Guame and Djinn, now looking down at the scene from above, both looked at one another, before nodding. Whatever this armored being was, it was a danger to those here. They would have to try and drive it out. The beastman armadillo leapt down first, while Djinn seemed to head off elsewhere. The beastman landed, perched upon his staff, right behind the armored entity. "You, what is your purpose here in this city, and who are you?" the armadillo asked, 300 years of battle experience having him be incredibly cautious. He was more of a physical fighter than a magic user, so if combat was necessary, then he wouldn't hesitate to protect Tristan from whatever this thing was...

Zazikel stared up at the night sky through the window. "I do not regularly watch the astral activities of this realm, but if I'm correct, there has not been an eclipse in a while. It may happen sooner than you think..."

The armored being waved a hand, the armadillo being knocked off the staff and into the wall of a nearby building. "I've wasted enough time." the being hissed, looking up into the sky, as if seeing something no one else could. Without warning, the blackened armor dissolved into wisps of the darkest night, which shot off into the air, soon being lost in the darkness above...

"I shall have my priests study the stars for the event of the Eclipse, then."

Draco finishes armoring himself shortly afterward.

Draco nods in agreement before heading down towards the throne room.

"owww" Guame groaned as he got back onto his feet. "Guess the Black Blood can't protect from flying into walls..." The armadillo beastman grabbed his staff, just as Djinn leapt down from the rooftops to the collapsed old woman. She placed her fingers of the woman's neck, to see if there was some life remaining, before she shook her head. She couldn't detect a pusle at all...

"Great... this is just freaking perfect. now we have some armored freak running around like he owns the place." Djinn spat, the anger in her eyes all too apparent. Guame simply nodded. First Akuro... now this? What was going on here?

"Let us first bury her, so that the crows and scavengers don't get to her body... " Guame muttered, looking around carefully, before looking upward into the dark sky... just what was that thing?

"It is better this way. Fighting would be futile." a small voice seemed to whisper to the both of them. From where the old woman lay, a small beacon of light crawled out from her hood. It was lizard-like, resembling an iguana, with butterfly-like wings. It was only about 6 inches in length, but it glowed brightly like the moon above.

Deka's visible eye narrowed as he listened in on Draco, all too aware that he had best keep his distance from this other creature at this point. He was lurking outside of any detection's range, in physical form; shadows were weak at best at this particular area, and he didn't want to risk becoming one unless he absolutely had to.
Slowly backing away, he kept a wary eye for anyone approaching. He would try his luck some other time... the Shade dared not attempt anything in plain sight of such a powerful presence...

"I see," Draco said, unaware of Deka's presence. "Then, I guess, you are free to do as you please. Just do not cause to much trouble- my people have gone through enough these past few hours."

He soon heads down towards the dungeons to speak with Immanis and visit Formidonis. The royal guards stood tall and firm within the throne room, looking for potential threats...

Zazikel merely looked around for a moment, as if something was amiss, then nodded and sunk into the floor, disappearing into the shadows...

Deka slipped back against a wall, making to discreetly tail Draco. As he neared the dungeons, he slipped into his natural form, the numerous shadows in it providing more than enough cover and protection for him...

Far above the forest of Shadepines, the dark, light-streaked silhouette of the Stormweaver flew slowly, scanning the forest's extents. Things are not boding well for your....subjects of interest, Arashi echoed Gilgamesh's voice in the Dragon's mind. "I know. But it is convenient to watch how they behave. They deserved a fighting chance. But now...I owe them nothing" responded Arashi simply. And you will abandon them to their fate, food for insatiable Demons? What makes them any different from my victims? What keeps you from doing here what you did all those years ago to me? responded Gilgamesh. "They are strong. They may yet survive the Forest. Your victims stood no chance. And I am less inclined to acts of charity than I was in the past"...

The banshee wailed as the arrow tore into it, lodging itself halfway through, the arrowhead pointing out it's back as it screeched, the flesh around the arrow collapsing and degrading rapidly from the poison, making one last leap at Arsenic in an attempt to take him with it, as meanwhile, the Banshee attacking Vix twisted around, catching her in the face with a backhand, knocking her to the floor as the beast screeched, reaching for it's back in an attempt to reach the injury, just as a black, rune-covered blade plunged through it's stomach and out of the injury, Andruil heaving the beast up, before kicking it off, leaving the fragile, mangled corpse to tumble a short distance and slump against a tree...

The demonic cackling in Nitsunobue's ears faded into incomprehensible white noise as a final whisper echoed against the walls of his mind. Tell yourself what you wish, Nitsunobue....But ask yourself...Why is your kind gone? And why has nothing been done to stop it?. and with that, drowning silence engulfed Nitsunobue, as if all the sound in the world had simply ceased...

Septimus remained silent as he flew through the city towards the exit, noting that the cracks in the magical dome were being repaired, groups of mages and typical Zuppolandian workers split up across the inner and outer surfaces of the dome. The Dragon headed for the reflective, bubble like ring that was the entrance, passing through the now relatively quiet guards' quarters, before leaving the city, tucking his wings tight against him and rippling his tail as he felt the water engulf him, the relatively light movement launching him forward with a lurch, heading for the surface...

Nitsunobue growled low, Anarchy grumbling to him:

"LET ME AT THE COWARD! HE WILL SUFFER FOR THAT REMARK!"

Tranquility chimes in as well.

"No, Anarchy- this is something Nitsunobue must deal with HIMSELF."

Nitsunobue nods in agreement to the opposites, before he speaks aloud to the demon, unsure if it would here him or not.

"Mistakes of past not matter in future, demon! Perhaps am last of kind; that is beyond control. What matter now is stopping Archdemon! Must find elves!"

The Horned Tyrant soon begins to run, sniffing the air in hopes of finding the trio, or maybe the lizardkin...

Draco soon entered the dungeon, leaving the door open. What did he have to suspect?

Immanis heard the door open, and soon gave the Drake his food for the evening...

Ascending from the silty sea floor, Desrium spied groups of the large crabs combing the rocks for food as schools of colorful fish shot over them. Higher up, the shadows of large fish and other creatures were visible. Of them, the undulating figure of a sea serpent caught Desrium's attention. If it weren't for a serpent, he and Septimus would never have found Zuppoland. It seemed to be more than a mere twist of fate. In the darkness, the faint silhouette of a gigantic ocean dweller passed in front of the silver dragon. A low, haunting call passed through the water as the huge creature drifted. It had at least four pairs of large, sharp tipped fins and a powerful horizontally oriented tail...

Deka wasn't the only one following Draco. Zazikel had decided to do so himself, if only out of suspicion. While the Shade was difficult to detect, the Demon could still sense his presence. Whatever was going on, Draco seemed to be involved...

Vix grunted, shaking her head in an attempt to recover from the blow more quickly. She pushed herself up, fighting back the remnants of the daze, knowing that now was no time to be slowing down. "Thanks. I owe you one," she muttered to Andruil, hurriedly wiping the blood from her own blade.

Arsenic fired his second arrow into the banshee's face, pulling another from his quiver as he looked around. It seemed the numbers were thinning...but he only had so many arrows. Would these monsters give up on their own, or would they have to kill them all...?

"T'was my pleasure. Though I'm sure you could've finished it off yourself without a problem" responded Andruil with an encouraging smile, as above, a single haunting wail came from one of the Banshees in the trees, calling off it's sisters and retreating into the dark, as the last beast of the attacking group fell to an arrow lodged in the centre of it's now rapidly decaying skull, the creature slumping forward, falling to the ground with a dull thud as silence reigned once more...

Nothing but silence echoed back to the Horned Wyvern, the Demon that had spoken to him showing no sign of being present, if it was there at all...

As Septimus ascended from the ocean floor, he absorbed the beauty around him; beauty that had somehow lost it's appeal in light of the revelation he had just been exposed to. his head barely broke the surface, allowing him a breath of fresh air under the moonlit sky, looking like a massive horned crocodile, Desrium on his back, exposed, the Dragon proceeding to move forward through the water slowly, heading South West, still several miles from the shore, now black in the distance, though the roar of the waves smashing against the cliffs was still audible at this distance...

Water ran down Desrium's armor after he pierced the surface, glistening in the light of the moon. He opened his maw, releasing a puff of vapor that spilled out the sides of his mouth. It was now the second time in his memory that he found himself rising from the depths, looking to the sky. Fortunately, this time his greeting from the world was a clear, starry night above calm seas. He looked towards the dark shape that was the Asterian coast and said to Septimus "Did the bigger dragon wait for us?"
