"I appreciate the sentiment, but rest is not necessary," Tzeentch responded with the same apparent lack of emotion. "I am not that sort of being."

A dense fog, as dark as the blackest night, rolled over Freyr-Lunge. Blending with the early morning sky, it spread undetected. "COME OUT, COME OUT," a deep, distorted voice called out over the city, shattering the silence of the night.

Freyr-Lunge's guards stayed ever alert, still feeling endangered by the violence of the evening. Blades and pikes in hand, the guards lit their weapons up using their pyromancy, allowing them limited vision in the thick fog....

The peoples of Freyr-Lunge, upon hearing the voice, lock their doors even stronger, fearing what evil comes their way now.....

Draco and immanis are still fighting Deka in the dungeon.....

Septimus circled round once Desrium had descended, soon slowing to a hover as he eyed the small cave entrance from above, hovering as low as possible to avoid being noticed by any unwelcome eyes. the darkness was gradually giving way to morning, lances of light streaking across the horizon, slicing through cloud and treetop alike bringing to life the creatures of the day and driving back the denizens of darkness. It was little relief to the Dragon however. Despite his exhaustion, his mind still whirred away tirelessly, trying to find a solution to his Hydra predicament. He wasn't sure of it yet, but the clues hinted this creature was using more than sight and smell to follow him. And it showed no sign or intention of stopping. His natural instincts told him to run. Immortals could not die of old age...but that meant the only way he COULD die was at the claws, or blade, of another. Such a fact had honed the Hueilin's survival instincts to the point they were nearly overwhelming. As much as he wanted to confront the beast and stop it....his instinct to avoid something that could likely kill him forced him to do otherwise. The question was....How long would he be able to keep it up, if it didn't stop? His goals meant that he could not keep running forever. He could not go about his plan while being pursued by the beast....but how then, would he solve this problem?

Desrium stood up and stared down into the darkness. His red eyes flashed, casting its scarlet glow brightly with the armored being's concentration honed. The shadows gave way to the crimson light as he ventured forth into cave, seeing vines wrapping around the mouth of the cavern and growing along its walls. What compelled the vines to grow where the sunlight rarely reached? Fungus clustered around brown and gray stalagmites that poked up from the cave floor. The faint sound of flowing water reached his ears...

Badai scouts bounded through the farm land on top of their sand riders, the beasts eyes flicking around wildly, trying to spot a meal. The badai scouts intentionally kept their mounts hungry so that they would be as alert as possible. The three scouts came to a halt, just at the crest of the hill. Further along the valley, they could see the local lord mustering his forces. While a small army by human standards, to the Badai, it was a force to be reckoned with. One of the scouts turned to report what they had found, while the others set off again, to get a closer look.

Zazikel's shadowy head turned away from Deka, releasing him as he sensed the power in the city proper just outside. "It seems we have more intruders..." the Archdemon hissed, clutching the amulet tightly in his frustration...

Draco's blade glew brightly, and immanis soon yanked his axe out of the stone floor. The blade was chipped, but it was usable for now.

"Then we shall show them what intruders recieve," Draco growled.

OOC: Use of EE's character is only to continue activity while he is unable or unwilling to post, to clarify.

Seeing his enemies distracted, Deka released the object of his attention and fled into the shadows, seemingly disappearing altogether. The darkened sky allowed the shade to leave the confines of the building quickly.

Zazikel handed the amulet to Draco. "Hide this. Keep it safe. It does not matter how, just make sure that Shade does not get access to it. I will handle our new visitor..." With that, the shadowy mass retreated back into the wall, heading back outside to observe what was transpiring...

Draco nodded to Zazikel, before turning to immanis.

"Go aid Zazikel, immanis."

"Wait wait wait- you want me to go aid that THING?! What IS it?!"

"I'll tell you later, but you must promise to keep it secret," Draco replied.

"Alright," Immanis replied before he ran upstairs. He needed to get his weapons and armor ready, and fast....

Draco soon began to put the amulet back, Formidonis falling asleep...

The Guards stood their ground before the Palace of the draks, all of them in block formation, and awaiting the menace to show itself.

"This monster will fall before the doors of the Great palace!" A guard captain said from up front. "The blood of the demon shall be spilled before Greshlynk's eyes! FOR GRESHLYNK!"

A cheer of "For Greshlynk!" breaks out among the guard's ranks, who are soon joined by battle weary footsoldiers, archers, and knights....

"Oh, how novel," a voice laughed, a more subdued version of the voice that had called out into the morning a few moments ago. A part of the fog shot down to the ground in front of the blockade of soldiers, the shadowy material twisting in place until it formed the same armored giant that appeared in Tristan. "They talk of demons, yet they harbor one in their midst."

As the creature came forth from his dark shroud, the lead guard took to his were-dragon form, undaunted by his foe's size (though his subordinates are a bit less audacious than him). Flames gathered in the Were-dragon's mouth, and the form's dull red eyes gleamed from its black, scaled head. With a roar, the former captain charged the creature, his orginally two handed blade grasped in one scaly hand, along with a few of his more heroic guards, while the other simply watched in awe and horror.....

The captain and his followers collided bodily with what seemed to be an invisible barrier, stopping them dead in their tracks. "As much as I'd love to show you the futility of your actions, I haven't the time. Give me the one I seek."

Zazikel watched the exchange from the shadows, slightly insulted that the soldiers had used the term "Demon" so erroneously, not to mention derisively. Of course, it's not like he expected much more from them...

'Indeed,' Arsenic deadpanned, though he had to crack a smirk at the bird's actions. Vix blew a lock of auburn hair out of her face, cracking her neck and looking up at the sky to try and spot the dragons. A flash of red wings was only just visible, far above them, which explained why the dragons hadn't come to aid them in the fight. They had probably climbed higher to escape the piercing, painful shrieks of the banshees. Now they were circling lower, and from the look on Arsenic's face, he was in the middle of assuring Aviva that everything was alright.

"Well, on the bright side, this forest isn't so much long as it is wide. We could probably get to the other end of it by early morning if we try. Before mid-day definitely" said Andruil as he walked onwards, looking at the map, which depicted the forest like a barrier separating the mountain range from the rest of Aster. the mist hung thickly around them, slowly dissolving as the sun slowly began to rise, the light almost unnoticed by the travellers in the forest, in spite of it's gradual rise beyond the treeline...

The dragon swooped into the cave, spreading his wings widely to slow himself as he landed with a thump, his patterns lighting up, casting a light glow on the closest of his surroundings. glancing towards Desrium he rumbled lowly, looking at his surroundings, his pupils dilating, the cyan iris reduced to narrow rings, resembling the ring of an eclipse if not for the blue shade, the Dragon glancing back and forth as he eyed the cave walls, noting the vines. curious, the Dragon moved in further to see what else could be learned from this place...

Desrium stepped around the rock spikes and columns that were spread around the cave, finding him drawn into the darkness. Magic was imbued within the walls of the cavern, he had no doubt of it, for he felt its presence increasing. As he traveled further in, the trickling of water gradually grew louder. Eventually, the sound was bouncing all around him, echoing. A dim light appeared near the back of the cave, curved lines of light blue scrawling over the moist ceilings and walls. The cave floor gave way to a sparkling pool, the vines of the jungle dipping into the water. The dark green tendrils changed color where it entered the pool, taking on a bronze coloration with studs of amber peppering their surface. The leaves had a lining of a sort of gold...

"And who would that be, foul demon?" the captain growled, blade still gripped tightly in his reptilian clutch. The other guards kept their blades or pikes traiend on the monster as well....

Nitsunobue sniffed the group out anf was following close behind; how close, though, he was not sure. The wyvern growled slightly as he noticed the mists beginning to thin. No sun was visible to him yet, but he knew that they must be close if he came this far. Once he broke free from this mist fully, he would be able to see them more easily...

"None other than your patron archdemon, of course," the being replied, head turning toward the shadows that Zazikel hid within.

"Archdemon?!" The captain seemed shocked. "What archdemon?! Do you attempt to bamboozle me with lies?!" The guards took two steps foward, their pikes glowing brightly.

"Shove off, foul creature, and you will live. Stand against us, and you will fall!" The captain threatened.
