"When we get there, I will need to regain my strength before I can assist everyone," Tetto'eko remarked. "A few hours of meditation will do the trick, no doubt."

The pain in Nitsunobue's wound continued for a few moments, unabated, until it finally subsided back to a dull throb...

"Lets hope it doesn't take that long. We may not have that much time to spare" said Andruil lowly as he pressed on. the lake was in sight, the spring that fed it not much further away. If they were lucky, the injuries they had sustained would be easily healed, be it by Tetto'eko's magic or by herbs in the location. Andruil had some minor poultices and herbs on hand, but he wouldn't be able to administer it to them while they were on the move. Once they'd stopped however, he could tend to their wounds and perhaps improvise a couple of splints for Aviva and Arsenic...

Septimus smirked, his naturally glowing eyes flaring for a brief moment as one of the two jars of honey he carried levitated out of his satchel, landing softly in the Dragon's open hand as he held it forward for Desrium. "Feel free" growled the Exile with a smirk as he glanced out at the canyon, scarred by the fury of the Dragon and the armoured being...

"I do too," Tetto'eko said, nodding his agreement. "Fortunately, I do not think I strained myself as much as I believe. Had I used a bit more than strictly defensive spells, that would be completely different story..."

"Thank you" Desrium said before reaching out for one of the new jars and taking it into his metal grasp. He twisted the cover, earning a sharp pop when it came off and took in the thick, sweet scent that floated up from the glass. He then positioned the cover in his jaws so that one of his helm's fangs was almost dead center of it and then bit down, creating a dent to designate the jar as his own, so it wouldn't be mistaken for the other when Septimus fed his slugs. With that done, the Blood Omen sat down on the stone ground, the jar cover held in one hand, his head tilted back as he poured the viscous honey into his mouth.

Far off away, at the castle of Burzum, Akuro was still fast asleep, the demonic Kitsune's fur seeming to sway with each inhalation and exhalation. Last night had probably been the best sleep he'd gotten in years, especially since the last time he'd posessed one of those bishops in Tristan... The Kitsune's nose twitched as he felt someone poke him. He woke up, and saw before him the one sight that he least expected...

The sight of that damn woman who had make a mockery of him the other day, sitting just inches from his face.

With a startled yelp, the Kitsune leapt back onto his feet, his fur beginning to charge up with electricity, as he snarled at the newcomer. How had this woman found her way here, and why was she here? It didn't matter for him... he'd wipe her out here and now, as retribution for what she had done earlier...

To his surprise, the woman raised her arms up, as if surrendering. "Don't kill me, Master Akuro... It was only a joke, i swear..." The woman said, backing up slowly. This prompted an eyebrow raise from the demon, but before he could respond, the figure befor ehim changed.hair that was once green was now brown, and her skin changed to white. her clothing as well seemed to change with her, becoming a skin-fitting armor suit on her, with a cape draped over it.

Now, it was Mara who was standing over him, a sight that didn't seem to get rid of any of the tension in the air.

"You fool! You dare mock me with that form, then try and push it aside as a joke?!" Akuro growled, his eyes locked on Mara, who sighed.

"You seemed so peaceful sleeping here in this room, I couldn't help but having a little fun...but that's besides the point. I got some information you may want to hear... about what's going on around here..."

Nitsunobue kept quiet, and eventually reached the lake that lay befroe them, way before the others had. Nitsunobue sniffed the air, before taking a deep breath and drinknig out of the lake. The water made him feel better, if only because it helped calm his nerves. He waited patiently for the others, his eyes constantly scanning the area and his senses alert for any sign of danger.....

Sharavuras soon left Gorgoroth. His master had an errand for him to run, one of great importance. None were to know of this errand.... not even Burzum's appointed heir...

Burzum let out a yawn before he got up and marched his way to where Akuro was. He had unfortunate news for him, and what he would need to do for this cult to thrive and conquer...

Septimus meanwhile stood silently, weighing his options on what to do next. He could return to the caverns beneath the water's surface and search again for the Mana well. But he couldn't risk having Desrium over-feed on Mana a second time. He wasn't even sure it was entirely safe for the armoured being to be in that state, because he was quite literally unique. The closest he could get to understanding him would be to look into books on Golem construction, and even that was pitifully inadequate if what Sheemaka had told him was anything to go by. They could head off and roam. but question was....where next?

Before the man could say another word Alecia, with a final attempt at escape, kicked hte man in the stomach rolled over, and slipped her blade between his ribs with an almost musical "shhiiiick". She lay there for a few moments, breathing and calming herself. But she had a job to do, her employers needed that relic.

It wasn't long before Jiier returned to the cave, once again in his normal, unaltered draconic form. Landing on the outcropping with a heavy thud, the dragon regarded both Desrium and Septimus with a nod, saying nothing.

Just as the first of the honey reached the threshold of the jar about to fall into the armored being's maw, Desrium moved the container away to look at the maned drake, greeting him with his scarlet gaze. He returned his attention to the honey, turning his eyes to the sky and holding the jar over his mouth again, awaiting the taste of honey as it trickled in. Dust rose all around the outcropping and was steadily blown over the jungle by the wind shear at the cliff face. Mixed in with the light brown haze was smoke, almost white in color from the newly formed cave. The plume would be the only sign of what happened in the canyon before the event was masked by time...

Jiier glanced at the damage to the canyon, though he showed little interest or concern. Considering how the canyon was formed, damage to its walls was not uncommon. The dragon's eyes shifted back to Desrium for a moment before the beast was engulfed in a blinding light, its form shrinking back into the familiar simian shape within moments.

After his craving was sated, Desrium lowered the jar and covered it, making sure it was secure before handing it back to Septimus. "Thank you, again" said the armored being. He then looked to Jiier and asked "What did the rocks do to upset you?"

Septimus chuckled, nodding to the Armoured Being, before turning as he headed back into the cave, deciding to continue investigating the underwater cavern system on his own...Desrium could occupy himself with Jiier in the mean time....assuming the shapeshifter didn't decide to try and destroy him out of irritation...

"That was not anger, my simple friend. That was training," Jiier responded, taking a seat at the center of the outcropping, legs folded beneath him.

"Why are you training yourself to destroy rocks?" Desrium went on to ask, standing up and walking to Jiier's side.

Jiier looked at the metal being for a moment, covering his face with his palm. Removing the limb, he sighed. "I was honing my abilities, not my ability to destroy rocks. They serve like an archery target serves an archer in training."

"I see. Do you do this often then?" Desrium continued to inquire, sitting beside the shape shifter.

"I must," the simian replied with a nod. "To control the power that I wield."

"It is a great power. It was what made me what I was before" Desrium replied, looking down at the rocky platform on which he sat. "I could only rid myself of it, not control it"

"That is unfortunate," Jiier replied, stroking his chin with a hand, clearly in thought.
