G4E:What weapon did you use?

I'm starting to wonder if Guran-Miraosu isn't the true final boss of MH3G. I'm thinking it might be the final village elder boss because it was shown in the opening for the game, which isn't something Capcom has done with final boss monsters and the person in the vid Gira posted got to it rather quick without resorting to cheating, which makes me think that it's an elder quest boss monster. There might be G-rank elder quests in 3G, though and it's possible this is the final boss of those quests and not normal elder quests.

Theory: The new boss monster (the Fatalis Lagi hybrid) may be the "missing link" between Leviathans and Elder Dragons, as it still has wing-structures, but they don't seem to provide it with flight. Kinda like how Khezu is the missing link between psuedo-wyverns and wyverns.

@ IK: Low Rank Lao Shan hammer. 'Twas an epic battle.

And you are probably true; true final boss monsters usually aren't revealed this soon (ie Fatalis in MH1 [only ol' Rathy], Yama in MH2 [only shows Luna and Kusha, and Blangonga briefly], Akantor in MHF2 [only tigger], Ukanlos/ White Fatalis in MHFU [only Narga, Rathian, and Rathalos], Alatreon or Ceadeus in MH3 [Rathy again, along with Lagiacrus]).

@ TT: Makes perfect sense, really, when you think about it.

There is a rare species for Lagiacrus too.

Some think its an "ancient Lagiacrus", because its fought in the Ceadeus area.

Wonder if its really big?

And are these rare subspecies supposed to be like Silver los and Gold Ian- special subspecies that are never seen anywhere else?

Yeah, they are very powerful and very rare species, rather then just an ordinary variation.

No video, not yet at least. There's very little info about it, not even any conclusive screenshots. Only know about it from the monster guide thing info.

Well, atleast it's been confirmed that a few new monsters will appear in Freehunting on Moga Island... Like Barroth, Gobul, Peco Subspecies, and Great Baggi... Now all we need is for Guran-Miraosu to appear in Area 10, and I will die a truly happy man... for more info, please refer to the MH Wiki discussion on MH3G...

I'm still waiting for Lagalis' (Guran) background music to be uploaded.

That **** is incredible.

..For once, we both agree on something. I kept watching the Guran Miraosu fight just for the music.

Just found the Rare Lagi vid, and I figure, I can definitly take it on. If I can solo High-Rank Lagi on Tri (Which I can with ease), then this demon lagi's going down... FAST.

Don't be so sure.... I can kill a high rank Rathalos with little trouble, but the silver one kicks my *** 3/5 times I fight it.

Lagi dies horribly if you use a lance. But the new one looks pretty entertaining to fight.

And it uses the tower music that Gold and Silver use. Awesome.

Indeed. perhaps that is the "ancient subspecies" theme in general.

Guran Miraosu theme is now up and running, TT!

LIAR.

That guy basically took the shit-quality audio from the Guran videos you linked before and called it a totally different video.

Waiting for a legit, quality rip of it thanks.

How DARE you call me a liar! That's the closest thing to the Guran Miraosu theme that you're going to get for quite a while... The process takes time, and right now, that's just to strave off your hunger for it for just a little while longer...

in th emeanwhile, Jhen Mohran sub vid and Hungryjho vids, coming up!

In more related news, I'm starting to think that Capcom chooses what area a monster inhabits by throwing darts at a map. While drunk.

Why?

And I want to see the Hungry Deviljho. I imagine it makes Devilblos look like a kitten.
