"Of all things a Therizinosaurus... Alright, there's really nothing I can do for you unfortunately. All I can say is to wash it somewhere with clean water." Fish told him. She turned her head at the sound of dragging to see Nyx dragging a Corythosaurus in their general direction. She immediately got up, and went to assist him. Fish grabbed it with her maw, and pulled with her arms as well. Soon they had it close enough to the lake that they could watch the kill from their perch and not worry about anything taking it.

Thorn Jaw awoke after a time with a throbbing pain in his head, opening his eyes the Ceratosaur found himself where he had left himself between the two boulders on the beach of the river he calls his territory. Bringing himself to stand was a challenge, his body still sore and bloody luckily for Thorn Jaw the small raptor did not leave to much damage on his spotted hide. Making his way to the waters edge the large carnivore slowly eases himself into the flowing water, feeling the water clean his already healing wounds. Before he had entered the water Thorn Jaw had discovered the claw marks in his hide were not seeping blood anymore, although they were not scabbing over yet either. Hissing in soothing pleasure the Ceratosaur continued to clean his wounds, knowing the injuries he sustained were not as bad as he once thought. Standing out of the water Thorn Jaw searched the riverbanks for any sources of worry or future prey, to his relief the banks were clear of aquatic predators and he could make out a small herd of Styracosaurus. Thorn Jaw has tangled with these Certopsians before and knows how to hunt them without unnecessary harm to himself. Stumbling back up the bank, sore from the previous fight Thorn Jaw once more eases himself down between the two large boulders watching the forest unfold before him...

Scar Tooth had once more taken a detour and doubled back to the Diplodocus carcass. Eyeing the dead Sauropod the Carnotaur stepped into the clear space towards the carcass knowing full well even larger carnivores will arrive shortly. Growling in nervous fits, Scar Tooth felt as if he were completely exposed which he was. However the thought of being attacked out in the open caused him to worry the most seeing as he may be able to hold his own in the forest but out on the plains he is at the mercy of the super predators. Quickly, the Carnotaur rushed into the body cavity ripping away large chunks of flesh and devouring them quickly. Scar Tooth would stuff himself quickly so he may escape without notice and escape harm from large carnivores...

Chompers head snapped up, hearing the sound of fighting and more blood could be smelt on the wind. Walking more quickly now, the gray giga moved towards the inviting sounds and scents that caused his empty stomach to growl loudly.

"I could stop by on occasion, help catch meals, help keep threats away" suggested Crusher. The suggestion served both ends. On the one hand, Steeltalon would have assistance taking care of Silver and keeping safe, and on the other, Crusher wouldn't be as prone to roaming aimlessly, and thus, less likely to kill himself...

Fatalis soon walked back into the general area of the kill, having left the Carcha to whatever future she would face. He was disappointed though. That was hardly the reaction he had hoped for. Even the taunts didn't work...

Neighboring Thorn Jaw's territory a thriving pack of Velociraptors lounge around their den site. Silence, the pack leader quietly watches his subordinates as he always does, searching for any trouble and overall paying attention to their needs. To Silences left, Huntress the alpha female waits for Silence to make the call she has been waiting for. Silence suddenly turns his head facing his mate, almost as if he had sensed what she was thinking. A small bob of the head tells everything to Huntress as she begins mobilizing the pack, preparing the speedy carnivores for the hunt. Immediately the Raptors form up and spread out funneling into the under brush as quietly as possible. Huntress leads the hunting party of 10 through the forest and out onto the plains searching for a suitable source of food, even quieter then the rest is Silence as he follows from the rear driving his pack with a silent sense of power that only his pack mates could know. Continuing through the long grass of the plains Huntress finally finds what they have been searching for, a lone hadrosaur most likely abandoned because of sickness or age. Quietly the Raptors surround the herbivore making sure to keep their striped bodies hidden. Huntress is soon accompanied by her mate Silence his eyes fixed on the lone hadrosaur waiting for his opening. Eye's narrowed Silence and Huntress are the first to attack the hadrosaur, launching their muscled bodies at the unsuspecting herbivore. Landing on the side of the hadrosaur they begin tearing with their foot claws and hand claws. Just as Huntress and Silence landed the rest of the pack joined in the attack landing decisive blows on the hadrosaur's neck and under belly. The herbivore was so startled by the attack that it didn't even have time to retaliate, the attack was over the raptors were standing in a semi circle around the hadrosaur watching, waiting for it to bleed out. within five minutes the hadrosaur toppled over dead from the many wounds that befell its old hide. quickly the raptors began to feed, Huntress and Silence both sharing the most valuable part of any prey animal...Its liver. Continuing to gorge the Raptors wish to finish before larger carnivores realized there had been a kill. Silence lifted his bloody snout out of the carcass taking a precautionary sweep of the immediate area hoping that they were not in another pack's territory, he was in no mood for a fight...

Djinn bit into the back of the Corythosaur, trying to help as well, despite being about half as big as either of the other carnivores. His teeth sank into the flesh of the herbivore as he pulled back, ignoring the slight pain in his face as he did so...

"I've seen you do better Nyx." Fish said, raising an eye ridge at Nyx's catch. "I haven't see you do better." Nyx countered, and sunk his teeth into the animal, taking a large hunk of flesh, and walking off to feed. He had a feeling more freeloading carnivores would be on the seen soon, and he didn't want to have to fight again, at least not yet. In the mean time, he began gnawing on the food he had taken, breaking any bone and ripping flesh. Soon there was nothing but some blood on the ground to prove he had eaten something.

Fish sighed in defeat, she had almost never been shot down so quickly in her life. Either something was up with Nyx, or her teasing needed to be taken up a notch. Either way, she needed to do something.

Silence and the other raptors make short work of the Corythosaur, having consumed all of the most valuable organs and devoured most of the meat the carcass was near being bones. Silence soon surveyed the plains once more feeling a strange sense of something o somethings watching his pack. He remembered feeling the same stalked feeling when they took the Corythosaur down to begin with, what ever is watching him and his pack has been here for quite a while. Sensing that they were not welcome on the plains anymore Silence nods to Huntress to begin the packs departure back to the den.
"The time has come for us to bring what extra meat we have in our bellies to our pack mates in the den...Come we have over stayed our welcome." Huntress says putting Broken Jaw in charge of leading the pack back to Pack territory. Barking Broken jaw organizes the raptors before they set off, jogging at a brisk pace leaving the Alpha pair to discuss what is worrying Silence.
"We have felt hunted three times now after every hunt on the plains Huntress, I don't know whats out their but I feel they are getting more bolder." Silence said in a quiet yet powerful voice. Huntress walked up to Silence consoling her mate by nuzzling his muzzle with hers.
"We don't have to hunt here, we can hunt some where else Silence." Huntress says nudging Silence into following her. Reluctant to leave Silence surveys to long grass around the carcass once more before finally giving in to Huntress's request. They soon sprinted off to join their pack, preparing the extra food in their bellies to be regurgitated for the older and injured members of their pack.

Slinking out of the long grass two yellow eyes watched the leaving raptors, then just behind it another set of glowing yellow eyes appeared. Suddenly multiple glowing eyes appeared, as their owners soon revealed themselves to be Troodon! The smaller but highly venomous predators were distant cousins to the Velociraptors, their pack was nearly twice the size of Silence's and quite deadly. As the orange and green carnivores converged on the carcass, the lead Troodon snarled stomping down on the foot prints of Silence and Huntress asserting itself. If only Silence had known what was about to occur he may have been able to stop the carnage....

Steeltalon couldn't help giving Crusher an astonished look. She'd never received such an offer from another raptor, let alone a young Rex. She opened her jaws to respond, her initial instinct to tell him he didn't have to do something like that...but as she thought about it, it began to seem like a good idea. "I...I don't know what to say," she stammered. "That's very generous of you..."

Crusher smiled, shaking his head. "It helps us both. Who knows what kind of trouble I'd run into if I just let myself wander aimlessly. The obligation of stopping by would keep me reasonably close by. Would probably mean I'd live longer" he growled, chuckling...

Fatalis meanwhile, stood at the edge of the clearing. The sounds of a charging predator reached his ears, and the Raptor couldn't help but smirk. Perhaps there was some fun to be had yet...

Chomper came into the clearing and stopped at the edge. He scented, trying to sense anything else besides the scent of blood. A new scent was reveled to him "Raptor" the gray giganotosaurus growled lowly

The young halfbreed cracked a smile at that, growling with a soft chuckle of her own, "I suppose...alright then. I appreciate this." With a quick glance around, taking the other predators in, she added, "Shall we get going?"

"Yeah. The amount of predators hanging around bothers me" growled Crusher with a nod as he ran his tongue along his bloodstained jaws. Behind him in the distance, the large herbivore carcass had begun attracting all manner of predators. The Postosuchus had long since hobbled away for fear it would become the victim of an angry super predator, and a couple of young Allosaurs had moved onto the scene, the duo looking emaciated and very irritable; perhaps even unstable. their jaws dripped with saliva as they edged towards the carcass, rattling snarls and hisses coming from the two, notably weaker and shallower than the stronger, deeper gurgling growls of healthy adult Allosaurs. Across from them, a lone Utahraptor tore at the kill hungrily, it's battlescarred hide implying a tough life, far from the comforts of a pack. In the trees, a single pair of amber eyes watched silently, the faint shimmer they gave off as the light hit them disturbingly spectral, as, at first glance, there did not seem to be a creature there to give off the glow, the spectator so well hidden amidst the foliage that the rusty red scales that made up the more visible part of his hide's mottling were nowhere to be seen...

Nyx smelt more blood, and he was still hungry. He contemplated just going and getting more from the corythosaurus, but decided against it. Despite being slim, Fish ate just as much as he did, and Djinn had to be hungry. Who knows how long he had been away from his pack. Nyx doubted there would be enough to feed himself. Standing up, the massive carnivore began tracking the sent of blood. Despite being a relatively peaceful T.Rex, he was very serious when it came to hunger. He almost took on a whole different persona. He powered through the trees, smashing a few, pushing them, or flat out trampling them at times. Before he knew it he was out of his territory. He hadn't noticed where his sent marks had ended. Eventually, he reached the end of the trees. He didn't smash through them though. He knew predators would most likely already be there. Looking through the trees, he saw two young Allosaurus, and a Utahraptor. He failed to notice anything else in the area because his vision was limited by the trees, and the smell of blood overpowered his senses to the point where his instincts only allowed him to focus on the dead Diplodocus and the predators around it. He didn't notice the other spectators and the one across from him.

Scar Tooth lifted his large skull out of the body cavity, a large slab of flesh hanging from his maw. The Carnotaur watched as the two fairly thin Allosaur's approached the Diplodocus carcass. Scar Tooth was aware of the dangers that Allosaurs bring having ran into few in his time, most of the confrontations however ended with Scar Tooth came out on top. Growling the Carnotaur swallowed the rest of the flesh in his mouth before he hovered defensively around his part of the carcass not willing to give up the body cavity to the starving Allosaurids. Prepared for anything Scar Tooth continues feeding...

Silence and his pack eventually make their way back to Pack Territory, completely unaware of the Troodon threat that was closing in on their little patch of Isla Sorna. Silence himself was ready for a nap, his body tired from the hunt. However, the quiet leader of this Velociraptor pack would not be so lucky. Entering the cave they consider a den Silence soon organizes his pack to feed the injured and elders of the pack. Broken Jaw and three others were chosen to feed the two elders and three raptors that were injured. As his pack begins to lazily lounge around the den, Silence feels a great sense of pride in which started as just Huntress and himself has now grown into a powerful pack that has made a place on this hellish Island. Laying down on a large rock that allows Silence a complete view of the entire pack, the Alpha lulls himself asleep feeling a sense of normal that will soon change forever...

Darkness' encounter did not go well. His mind was still reeling from the information he had recovered during his conversation with Nocturne. The fact that he had almost died did little to comfort him. And to make matters worse...Eclipse decided to tail him since they left, much to his despair. Though, he should be thankful; she did help get him out of there after Nocturne and his allies turned hostile. The mental damage the older raptor was inducing on the dark raptor, however, more than made up for the physical damage she had spared him from. The two managed to scavenge enough to survive, but a respectable kill was desired by both, though Eclipse was much more vocal about it. She enjoyed watching Darkness suffer...perhaps should could gain sustenance from it? The dark raptor was not beyond such a thought at this point...

Steeltalon took a look around and gave a quick nod, growling, "Me too..." She set off, walking away from the carcass at a quick trot. As she did, she added over her shoulder, "Maybe we'll get lucky and find a place with less going on to rest in..."

"Yeah" agreed Crusher as he followed, mulling over his options regarding Steeltalon. He knew by now she was not the kind to roam and explore much; it was part of why he was doing this. Still, he knew he wouldn't be able to sit around all the time. It would give his mind too much time to reflect. The ideal option, therefore, was to keep his distance. He would stick around enough to be able to help her, but he wouldn't be right there the whole time. That way, he could maintain an active enough lifestyle that he didn't fall into reflection, and still make life easier for the Raptor...

Darkness stepped out of a particularly dense patch of plants, Eclipse not far behind. They could not only smell the remains of a kill, but also the telltale scents of numerous predators who likely already took advantage of it. Scouting out such a large kill was worth the risk, however, even if they could not eat from it until there was very little left. Something was unsettling the dark raptor about their current whereabouts. Although it was difficult to determine what was what in the menagerie of scents they were approaching, something about it seemed painfully familiar to him. A few moments after emerging from the brush, Darkness spotted another of his kind heading away from the site of the kill not far away. Immediately the dark raptor ducked back into the foliage. Large predators were indeed dangerous, but were usually easy to outrun. A hostile pack, he had learned over the years, was not so easily avoided. Eclipse had seemingly disappeared, though Darkness did not put that much effort into finding her. As he watched, the sense of familiarity returned. Had he seen this raptor before? The thought was almost immediately struck from his mind as he noticed a much larger shape moving behind the raptor. The feeling intensified, but the dark raptor was unable to see the larger creature clearly. Though, it was definitely a Rex...could it be...?
