bead like eyes. His wings barely fit within the walls of the cave as he emerged. His mouth alone was nearly large enough to bite Akuro's head clean off, let alone how large the rest of his body was. The beast soon approached Akuro, and sniffed his body, before puuting his muscular forarms on his form, ready to feast.

The Stalkers' bows were drawn, the huge, steel wound weapons with equally huge arrows primed to fire.

"Release the bolts!" the masked man said.

The blackened arrows were released, whistling through the air, as they peirced through the tips of Bardhvadok's wings and struck the ground, effectively pinning him. Steel ropes were attatched to the arrows, and the ends were soon tied to their Fell Beast mounts. Bardhvadok roared at the ambush, and stood on his hindlegs, spewing flames and attempting to break free as two more arrows fired and pinned his back legs to the ground.

"STUN HIM! NOW!" The masked man shouted to akuro mentally.

At the signal, Akuro raised up his head, so that his mouth was alligned with the dragon's head. a deep, crackling sound was heard as a powerful blast of electricity fired from his mouth and slammed into Bardhvadok's head. This was but only one of the many things Akuro was capable of doing with electricity. He had lived long enough to be able to master it's power, and could do almost anything with it...

Mara immedeately bowed before the dwarves. It was ironic, really. Back when Akuro had trained her, she was used to the dwarves that he had brought in to bow down befor eher in fright before she barbequed them. Now, she was bowing down before these midgets... Her pride especially did not take too well to this...

"Good. Just follow my lead, and you'll be fine," Sharavuras said in Mara's head again. He rose, and the chaos Dwarves glanced at each other.

"Alright, Sharavuras, you can come in. The girl can as well, since we know you would not bring an enemy to the alliance into our home." The halberds soon uncrossed and the doors opened, beckoning them inside. Sharavuras entered first, expecting Mara to follow.

The electricity seemed to hurt Bardhvadok, causing him to roar in pain, but wasn't enough to stop his struggling completely and knock him out. A couple beats of his wings snapped the metal ropes that held the arrows to the Fell Beasts, and, with a step forward, the dragon managed to break the other two ropes as well. With a roar, the white dragon swatted Akuro, disrupting the electrical charge. Bardhvadok, still a bit twitchy from the sheer voltage of the electricity, soon takes off, desperate to escape his assailants.

"After him!" the Masked Man shouted as the Stalkers pursued. He was hoping the sheer amount of electricity would be enough to incapacitate the dragon, but it looked like he'll have to be taken down by force rather than magic.

Akuro growled in dissatisfaction as he saw the dragon try to escape. Damn this form! It limited his power far too much. "You want something done right, you gotta do it yourself..." the demon growled low as the husk he had used began to break apart.the back of the wyvern's body cracked, before the whole thing exploded in a bright flash of electricity. As it dissipated, the wolf-like form of Akuro bolted after the Dragon, the fur on his back cracklnig with voltage. Now that he was in his true form, he wouldn't be so limited in his power anymore, and could use as much strength as he so desired. The Demon howled at the fleeing dragon, electricity flying from his mouth like a spear, locked onto Bardhvadok...

Mara followed in behind him, the half-demon holding her snake-headed staff in her right hand tightly....

As the electricity struck Bardhvadok, the dragon groaned in pain and seemed to go completely limp. The dragon soon began to fall, spiralling out of control. With little time to react, two of the stalkers snatched the dragon by its neck and tail, their Fell Beast mounts struggling to hold up its weight. The other two stalkers soon descended, holding up its wings with their mounts' talons.

"Good job, Lord Akuro," the Masked Man said. "Now, let us take him back to Gorgoroth before he awakens again..."

The doors creaked shut, leaving the hall in complete darkness. However, the darkness was soon illuminated by walls of torches, when Sharavuras and Mara entered the Hall of the Black king, filled with dwarves drinking and enjoying themselves deep in the heart of the Zi-Mal.

"Stay close- it is easy to get lost in this darkness," Sharavuras said as he marched straight through the room full of music, obnoxious yelling and alchohol.....

Through the darkness of night, a couple hundred soldiers still alive marched back to the kingdom of the Confederates, most wounded with a few not even harmed, who were bringing the dead back from the battle. They had inflicted heavy casualties on the enemy, yet had sustained more than they alone could bargain for. Many of the reserves, young boys at the least, died more than the main fighting force alone. Had the battle continued, the Confederates probably would've lost anyways... so they retreated when they started to lose the upper hand deeper into the city, which they had purged in fire.

A victorious cheer broke out across the fortress-capitol of Freyr-Luge. They had lost many good men, in addition to their primary defense against raids. Those who had been killed in the ensuing fighting were placed outside the castle walls and burnt in a huge funeral pyre, lit by King Draco himself. Tears dripped from even the most hardened soldier's eyes, for all had lost someone in this short, but devastating, assault. Even Draco realized just what he was getting his people into.

"My fellow Draxons," Draco announced before the roaring flames. "This is the enemy that has assaulted our brothers, and slain the ones we care about. This is why we must fight. This is why we must stay strong. For if we falter, barbarians like them will continue to kill us, opress us, and abuse us. We must maintain our powers over the east, and we WILL ensure that a tragedy liek this shall not befall our people, not in our lifetime, nor the next."

A cheer broke out as Draco thought about what he had caused.

Wounded men lay scattered among their fallen comrades in arms, in the forest. Silently, one man called over his shoulder to his friend, who wasn't moving or saying anything, "Jack! Jack! Get up, get up!" while holding his own stomach as blood slowly oozed out of the wound. Moans of pain and cries of shock slowly died until not much more could be heard. Despite this, many were still alive, with their weapons at the ready, in case Draxon soldiers ventured too close to them.

"Yes... let us hurry back..." The Fox demon growled, before he added, "Do you four require help taking him back?"

Mara nodded, keeping close to Sharavuras. Seeing all these dwarves having fun... it made her sick to her stomach. The music, the singing, it was all annoying and irritating!

As the men went back to their posts or retired for the day, and city and her peoples fell into a uneasy slumber, Draco looked out into the night from the walls of Freyr-Lunge, watching the Pyre burn. What had he done? Sure, he could get men from the fortresses of Snowmourne and Frostbane, but he had gotten his country into a vicious battle with an unknown army. Shame filled the once arrogant king's eyes. He wanted his kingdom to fight, but was it worth the cost in men? Had Zazikel betrayed him in favor of someone better? These things haunted Draco's mind, as the flames danced in the moonlight and colored the mountain pass blood red.

"Draco?" The king turned to see his friend Immanis. "It is late, my friend. You should get some rest."

"I know." Draco looked down from the castle walls. "There is much for me to think about, and little time to do it."

"There is always time to get the job done, Draco," Immanis said. He wasn't too smart himself, but time had made him wise, and taught him that patience was a virtue. Draco still had time to learn.

"We have no allies, Immanis," Draco growled. "We lost over 300 men tonight alone. If they come back, we might not survive the next fight."

"Nonsense," Immanis replied with a hearty chuckle. "Even in the darkest times, there will always be hope."

"Hope is not enough to lead a kingdom to conquer all the known world," Draco replied hastily.

"If not hope, then vengeance will fuel us," Immanis said. "Tonight's fight is more than enough inspiration for them to continue fighting."

Draco sighed. Immanis simply did not understand. He didn't KNOW how difficult it will be to inspire people who have lost many dear to them, nor did he udnerstand the cost of manpower it would be in order for him to keep his plans going.

"Let's go, Draco." Immanis headed back to the palace, and Draco followed. Some of the guards had built a wooden wall, reinforced with thick boards from behind, in the meantime until the gate could be repaired. It had been a long night, and all of them deserved to rest....

"Yes please," one of the stalkers croaked in very poor Asterian. His fell beast looked pretty tired, not only being the smallest one in the flock, but it also had been hurt when Bardhvadok broke free from the steel ropes.

Sharavuras could see Mara's irritation. He sympathized fully, but what was he to do? Kill them all? They were too valuable an ally to let them go to waste. Soon, they reached another metal door, guarded by two more chaos dwarves. These, however, recognized Shavuras instantly and let him pass. The Castellan beckonned for Mara to follow, and quickly. He knew how much dwarven partying could get out of hand.... and they certainly wouldn't pass up on a half-demon woman to... help it along.

"I would, but for now, I intend to make use of this little group of mortals. I intend to follow them...use them to see how this world has changed in my absence" rumbled Arashi calmly. "Once I've had my fun, I may decide to simply vaporise them with a few bolts of lightning, a fireball or two perhaps...Will depend on whether they manage to entertain me sufficiently or not" he explained...

as the Wyvern twitched and shook in it's seizure-like state, a large, bristled form collided with it's head, latching onto it's horns as it streaked overhead, the sheer force behind the blow yanking the creature's head downwards against the ground, a large werewolf pinning it down, gazing Nitsunobue in the eye, it's own yellow glare shimmering fiercely as the beast snarled "We're elves, you fool. We rely on the forest as much as you do. What sense would it make to destroy what we need to survive? That Archdemon slaughtered dozens, and intends to slaughter hundreds, maybe thousands more. It FEEDS off DESTRUCTION. It DESTROYS for PLEASURE. And you think that WE'RE the ones to blame?!" rumbled Andruil, having lost himself to the transformation in the chaos of the fight, the large, muscular beast's fangs bared menacingly as he kept his grip firm on the beast's horns...

Septimus swam closer, edging towards the barrier of the underwater city, drifting round over the top of the place, watching as small figures roamed below. They seemed human for the most part, though they seemed somehow different, the barrier around the City so large that he was too far from any of them to make out their features, especially with the distortion caused by the water. He'd need to get inside. The Dragon swerved downwards along one side of the city's transparent wall, the webbed fins on his tail spread widely as he swam, the tail seeming to ripple and swerve, propelling the Dragon forward as his wings, tucked tightly against his flanks with the fingers splayed widely, formed the equivelent of pectoral fins, used to manoeuvre his way through the water...

A sense of disappointment came over Desrium as he saw the tiny inhabitants of the city within the sphere, who all seemed oblivious to the shimmering drake cutting through their liquid sky. They seemed so familiar, despite being living in an alien world beyond the one on land. If this really was the place he thought it was, the fabled Zuppoland, then he feared he would be just as out of place here as he was before...

Discord frowned, disappointed. "How boring. Still, if you want to play it that way, I won't stop you. At least let them finish my game before you kill them, would you please?" He looked down, peeking through the clouds at the battle below. "It's almost time to start..." he said, chuckling...

"If that is the case, then go ahead and lower him onto my back. I'll be able to carry him back to the castle..." Akuro growled as he moved to underneath the unconcious dragon. Akuro was fast, VERY fast, when he needed to be. No doubt he'd be able to make it down to the castle from here on foot... Plus, if the dragon were to wake up, a few extra volts would put him to sleep...

Mara quickly followed him on in, not wanting to be anywhere near the partying dwarves... though, lighting their heads on fire WOULD be amusing...

As Septimus swam along the edge of the massive transparent barrier, he spotted a portion that seemed to warble and shimmer near the bottom. intrigued, the Dragon swam towards it, noting that an arc of light crackled through the water, the Dragon spreading his arms before him as the magically bound electrical bolt curved, stopping right in front of him, crackling and leaping between his claws in an electrical orb as two men...or what at first resembled men, swam towards him. Closer investigation revealed that from the hips downwards, their bodies were those of fish....specifically, they resembled shark tails. the men carried staves, obviously conjuring something else as they approached. The Dragon snarled as they fired again, nearly transparent darts of what seemed to be glass...or ice, streaking towards him. reaching forward, the electrical orb streaked forward, tendrils reaching out and destroying the darts as the Dragon's eyes shimmered a bright shade of cyan. Stand down or this will be the last fight you ever have warned the Dragon. It seemed to work, the two halting their assault, the Dragon slowly swimming closer, wary of his surroundings in case there was more to them than met the eye.....were these two men inhabitants of this underwater world? It seemed he would soon find out...

"So long as your game doesn't end up in them dead or scattered. They're much less useful to me split up than together" rumbled Arashi calmly in response...

Discord popped his head back up to look at Arashi. "Dead? Of course not! Too easy. Scattered? Well, I suppose that depends on them, doesn't it?" He folded his arms behind his back, a completely straight, innocent look on his face. "I mean, could you imagine? ME, causing a party of adventurers to split up? Perish the thought!" After a moment of silence, Discord lost his composure and snorted with laughter. "Pffthaha! Nope, couldn't keep a straight face! A for effort, though..."

Passing by mermen, Desrium opened his jaws, thin trails of bubbles left in his wake. His hope had been somewhat renewed upon seeing the oceanic creatures, despite their hostility. Whether they were simply defending their homes from outsiders or were alarmed by his appearance like so many others had yet to be seen...

The Stalker soon nodded, releasing Bardhvadok's tail. The Masked Man soon lead the way, waiting for the other four stalkers and Akuro to follow, flying slow enough for Akuro to set himself up....

The duo soon entered the throne of the Black King. Before them sat a small figure with a black crown, and two dwarves with halberds and four with axes. Sharavuras bowed, and commanded Mara to do so.

"The Black King." Sharavuras said.

"What brings you two here to the Zi-Mal?" The Black King said.

"Lord Burzum requests your allegience."

"And what of the girl?"

The dwarven king turned to the half-demon.

"What is she here for?"

"That is none of your business."

"I wasn't talking to you," the black king growled. "Well? Answer me, wench!"

Nitsunobue gorwled out menacingly, his angry side speaking now:

"WORTHELSS SCUM YOU ALL ARE! USE YOU TO DISTRACT ARCHDEMON, THEN DISPOSE OF ELF AND DEMON ALIKE, LEAVE! WHY ELSE WOULD ME JOIN YOU?!"

Of course, seeing that Nitsunobue has no control overhimself, his mindlessness lets his inner demons to pour forth without any bars.....

Akuro followed the 4, carrying the sleeping dragon with him...

Mara bowed down befor ethe Black King, before she eyed him. "I come for the same reason as he does. I come here on behalf of Lord Burzum, who requests an alliance with you." She answered, masking her growing temper as well as she could. Any person who called her a wench before had been burned slowly from the inside out. Oh how she would LOVE to do it to this little dwarf...

The Stalkers watched Bardhvadok and Akuro carefully, while following the Masked man's lead. They didn't want to get lost, nor did they want to drop the precious cargo....

The black king smiled.

"Ah, I see we've got a submissive one. She'll be easy to.... handle." The guards laugh at this statement.

"Onreinn Shakutarbik....." Sharavuras growled in the black speech.

The Black king soon silenced the laughter after the Castellan's statement.

"Alright. Since Burzum has been so kind to my kin in the past, we will aid him in whatever he needs," the dwarf said.

"Your complience is much appreciated," Sharavuras replied flatly.

He soon got up to leave and gestured for Mara to follow.
