Steeltalon lifted her head and looked at Darkness. "Darkness," she growled softly in reply. Silver ran off to try catching a few dragonflies.

Sandstorm watched Darkness and Steeltlaon amused, then he hoped off his branch and made his way back into the cave. Shadow leaf was still a sleep. He lay his hand on her neck and let sat there still.

Steeltalon sighed. "I don't know what you thought you were doing," she murmured. She tilted her head slightly to one side, studying Darkness' every move.

I was acting stupid...I was very tired...I couldn't think straight... Darkness growled, looking up at the female. I swear, nothing like that will ever happen again.... he growled softly to Steeltalon. He smiled. At least....not around the cave. Darkness growled jokingly.

Steeltalon nodded, smiling faintly. "Uh-huh..." she growled softly, waiting for him to go on. "And?"

I know...It's just different... Darkness growled, picking his head up. ...I've seen other raptors with their mates...and I wonder if we should be like that...but I don't know if you want us to be like that... he growled softly, finally finding his voice.

Steeltalon put her head to one side, thinking. She'd never considered having a mate or family before now. She remained silent for a minute while she turned it over in her mind. "It'd be nice to have a family again," she murmured.

Steeltalon purred softly and laid her head down again, thinking over their conversation. It was all so sudden, but Steeltalon had been alone for too long. Now was the time to think about starting over.

After awhile Shawdo leaf woke up. She smiled and growled "You look happy, im geussing things worked out..." He laughed and growled "Ya they kinda did. Listen you should come out side, I have to explain about the pack what happened, and what the future is. Come on" She grunted and followed him out of the cave. She nodded in greetting to darkness and steltlaon and climbed up the tree sandstorm was in and sat next to him. they pushed togethor and he started to explain the oredeal right from the start....

Darkness looked at Steeltalon and smiled again. He layed his head down, staring blankly ahead. Darkness was happy, but he didn't want to get up and start attacking a tree again. He sighed happily and close his eyes, his head resting on the soft earth...

Switchblade couldn't get comfortable. She twisted and turned in her nest, and finally decided she had to do something. She got up, stretched her legs, and walked over to her favorite tree and laid down on her side in the shade, pondering her next move. The last couple of times she tried to go exploring, things hadn't turned out well. What can I do that won't mess something up? She thought.

Goldfang let out a screech "leave my domain wretches!" he hissed. But the leading Deinonychus barked back "You can't beat 5 of us. This will be our home!" it hissed. And with that the battle was on. Goldfang leapt into the middle of the fray and the Deinonychus circled him. He knew that this was one of their attack patterns. He waited for the first one to come at him. One of the screeched before leaping at Goldfang from behind. Goldfang then using his tail, whipped the enemy in midair. The Deinonychus fell back in pain but was not dead. Another Deinonychus came, this time from the front. Goldfang saw this and gave the raptor a swift side-on kick with his left foot. The blow landed right on its side. A third one came, this time running at Goldfang snapping. Goldfang kicked it in the head, knocking it down. Two of the raptors that were previously injured were back up and along with another, ran at Goldfang, leaping at different sides to bring the lone dinosaur down. With quick acting Goldfang dodged the first one and then leapt up and slashed at the 2nd Deinonychus and cut its neck in midair. The 3rd one was already in the air but came down to late as Goldfang was already landing from his jump and came down right ontop of the Deinonychus and delivered a killing blow to its head using his Sickle Claws. The leader was still uninjured but already 2 members of his pack were dead. The other two raptors injured got back up and came at the front and back of Goldfang. Goldfang saw this and leapt at the last second and the two raptors collided head on. Goldfang landed right on top of both and dug his sickle claws into their necks. The leader was the only one left standing now and charged at Goldfang who sidestepped the lunge attack. Goldfang at this moment was busy finishing off the other two raptors and did not see the leader coming who leapt on him and began slashing away, pinning Goldfang beneath him. Goldfang quickly knocked him off. Goldfang then saw the leader get up and run at him which he counter-attacked with a kick to the head, he then brought his fangs over the leader's neck and bit down hard. This was more than enough to kill. Goldfang stood there recovering, his arms were cut and several huge scars sat across his stomach from the bite and slash marks...

Sandstorm got to the part before clawfist killed the raptors. he stopped and looked over at steeltlaon and darkness wishing they would come and help him out. It was painfull when he told steeltalon about it, but at least she comforted him every now and again, he winced at the amount of pain Shadow leaf must be feeling. She growled, barely a murmer "Is that it?...." He sighed and growled "no... it gets worse and worse...."

Steeltalon looked over at Sandstorm and saw him talking to Shadowleaf. "He'll need some help," she murmured, getting up.
