After multiple failed attempts at slaying Gogmazios with two GS's and an LS, I'm going go try and bring him down a Felyne heroics boosted Gravios gigacannon.

Cool stuff, EE. I've been swept up in work [part time work as an instructor of English at a private university] and trying to find a full-time job. Education's aligned with Linguistics, so I haven't really looked into programming. That said, I certainly would like to take it up at some point. If only to enable me to mod games.

IK, I wish I could help. But memory's really foggy regarding the village Gogmazios hunt. For me it went so smoothly it seemed scripted, so I dunno what might be making it problematic for you. In any case, I've dropped Gira a line. His memory's better than mine when it comes to MH stuff, so perhaps he can give you a pointer or two.

I haven't heard anything about a village Gogmazios quest. The only ones I know of are the two in the elder hall and the DLC one.

GOgmazios... Oh, my favorite Final Boss...

Gogmazios is hell to solo. simple as that.

It's almost to the point where I would be certain he's impossible to solo, if there weren't solo videos of it done (even Kinisect, amazingly) Al I can say is, keep on his *** and hit him as much as you can. Dragon weapons and blast blight hit him the hardest, and when he's in his second phase, his defenses drop like a rock. Use the binders and restraints if he gets into the air to drag him back down and land some free hits.

If you are available, I can join you for hunting right now.

Tommorow's a work day for me, but I should be able to get off by around 3 at the latest. I'll see if my 3DS will connect to the internet and if it does, i'd be happy to take on Gog with you.

When you get off is when my classes are in full swing... until around this time each day. How unfortunate.

Watched multiple Gears 4 vids today. One of the things in the game that I find unintentionally hilarious is the execution with the chaingun that one kind of DeeBee drops.

Good luck Doc. Be sure to squeeze in some sight-seeing while you're there, if possible. CA is a fun place.

On an unrelated note, happy Halloween everyone.

Soon as the sun goes down I'm gonna throw on some horror movies and watch all night long.

Happy Halloween~

Started my Mass Effect 2 playthrough recently. I've thus far got Jacob and Miranda's loyalty missions unlocked as well as the missions to recruit Thane and Samara.

You'll have fun with them. Personally, I liked Thane a lot more than most of the other new characters. Mordin was pretty fuckin' great though.

I don't like the fuel thing the Normandy has when in the galaxy map screen. It feels like a restriction on the exploration aspect.

I didn't have so much of an issue with that as I did the mining planets for resources. That was just plain tedious.

I can barely remember it, so, either it didn't feel too restrictive to me, or I didn't give a rats about the exploration aspect, both are equally likely.

The Normandy 2 is such a bitchin' ship. I thought the only thing it was really lacking was an onboard firing range in the hanger or something.

Couldn't access the site the last two days when I tried. Was maintenance going on?
