A juvenile in Claw's herd walked over to Scarback. "Who are you?"

scarback was suprised when a juvenile thrinzo appraoched him. he growled to the youngster:"i am scarback." scarback hoped that the adult thrinzo's hadn't seen him near the youngster.

Steeltalon tensed slightly. She didn't really like to talk about her mother's death. "It's in the past now," she growled softly. She flicked a glance toward Silver, who was half-hidden by a large fern.

"What are you doing here?" screeched a voice from behind Scarback.

The juvenile looked up "Daddy!"

Darkness lowered his head. I'm sorry... he growled. He turned back and put his head on the ground. You really screwed that up... Darkness thought to himself. He sighed and looked blankly at a nearby tree...

scarback looked behind himself and saw an adult male thrinzo. he heard the youngster say that this was its father. scarback knew he would need to be quick and careful about what choice he made. if he made the wring one, the juvenile's mother might see him. reching his decision, scarback fled to the left of the youngster. there were many trees that would prevent the adult trhinzo from being able to chase scarback easily.

THe Juvenile fled back to the herd. The big male headed towards where scarback ran. He tried to get in, But he was too big. He stomped away,keeping an eye out to see if the raptor would strike.

Switchblade cocked her head in thought. "I guess I'm kind of like a raptor, but with head crests and a long neck." She couldn't think of a better explaination.

It is... Darkness sighed. I don't even remember my parents, and I really don't mind not remembering them, and I assume others are the same. Darkness growled, still staring blankly. I'm sorry, for now and for before. he growled softly, not daring to look at the female. I really did miss you and Silver, thats why I had to come back... Darkness growled, his voice getting quieter by the second. He sighed again, and continued to stare blankly at the tree....

Steeltalon sighed and closed her eyes. "It's not like I was angry enough to kill someone," she growled more softly still. "At least, not someone I consider an ally."

Darkness finally looked at the female, a sorrowful, yet happy expersion on his reptilian face. I was so crazy about finding a mate...I was blinded by sorrow and determination....I almost forgot about you and Silver... Darkness growled as he looked ahead blankly...

scarback looked back and saw the thrinzo wasn't chasing him. however, he knew that the thrinzo was waiting in case scarback come too close to the herd. scarback knew that he would need to be aware of what was going on behind him and infront of him when he was near dangerous herbivores.

Redtooth brought his head down in front of the Trike and gave it a wary look. He hissed, "And I would like to know why you're here, if I may be so bold as to ask. Or are you unaware that I live here?"

Darkness sensed a sign of annoyance starting to build in Steeltalon's voice, so he decided to remain quiet. Darkness continued to stare at the stream, its slow moving waters having a calming effect on him...

Steeltalon lifted her head to stare at the sky through the gaps in the tree branches. She understood that Darkness wanted a mate, but there probably wouldn't be any females near her territory. "My father was the same way," she growled after a short pause. "He was determined to let everyone else know that my mother was his mate."
