"Now the real fun begins." Jerrin said smiling as he landed on the other side of the wall surveying the surrounding forest. "Make sure to look for any cave like entrances that where they will be its day time so they won't be able to leave their tomb, its when their most vulnerable." Jerrin explained rushing off into the forest his speed helping him search the forest quite easily and efficiently. Jerrin was even more impressed when he saw that Spike could fly, this added to the Argonian's worth. Still Jerrin was focused on finding the Coven praying that Claudius will be residing within the catacomb like nest of Forsaken. Continuing through the forest Jerrin rushes off searching for his sworn enemies hiding hole...

"I'll keep a lookout" Spike Snarled as he lifted off the forest floor using his sense of smell and sight to scan the surrounding forest for any sigh of vampire lairs.

The shadow Desrium pulled the blade free with a growl, its bottom jaw hanging open as it heaved, as if it were breathing. "You cannot ignore what you are, Blood Omen," the doppelganger growled, having much more emotion in its tone than the actual Desrium.

A new sound soon reached Septimus' ears: the sound of manic laughter. But it was not just any laughter. It was the laughter of his father, Arashi. Seconds after the sound began, bolts of lightning tore through the sky around Septimus, the bright lines of energy somewhat visible even in the oppressive dark.

The ground around Arashi began to quake, as Eredar's taunting laughter resumed from where it was first silenced.

Cyris rolled forwards, escaping the head of the mace along with the rest of the incoming weapon. The elf fired a shot into the beast's chest, the bolt landing next to the one she had stabbed him with...

Icil ran through the catacombs, nearly as fast as Kard had ran earlier...

The undead warrior let out a choking noise, the zombified brute collapsing onto his knees in pain. The undead champion got back onto his feet, thrusting his mace upwards towards Cyris, aiming to strike her right in the gut...

Kard soon exitted the catacombs, noting ivan had gotten back to his feet. He turned back in, gesturing for Icil to hurry.

"Come on, come on!" Kard said, almost hissing.

"You are a puppet of Eredar. I am a servant of Moria. We are only similar in likeness" Desrium retorted matter of factly. He then proceeded to charge at his shadowy copy, spear at the ready.

The shadowy Desrium seemed to jolt at the name. "You know not what you say. How could you? The name you invoke abandoned this land millions of years ago," the doppelganger taunted, beginning to circle the Blood Omen. "You are alone, in the darkness of your very being. The part of you that defined you...that you abandoned."

The armored being planted one sabaton down on the lifeless ground and spun around on it, lining up his doppelganger within his scarlet sights. Seconds later, he was barreling towards the copy, intercepting its circular path shortly after. Slamming his leading foot down, Desrium transitioned into another spin, swinging the gold and silver spear low and sweeping the other Blood Omen's legs out from under it...

The hit launched Cyris into the wall with a loud thud. She was lucky to not have any broken bones as she stood, the clearing dust revealing her again before she wiped the blood from her mouth. The elf rammed her spearbow into the monster's stomach with seemingly unnatural speed before pulling it out and backing away...

Icil dashed to Ivan and Kard, breathing somewhat heavily from all of this running...

Reacting almost instantly, the doppelganger brought its legs close before kicking out with both, its heavy metal boots clanking against Desrium's chest, sending him sliding back. The shadowy version of the Blood Omen got to its feet, blade at the ready to intercept another attack...

Septimus's lips curled into a snarl as he was reminded of his father's actions, and their consequences. The sound of his laughter however, threw him off. Arashi rarely if ever laughed. The Dragon fought against the oppressive dark, closing his mind to his emotions. If this was real, it was highly illogical. Arashi's actions were unforgivable and cruel, but the way he spoke seemed to deny malicious intentions in spite of it. He was deluded and likely insane, and the Scholar loathed him for his actions, but he was not explicitly malicious...

Arashi snarled lowly as he focused on channelling the ley energies, ignoring the events around him, the Stormweaver determined not to let up. He had suspected this may happen. Boldness born of desperation was common in all beings, gods included, it seemed. Spread doubt through the ranks of the allies in a last ditch effort to disable their plan. Then again, that could easily have been him being optimistic. Regardless, this was the only plan they had, and he would not see it go for nought. He had not set in motion plans for Aster to see it destroyed now. He would not allow it...

Bassunka was quick to reclaim his staff as he took on a defensive stance glancing at the various hellhounds warily, waiting for their next move...

Andruil meanwhile, was watching for Sammael, keeping his guard up, the Knight calming somewhat from his feral outburst, retaining all the focus and awareness of his wolf form, while doing away with the impatient fury that accompanied it. He inwardly thanked the Council Mages for their earlier assistance. Had they not renewed the Wards, he would likely have frenzied on the Hellhound, which, while it would undoubtedly have caused immense damage to the beast, would likely put him in numerous vulnerable situations as well...

Icil looked to Ivan, noting the fact that he had recovered somewhat quickly. The succubus then eyed the ceiling with a defiant nod, notifying that she was prepared to ascend...

The undead warrior let out a cough of pain, dusty form soon collapsing into a heap. The udnead warriro reached out towards Cyris, before its body went limp, disintegrating into dust. Suddenly, the wall on the opposite end of the tomb produced a door for Cyris to enter...

Nard nodded, and the group began to ascend. As they ascended, Kard turned to Ivan.

"so, old man... when were you gonna tell us your secret?"

"well... I was hoping you two wouldn't ever have to find out..." Ivan replied. "But, I guess I have some explaining to do now, eh?"

Cyris picked up the large mace with some effort, lifting the heavy weapon after a few seconds. She walked through the passageway, carrying the mace over her shoulder...

Icil continued to ascend, listening in on Ivan and Kard silently...

As Cyris came out the other side of the passageway, she was greeted with another tomb, this telling the story of a blind guardian with incredible passion for his mission, serving his master even beyond the latter's death. Suddenly, the sarcouphagus in the center split open, an odd, thin shape approaching, dancing about like a performer, his hands protected by twin katars. A low hiss exitted the being, as he approached Cyris...

"Well? care to explain?" Kard growled.

"Well..." Ivan replied.

"Speak!" Kard roared in anger.

"Alright, arlight," Ivan sighed with obvious sadness. "You see, when I was young, I was quite foolish. I had been born under Algol's reign, and I knew so much aboutthe world. I had wanted to preserve this knowledge, as I feared that it would all disappear eventually. So, I sought out a witch, and, with her power, she gave me eternal life. But it came at a cost... you see, when the spell came upon me, it granted my immortal life. However, my soul was taken from me, and I was cursed to become a slave of the witch, simply another mindless underling to do her bidding. I managed to break her hold and escaped, but my curse had already afflicted me- I had become a scourge, a demon of my society, and I was cast out, allowed to stay only by Algol's kindess and foresight. I served as his advisor, and, when he died, I made my way through the world. But I knew I would forever be branded what I was- a vampire. Through milennia of training, have I weakened my thirst for blood, and I have become resilient to the sun, but I still feel my hunger at times, and the sun's effect on my form. Please, don't treat me as a monster too.... I have done enough in my life, and all I want is to be treated as a human once more..."

Ivan's eyes grew heavy with sorrow...

"Ivan, I know your pain. People constantly threw me out of cities for being partially demon. My father raised me until he was killed for raising me by a demon hunter. My mother was killed soon afterwards, leaving me as an orphan. Cyris has hunted many a demon, and she seeks me to be her next target. The truth is: I'm a hybrid." Icil explained...

"But... you had no choice in the matter," Ivan replied. "I did. They were wrong to discriminate against you, as you were born with your abilities... perhaps my people were not so wrong to hate me. At least you have found people who accept you for who you are... until now, I've known only one man who respected me after I became this... this... this monster. I've managed to stay in the cities only because I have hidden this secret..."

Kard's face a bit softer as he bgan to realize these two outcast's problems... and that people similar to him most definitely threw both of them out.

"I... I'm sorry, both of you. I.... I don't know what to say..." Kard said in shame.

Desrium stopped in a somewhat hunched position a few feet away, leaning forward slightly with his spear level at waist height. Making use of his range advantage, Desrium dashed forward a few steps before jabbing the spear at his shadowy reflection...

The Hellhound directly in front of Bassunka strode towards him at an almost casual pace, snapping its jaws, threateningly...

Zazikel's tendrils lashed out, striking Nitsunobue in the face with the same force as the wyvern's own tail, leaving scorching marks of dying flesh along his face and sending him sprawling backwards. The Archdemon stood up, shaking his head vigorously with a hiss. "Impressive, wyvern, but ultimately futile. I suggest you give in now and save yourself the pain of a slow death..."

From behind Andruil, there was a blur of motion, closely followed by a bright flash of light and a howl of pain. Sammael had attempted to ambush the warrior from behind, only for a bolt of electricity to arc down into the Hellhound, sending the charred beast flying, before skidding to a halt on the dusty ground. Floating down from above Andruil was a palanquin, not unlike those used by the Slann, but somewhat smaller, and more worn looking. Seated atop it was a very familiar Skink, who smiled down at Andruil as he approached. "You seem to have a knack for getting yourself into trouble, my friend," Tetto'eko chirped...

As Discord continued his journey through the darkness, he paused for a moment, staring at his clawed hand thoughtfully. With a shrug, he motioned through the air, as if trying to draw an invisible line with his fingertip. It left a trail of yellow light behind it, but this disappeared as suddenly it was made. Discord frowned. Well, he still didn't have what he really wanted yet, that much was for certain. He was starting to doubt if Eredar would even listen to his proposition before being annihilated by his rebellious creations. Probably not. Ah well, it was his loss. Only thing Discord disliked about his current situation was the lack of a battle to watch, anyway...

Jerrin sprinted through the forest, faster than any man could with out some kind of enchantment. Speeding towards the a rocky outcrop deep in the forest Jerrin soon noticed something, sniffing the air he turned course what he found did not surprise him but it still enraged him. The smell of blood was what attracted the Lycan's presence, he may control himself from tearing livestock and humans apart but the smell of their blood still attract him which has always been an easy way to discover his quarry. Laying before him was the blood splattered bodies of three children, their throats ripped from their bodies. They were most likely snatched up in the villages surrounding Freyr-Lunge, it is unlikely that these predators of the night would never hunt in a city so heavily fortified. Growling in disgust, Jerrin struck his gauntlet fist into a tree hearing tree creak and crack from the force of the blow! Composing himself, Jerrin soon found what he was looking for... A blood trail. Sniffing the air and following the trail it took him little to no time to find the cave entrance to the Coven of Vampires. Lifting his head up, Jerrin searched the skies for the Argonian, spotting Spike Jerrin waves to him.
"Come I found it!" Jerrin said lowly not wanting to alert his quarry to their inevitable demise...
