Zar turned his head to one side and cocked it as if considering if the human would make a good meal. In all reality he was just playing with the half-dead man; he opened his jaws, deliberately showing off the rows of sharp recurved teeth, before he growled, "Where did I come from? Well, you see, young one, when a male dragon and a female dragon - " "Zar!" Vix called, half-laughing as she cut off the dragon's sentence. Zar looked back at her, a smirk tugging at one corner of his mouth. "What?" he asked innocently.

How many are there? and how many do you think we'll need? As he posed his questions, Arsenic was looking around, his gaze falling on the elves still fit to carry messages great distances.

Andruil laughed as he overheard the conversation, watching on with crossed arms as the Dragon toyed with the newcomer. "Don't mind her, Zar. Carry on!" commented the knight with a half-laugh, though he did make a genuine motion to investigate the newcomer. His scent was solitary. He wasn't part of a group, so an ambush wouldn't be a problem...

It wasn't long before the trio were out in the open once more, the silver moon shimmering overhead as Septimus looked up. As he walked, he looked at Jiier, then at Desrium on his back. "So, where to next? Any ideas?" he asked...

"Calm, child," the raven replied gently, closing its eyes and bowing its head. A soothing aura engulfed the two. "I have chosen a staging ground where we will all meet and discuss our next steps. Many of the land's primary factions have already been informed where to meet. There is time," it explained, and as its eyes opened, it lifted one of its wings, revealing a large piece of paper that seemed to appear out of no where. The bird grasped the end of the paper in its beak and brought it in front of Arsenic. It was a map, one identical to that given to the lizardmen, detailing the location of the ancient shrine, Agnaroth...

Before Jiier could respond, the satchel on Septimus' side began to glow, and a voice boomed in the minds of all those around it. "DUE NORTH-WEST THERE IS A SHRINE THAT BORDERS ON THE COMING DARKNESS. BE THERE AT ONCE," it roared, almost throwing the satchel open with the energy it was emitting.

Elias hung his head then looked up and smirked softly " well that's very nice dragon but i already know how reproduction happens " He said as his attention turned to the girl and the knight . "hello there " he said bowing at them then standing up straight again his hair covering most of his dirt covered face .His clothing was torn at various random points and his chest and arms were covered by old blood stained , dirt covered bandages that were tearing at points also . he began walking toward them but collapsed after a few steps . He got up back shaking a bit as he took a few more steps toward them . " my names is Elias " he said with a smile . His movements were slow and weak and the bags under his eye looked like they had been there for a few days .

Desrium looked back at the satchel, watching the flap flutter and ripple for an instant before it fell still once more. "Was that Angry Box? Because if it was, it seems very informed of the situation" said the armored being

Zar gave a low chuckle at both Andruil's comment and the newcomer's response, the dragon turning to face him and crouching, catlike, in the spot where he stood. He'd seen prey that seemed to be dead get up and sprint off in a last burst of energy; this human, though he seemed to be starving and weak, could be hiding a trick or two. Vix watched the human's approach, biting back a smile as he collapsed. Amusing as the fall might have been under different circumstances, he seemed to be in a bad state; he looked as if the whole of the forest had had a go at him. She gave a short, polite bow in return, her serpentine braid slipping forward over her shoulder. "Vixen. Call me Vix; everyone does," she replied, introducing herself in turn.

Arsenic took the map and studied it with a slight frown. The location didn't look like anywhere he'd been before...he murmured, Am I to wait for Andruil and the others?

"That is for you to decide," the raven replied, glancing around the village. "When you are ready, go to the shrine and wait. Any aid you bring is more than welcome," it concluded, fluttering off the elf's shoulder and into the treeline surrounding the village.

"I don't think it was..." Jiier growled, staring uneasily at Septimus' satchel. Although he didn't know exactly what this "angry box" was, considering what the elven lord just gave them, he had some idea as to the cause of the commotion.

"I shall investigate" said the armored being, who promptly worked his way to Septimus' side and climbed down the strap of his satchel, opening it thereafter and then dropping into the cavernous bag. There he saw the orb bestowed upon one of the shelves, still wrapped in its delicate fabric. The chained up chest on the opposite side of the bag was as it normally was: still and silent until disturbed.

"It was not the box" Desrium reported once he had climbed the shelves and stuck his head out of the satchel. "There seems to be one that knows of our new acquisition already"

Septimus's eyes widened noticably, taken by surprise. the energy released was not the same as that of the Cursed Tome, so he knew that Desrium's guess wasn't correct even before he went to investigate. However, that meant it could only be one thing. The Eye of the Afreet. "Well then, I suppose that answers our question of where next. It seems we have a heading" rumbled the Dragon as he flexed his wings, the guards giving the two Dragons some space as Septimus picked up a bit of speed before leaping into the air, his wings beating powerfully as he lifted himself upwards...

"Andruil" responded the half-elf as he approached the man, noting that he happened to have Andruil's uncle's name. Taking a closer look at him, he seemed very much like he was barely keeping himself together. his clothing was tattered, dry blood coated dirty bandages across his chest, he seemed to sway slightly from exhaustion, hunger, or both, and the look in his eyes related a story of hardship that he could sympathise with. During the revolution, he had tended to many like him. "Now, as wonderful as it is to chat, I believe there are more pressing matters to attend to, no?" he said with a smirk as he lifted one of the man's arms over his shoulder, helping him towards the fireplace, already crackling brightly, an aura of warmth swirling around the camp from the unnatural whitish golden flames...

Jiier was uneasy at the thought of listening to a voice from no where, but considering they were on a mission to spread the word of a unicorn Desrium saw in his mind...this was not the most far fetched of ideas. The dragon followed after Septimus, rising into the air with a few powerful flaps of his wings.

As Septimus climbed into the skies, Desrium gripped the flap of the satchel and pulled it over the bag. He then jumped off from the shelf, landing on his back at its base, a soft thump created from his barely discernible impact. He sat up and braced against the collection of relics and trinkets, getting into a meditative stance and then letting himself drift into his mental plane. The time of reckoning was fast approaching, he took advantage of his opportunities to extend control over his inner essence...

Elias Sighed as he felt his arm being pulled over the half elf . " thank you " he said softly and under his breath not wanting to show as much weakness as he was at the current moment. The heat he felt from the flames of the fire felt good as he sighed softly , " you dont have to do this for a stranger like me " he said softly as he closed his eye taking in the heat .

"What kind of knight would I be if I ignored a dying man in the woods, hm?" asked Andruil with a chuckle as he led him to the foot of the tree where they had made camp, helping him down against the trunk...

Elias smiled softly as he leaned onto the tree his head hung down for a moment as he let out a small sigh. "well in any case thank you I would have been dead in a few days if I hadn't run into you all ." he said as he looked up at them smiling faintly still covering the right side of his face with his hair as his left hand moved his sword out of the way.

Nitsunobue's quest was a tough one. He needed to find others to flock to the banner of good. But what was he going to do? No one would trust a brute of his caliber. Besides, why would most things that COULD possibly udnerstand him sympathize with his cause? why would they care? Most things were probably animals or other dragons, so the problems of the more advanced cultures wouldn't be much of a problem to them (at least in their eyes).

But there were some he thought of. He could call upon the goblins of the forest, so, at the very least, he could have some muscle to aid his already massive size. He could perhaps call upon the Lizardmen of the South, but that land was risky to travel through, even as a beast of his massive bulk. But he neede a plan, and a fast one at that...

Vix gave a soft smile, saying as she dug out an empty waterskin and went to the stream to fill it, "I'm no stranger to helping people when they need it. It's kind of my life." She came back and tore a strip of cloth from her sleeve with her teeth, wetting it before offering the water to Elias. "Here. Relax and have a drink; I'll clean your wounds," she added, gesturing to the filthy, bloodstained bandages.

Arsenic gave a soft sigh, his mind reeling a bit from the speed at which things were happening. He'd only just gotten back, and he already had somewhere else to go....Deciding he'd rather have Vix with him, and Andruil too if the knight decided to come along, he headed toward where Aviva had caught and was hungrily gulping down something so small and indistinct he couldn't make it out. He'd wait for them to get back before he acted; he needed a rest almost as much as the black dragoness did.

Elias took the water and drank it ." thank you " he said as He relaxed and let he clean his wounds " most of them are old and there's one that has scared over " he said as he closed his eye and sighed

Vix worked quickly and efficiently, her movements smooth with the ease of long practice as she carefully wiped dirt and grime from the areas around the wounds; when the rag became too dirty, she turned and walked back to the stream to clean it, wanting to avoid an infection if she could. As she walked back, she remarked teasingly, trying to lighten the mood, "Were you mauled by a particularly vicious bramble?" She went back to work, a calm, detached air surrounding her as she did so; this was what she knew how to do best. Take care of people who needed it, offering them warmth, food, and shelter, even temporarily.

" no not really I've just been on my own for a good six months now trying to survive " Elias said as he looked up at vix . He looked down at the l scar on his chest close to his heart and sighed softly as he then looked back at the fire taking in ts heat letting it relax him more so.

"And you have yet to purchase yourself a horse, supplies or even a bedroll. I take it life in the wilds isn't quite as comfortable as you expected it to be?" said Andruil with a chuckle as he glanced off to one side of the camp, towards the nearby river. Walking over to the tree, he drew from behind one of the outstanding ridges of the trunk a long, smooth pole, sharpened at the tip to a point. A fishing spear he had crafted a few months ago. Time to catch dinner...
