"Excellent. We will tell the vendor of our mission and acquire the map free of charge" Desrium stated. He quickened his pace before he jumped off of the stone path, grabbing onto Jiier's scaled hide and pulling himself back onto the dragon. "Onwards"

The fountain of Greshlynk had become illuminated with multiple magical lights, giving the already majestic structure an even more sublime appearence. Many of the shops were getting ready to close up for the evening, although they were still open for business, and many of the peddlers were heading to the main inn to get some shut eye before hitting the road...

Draco turned to Zazikel.

"We can hide him in the Mountain range surrounding Freyr-Lunge," Draco offered hesitantly, not wanting to risk putting it too close to his people. "I'm sure there's a cave large enough for him to hide in during the day."

"Remember our talk, Desrium. Do not try my patience," Jiier warned after the armored being's abrupt ascent. The dragon made his way back into the city proper regardless, moving with some haste, knowing that the shops will not be open for long.

"I will try not to" Desrium replied, the fountain and the rest of the central plaza nearing. Desrium spotted a small wooden stand across the way and lined up on display were various trinkets and jewels. No doubt a map was also available to the two travelers.

Arsenic rubbed his abused neck, commenting with a smirk, 'Vix gives good backrubs; but she's endlessly amused by finishing them with an attempt to break your neck.' The elven woman shrugged and gave him an innocent look. "Wouldn't want to leave the job unfinished," she said, giving a quick stretch before turning to the pseudodragon. "I don't know about you, but I'd rather be here than lying in pieces back in the Shadepines."

Welden thought long, strategically aware that the city or region he chose would be the next place in his travels. "Is there any cities or large villages residing in the East?" Welden asks absentmindedly pointing in the direction. The old man shifted in his seat, most likely from discomfort, sighing the man finally repositions himself into a more comfortable seating arrangement.
"Yes, I do believe there are the Draxonians, a race of human's with dragon blood in there veins." Welden's red eyes widen in surprise. "Yes this would be a wonderful place to visit on your travels." The old man says smiling.
"And why is that Old one?" Welden asks already preparing to fly far, to this Draxon.
"The reason behind my statement is this: You are Draconian, this race value dragon blood it would be a good experience for a traveler like yourself." The old man sighed preparing to fall back asleep. Welden nods even though the man cannot see him. Raising to his full height, the Draconian heads for the exit, preparing himself for the journey at hand...

"Hm. I must make sure to...experience it first-hand" commented Andruil with a smirk at the comment about the backrub. "But first we'd probably best take care of our weapon commissions. I'll need both of you with me, seeing as you'd know best what traits you'd want in the weapons" he added, just as what sounded like a tavern song broke out below them, likely in the main hall of the inn. It seemed the Dwarves were celebrating something...

As Septimus left the cave he was greeted with a flock of the odd bird-wyverns that inhabited the areas, the twittering of a pair of larger, darker-coloured ones at the head of the flock seeming to lead the others. the winged creatures flitted back and forth around the Dragon, apparently attracted to the sight of the elegant, powerful drake as he soared through the air towards the South East. Septimus meanwhile was content to watch the eager creatures flitting back and forth, over, under, before and behind him, the larger Dragon chuckling amusedly as he rumbled lowly, a musical call coming from the Dragon's nostrils as puff of smoke puffed from them....

Guame, turning to face Discord, nodded. " Sure... why don't we allow the chimera a chance to speak his mind?" he said, his eye catching a very confused Trajan, who was scratching his head. Why Guame had shown up here an dnow of all places and times puzzled him, but he'd allow his guest the chance to give his opinion...

Discord grinned widely. "Excellent!" He stood and dramatically cleared his throat, before magically augmenting it so everyone could hear him without having to shout.

"My dear citizens of Tristan, I am certain we can all come to a reasonable agreement in this matter, can we not? Clearly, this is no longer a simple execution. We have witnesses! And, before our naive, religious friend here decides to anger any more inhabitants of Aster with his little 'reptiles are abhorrent monstrosities' spiel..." Discord paused, cocking an eyebrow at the offending Archbishop as if to say, I'm a chimera, and I'm smarter than you, halfwit.

Discord turned back to the audience and continued. "I'm fairly certain that, if some creature is capable of speech, then, and correct me if I'm wrong, they warrant a pretty good testimonial, don't you think?" After another short pause, he added, "And besides, what fun is there in just killing her without a bit of drama first? I didn't know anyone could make an execution boring, but you cardinals are certainly trying your best, aren't you?"

People all across the arena nodded in agreement, as did Trajan, Byakuren, Guame, Djinn and even a few of the guards. What Discord was saying, was completely right.

The Archbishop, on the other hand, would have none of it.

" You DEVIL!" He rasped, his face turning redder and redder with rage. "How dare you try and direct these souls on a one-way ticket to Hell's furnace! You are not jsut some creature... YOU ARE THE ANTI-CHRIST!" He bellowed, pointing a finger right in Discord's face. "You demonic entities are all the same... Vile, sly, horrendous, and only wanting to turn the souls of the living into your personal-"

SMACK!

The Archbishop staggered back, howling in pain, blood dripping from his right cheek. All eyes in the box, and those of the audience who saw it and gasped, turned to face Byakuren, who stared at the Archbishop, her breath short and ragged, and here eyes cold and piercing. "You know nothing about demons, do you?" Byakuren spat. "How dare YOU lump all demons and other similar creatures under the same moral umbrella. Just like not all humans are bad, or how not all reptiles are abhorrent, not all demons are evil, destructive monsters. Many, many times, I have seen humans far, far more monstrous than any demon, and you, are in that category, Archbishop Leo."

Trajan was stunned. Never had he seen ANYONE had the guts to do even stand up to the ruling church head, let alone do anything even close to what Byakuren had done. It was near suicidal to do anything liek that to any high-ranking church official, especially the Archbishop or Pope, but both Discord callnig out the Archbishop as 'naive' and Byakuren giving him a piece of her mind...

"Oh, you're so good to me," Discord tittered to Byakuren with a fake swoon, before stepping up to the Archbishop. "Two things real quick," Discord said in a disturbingly conversational tone, "One: I am not a demon, trust me. Unless, the categorization of demons has changed over time or something. And two: if I planned on dragging everyone present into... 'Hell,' was it? Well, if I planned of dragging you all down there, I would have done it by now. Oh, and I would need a map, too. Don't know where that is, after all." He leaned forward, staring the Archbishop in the eyes (not to mention invading his personal space), and added, "Oh, and try not to be so racist next time you go on a rant, okay? Believe it or not, I'm doing my very best to restrain myself from turning you into a newt right now, and, as a being of pure Chaos, that is not an easy thing to do, kapeesh?"

Archbishop Leo backed away, his eyes wide with rage and anger. "You animals.. you savages... You're all excommunicated, every single one of you..."

"I'm afraid you don't have the authority to do that." Trajan spoke boldly as he approached the balding man. "You are not the Pope, and as such, you can't excommunicate anyone."

"You must be joking, Trajan. We have no Pope as of right now, thus I'm in charge!"

Stebbing back rather cooly,Trajan snickered, his newfound confidence making Leo really uneasy. " Really, becuase I see our Pope right down there." He spoke, and turning around, he let out with a loud voice, "According to new evidence, Dione is found to be innocent of the crime. Release her at once!"

With this, the crowd burst into an uproar. Due to Discord and Byakuren standing up to Archbishop Leo and giving him a piece of their minds, they were now seeing cracks in the power of the corrupt church officials. Now, what had once been complete authority was now crumbling around the church officials, who realized that the tide had turned against them. Down in the arena, the guards undid the chains holding Dione there while Thems seemed to smile, atleast as best as a snake could. All thruought the crowd, people were cheering, especially Lamia and the Salesman, who were overjoyed to see Dione innocent.

Back up in the box, Djinn pulled out the golden goblet from her pocket and twirled it around. "Now this kind of thing is something you don't see everyday." She whistled, both referring to the goblet and to the situation around her... and to the church officials and the Archbishop cowering from what was going on...

Discord stretched his arms above his head and yawned. "Boy, do I love messing with the system!" he remarked. "I do believe this is the best birthday ever! If it's even my birthday. Still haven't figured that out yet..."

Djinn was about to respond when a detonating roar blasted across the city of Tristan. people covered their ears in pain as the thundering roar reverberated through the air, and even Thems was shaking her heads to try and get rid of the awful sensation. Byakuren, however, seemed solemn silent.

" W-what the hell was that?" Trajan shouted in confusion. It was only then, that the dragon riders pearched ontop of the rim noticed the approaching light. It was getting brighter and brighter, and with it, seemed to be the beating of leathery wings.

" Sir, something is approaching from the east! " One of the dragon riders shouted down to Trajan. before he could respond, Byakuren leapt up onto the railing, then up onto the top of the viewing box, where she squinted her eyes. Then, she saw it, for what it truly was... and what it's arrival meant.

" Why... why are you coming here now of all times?" Byakuren spoke silently, before she made her way back down to the inside of the box...

A noise from the front of the wooden building caused Myrn to pause in her effort to chew through the woodwork. She glanced to the side, where her orange gaze fell on the portly butcher, peering around the shop's front corner with a look of surprise on his face that was quickly turning into anger. The gryphon took a single slow step backwards, just before the butcher let out a loud shout and advanced on her, waving his arms in an angry attempt to scare her away. Not intending to wait around until he decided to go inside for a knife, Myrn immediately turned and bolted around the back of the shop and away, heading back in the direction of the stable. If she was lucky, she'd be able to return before the Gryphonner came for the flock's morning feeding...

Dhoulmagus hissed in reply, "What have I to gain from betraying you, mighty Archdemon?"

With that, the creature's form began to slowly levitate off of the ground, his tentacles hanging loosely downwards. Draco's form began to change to his were-dragon form, before he turned to Zazikel.

"It appears our work is done here..."

Thankfully for the two travellers, the wooden stall was still open for business...

"Then let's be off," Zazikel growled, taking to the air with a flap of his wings. "I have an amulet to study."

Discord frowned curiously, then vanished, reappearing in his natural form, hovering over the box and staring off in the distance. "Ooh, what's this? Another uninvited guest, I assume?" He flipped upside down and looked at Byakuren. "So, who's your friend, hm?" he said with a knowing smirk...

Draco nodded, and took off as well, flying towards the mountains around Freyr-Lunge. Dhoulmagus followed, floating slowly along after the king, simply staying quiet at the moment...

"Your move. Do try to ask nicely," Jiier growled as they approached the stall. The dragon remained a fair distance away, figuring it would be less imposing if only Desrium approached.
