Largefang heard roaring not too far away. It was an Irritator. Largefang ignored it and proceeded onward...
As Berserk proceeded further and further up the volcano area, he noticed that there was less nests of Pterosaurs. Only that now the Pterosaurs were larger up here. One in particular, Quezolcoatlas was around here. Still Berserk did not bother them....

Sandstorm liked talking about it, it helped him get over it "If I could go back and not see it I would, but seeing him then, he reminds me of someone like riptitde or some other murderer... It hurts to know a freind can turn into that....

Steeltalon nodded sorrowfully. What had happened to the Clawfist she knew? She had asked herself the question before, and always thought she had the answer. Now every possible solution eluded her grasp. The Clawfist she and Sandstorm had known was long gone, and she didn't think he'd be coming back. "Mm, I'm sorry if it's too painful for you to say, but... what exactly happened to make your pack split up?" she asked softly. Her tailtip flicked uncomfortably when she remembered the haunted look in Sandstorm's eyes when he first arrived.

Darkness hung his head from the tree. The excitement had not left him, but he had no way to burn it. I know... Darkness growled finally. He rose from the branch and jumped to the ground. Darkness stared at the other side of the clearing, Steeltalon and Sandstorm to the side of his view. Darkness took an odd stance, and bolted to the other side. When he reached it, he ran back to the tree. He continued this, trying to wear off his extra energy.

he sighed and growled "no I can handle it. After quick tooth died and the eggs broken Softfoot refused to talk with anyone, Shadow leaf tried to help but they ended up fighting, i didnt see it, but I tracked shadow leafs scent, she had escaped un harmed but had waded through a stream, the scent stoped there and i couldnt follow, she could get back. Clawfist then said he was going to attack the raptors in revenge, I said that we shouldnt. That we should try regroup and that attack was suicide, he said he would go without me if i didnt come, and thats what he did..... then a few days later I saw him murdering those two raptors.. then I ran back towards here eventually like I told you..... I still belived we had a chance then Clawfist and Softfoot showed up, they had completely changed, they told me where shadow leaf was, and about their plan, when I tried to follow them and stop them, Clawfist just pushed me too the ground and said, "We have nothing, our lives have reached a brick wall, so we are going to make the best of it.... however you and Shadow leaf have a future, each other...... go rescue her, find that future" Then he dissappeared into the night..... IM only starting to understand what he meant now, but its still a bit of a riddle"

Steeltalon sucked her breath in when Sandstorm finished. She was surprised Clawfist hadn't gone completely insane and tried to kill Sandstorm, but they were best friends. "I'm so sorry," she murmured. "There's really no hope of talking Softfoot and Clawfist out of their attack, is there." She didn't expect there to be. Not after what the two went through.

He took a deep breath and hissed "nope. The Clawfist I knew is dead.... besides some how i dont think its a fair fight.....Clawfist and softfoot are nor to be messed with. thoses raptors are going to all die slowly...... and there is nothing anyone can do about it." He took a deep brethe again and lay his head down.

Darkness had gone back and forth many times. He stopped, catching his breath. In a minute, Darkness was filled with energy again. Damn.... he growled. Darkness turned to the tree and smirked. He hissed at the tree, and charged at it. As he neared it, he launched himself at it, clinging to the side. Darkness clawed and bit the side of the massive tree. He jumped back and screeched at it, not for any real reason. He snarled and jumped onto it, jumping from branch to branch quickly. Darkness neared the edge of the tree and tryed to jump to the second one. He managed to pull onto the second tree's branch, and jumped back over. Darkness jumped to the branch in the front of the tree and looked out, scanning the area again...

Steeltalon watched, confused, as Darkness attacked a tree. "What...the hell are you doing?" she asked, confusion showing easily in her tone.

Darkness jumped down infront of the Root Cave entrance and grinned at Steeltalon. He walked over to a nearby tree and climbed it, laying down on the branch. Darkness was happy. He finally had a mate, and it was the mate of his dreams. Darkness realized how odd he must seem, and coughed uncomfortably. He sighed and stared blankly from the branch.

Steeltalon laid her head on her crossed wrists and closed her eyes, exhausted by the day's events, and also by what had occured that night. She used her tail to move Silver closer to her side and finally mananged to relax.

the following day, when Crusher and his family woke up, they decided to go hunting. Crusher was starving and there wasn't any food at the nest. he led his family to the Game Trail, hoping to find the Mamenchisaur herd again...
