scarback was watching rawclaw. he would make sure that he would keep a better eye on sharpclaw's hatchling. he gave rawclaw a look that told him:"i'll make sure i see you if you try to sneak out again."

Sandstorm merely looked at the wound and shrugged, he went over to the tree and sat down. he picked some moss and dabbed the blood. It felt good to feel pain again, and anger that too. Clawfist was his best freind. he laughed with him, he talked with him, they helped each other out hell clawfist had even fought fights just becusae he knew sandstorm wasnt strong enough to do it himself. They risked their lives for each other. Now Clawfist was gone and he had to be all smiles about it. he had lied when he said he had gotten over it. there was rage building up in hime every time someone mentioned the name clawfist. He needed to release that rage and pissing off green eye or at least trying to piss him off was a good enough way to go about it. when steeltalon cut him it reminded him of what it felt like to always be in danger to all ways be there with Oviraptors and charcas around them. But he liked thoses times, Because even though they were in danger, Clawfist was there, Shadow leaf was there, Softfoot was there, Darktooth was there, Quick tooth was there. and they were all in the same situation with only each other for comfort, but that was all they needed.
Sandstorm dabbed the wound again and threw away the moss. It would heal quickly enough any way......

Crusher's family returned home earlier that day with a Mamenchisaur juvenile being dragged with them. now, it was nothing more than a pile of bones on the edge of the nest, as Crusher left on a territorial patrol. he had heard Raptor roars, coming from Greeneye's nest. he couldn't make out what they meant from here, but roars were rare among Raptors. only in serious occasions would they roar. and Crusher was in the mood to see Greeneye. he wanted to clarify the reasons behind his attack on him the previous night, just so he knew what he did wrong, in case the first time it didn't sink in...

after about 20 minutes of walking, Crusher finally arrived at Greeneye's nest. he could see Greeneye standing by his family. he walked forward, and growled "Greeneye....i want to speak with you"...

green eye looked at crusher. he was sure crusher had come for a reason. green eye remembered when crusher had threatened to kill him if he made even a small noise in the middle of the night. green eye growled to crusher:"what do you want to speak to me about? you may want to tell me that i cannot be in steeltalon's territory in the middle of the night." green eye still was worried about being in crusher's prescence.

Crusher stared at him blankly, completely dumbfounded. "How could you not know when you went to visit Steeltalon? are you....okay, Greeneye?"

Switchblade crouched in the shade of the tree, rocking slightly on her heels. She was still looking for something fun to do. Then she stood up and thought, I know. I'll chase compys! Maybe I can catch one this time. So she ran a short distance into the woods, then stopped to listen. At first, all was quiet. Then, after a minute, she began to hear tiny scampering feet. The Lili crept through the trees as quietly as possible, and when she thought she was close enough, hid behind a fern. Her head poked through just enough to see four good sized compys picking at the body of a large lizard. Instinctually, her muscled tightened, and she crouched into an attack position. When the moment seemed right she sprang out of the ferns. But her timing was off, and she missed the compy, landing with a loud splat in a mud puddle instead. As she picked herself up, she saw the tail end of the last compy disappear into the forest. "Darnit!" She chirped in frustration. "I still can't do it!"

Diablo swayed his head from side to side, observing everything, he was parranoid about haveing to sit around while his leg healed. He took the time as reflection, over what happened yesterday. I-I don't understand, why did I do that? Crusher, could have handled it if I just ran to him. I just, I just ran, a-and fought. Diablo dragged his head along the rock he had layed on to look at his swollen toes, witch hurt just to move. The battle had brought great heat to the creature, and even his skin was now peeling. Diablo dragged his head back to look out at the forest. And the raptors, why? Why did the help me? I was just a stranger, they didn't even know me, and yet... and yet they rushed in, just to help me out. Diablo was confused about the events, never had any animal done what the raptors did for him. He wanted to thank them. but now, he wa injured, and to vunerable, he had to wait until his leg was healed enough. Diablo let out a long moan of depression and anguish, then laid his head softly back down, and waited.

Crusher decided he'd leave Greeneye for now, because he was obviously still worried about his presence. Crusher turned and walked away, heading for the northern edge of his territory, to start his daily patrol. he made a mental note to spend some extra time in the eastern territory, to check on Diablo and to make sure it was completely clean of predators. he started patrolling the territory in a counter-clockwise movement...

Goldfang, recovered somewhat from his wounds in the battle headed on down the mountain ridge. He was hungry and looking for large prey today. He wanted a challenge of course. Something that would fight him. A herbivore of course, not a carnivore like these Deinonychus's he had previously killed. Up in the mountain ridge, the Leptoceratops were possibly the largest herbivore there was there. But besides that they were smaller than him and stood just over the height of Staurikosaurs who were small. And also Procompsognathus and Compsognathus were too small and were just as annoying as the flies. He knew that the Tenontosaurs were excellant food. They were the largest Hypsolophodontids and were slow and sluggish unlike their smaller and faster relatives and were somewhat like Iguanodontids. The problem with hunting them was they could crush smaller carnivores as well as they were armed with their tails which could hurt. He reconsidered his options, Duck-billed Dinosaurs were cowards and would either hoot loudly or use their tails and feet in defense but otherwise run. Ceratopsians on the other hand. He decided Triceratops would be a good meal and knew where a herd was...

Diablo heard a squeal, it was still partly night, most of the animals have just begun wakeing up, most likely that was another predetor. He crained his head to look for the sound, but it was quite once again. Diablo relaxed once again. Still thinking about the events.

Switchblade stomped back the way she came, stilll covered from head to toe in mud. Halfway there she blurted out, "Stupid compys! Who needs them anyway?" She trudged on, mumbling and squeaking in frustration the whole way, occationally letting out a loud, angry chirp. "How come everyone else can do it but me?!" When she arrived back at the nest, she continued on to the river. Making sure to stay in the calm, shallow water near the shore, the dirty Lili tried to wash the mud off her skin. Most came off, but some dirt stains on her head and back stuck. "Oh, great! I'm still dirty, and Redtooth will know I went off by myself again!" She climbed out of the river, and laid down in a patch of sun to dry off, letting a low moan escape her.

Goldfang continued down towards an area he knew were the grazing grounds for ceratopsians. He saw the Styracosaurs and Chasmosaurs munching the lower shrubs with the Torosaurs and Triceratops close by. All of the herds were eating and drinking and fighting for territory otherwise socializing with their ceratopsian relatives. Here, Goldfang carefully scanned the herd with his Green eyes. He searched for any old and weak, the young were too easy prey. He noticed two male Triceratops in a territroy fight, clashing horns together. Goldfang decided to hang back until the fight was over...

Steeltalon growled in frustration. "You could have alarmed Crusher," she hissed. "That would have put you, Sandstorm and Greeneye's family in danger." Her leg muscles stiffened. She lifted a claw, the same she had used on Sandstorm, and flashed it down Darkness' shoulder. "A warning and a reminder. I won't tolerate this sort of thing." She stalked over to Silver and laid down beside the hatchling.

Darkness winced, but not at the pain of his shoulder, the pain of angering his mate. He sighed, wanting to say he was sorry, but knew she was too angry now. And just after we decided to be nice to eachother... Darkness snarled, laying down on his side. Way to go Darkness... he growled to himself, staring blankly up at the sky.

Sandstorm climbed back up to his branch and lay down again, resting his head on his wrists. He saw darkness get the same treatment as him... Soon he felt sleep coming to take him again and he just watched as the sun sank below the horizan...........

Steeltalon picked Silver up by the back - the poor thing was exhausted - and carried the hatchling to the root cave, feeling tired herself. She watched the sunset through a screen of ferns, enjoying the calming dark of night. She closed her eyes and eventually managed to fall asleep, Silver beside her.

Darkness sighed again, noticing everyone was asleep. He had been trying to sleep, but was unable to. Darkness rolled over and tryed to sleep, but again failed. He got up and went to the bank of the stream. Darkness lapped up the cool water, trying to take as long as he could. When he finished, Darkness walked over to a nearby tree and layed down under it, staring blankly ahead.

By the time night fell, the pack arrived to the cave. RawClaw slowly walked in with his head still hanging low toward the nest. There, he saw his mother and father, both looking worried and very angry of his escape. His mother was the first to speak. "RawClaw, how could you even think of doing such a thing?! You could've been hurt, or killed by one of those predators out there!" She lifted him up and carefully placed him in the nest.

"RawClaw, how could this happen," his father scolded. "Your mother and I were very worried about you. You are going to be under careful watch from now on!"

"I-I wanted to go out and explore though," RawClaw debated. "And I didn't get hurt!" He let out a little growl and glared at both his parents.

"But the point is that you could've gotten hurt," yelled SharpClaw. "Now go to sleep. I don't want to hear another word out of you." She watched as her hatchling grumbled, curled up, and tried to fall asleep.

RazorEdge watched as the hatchling got yelled at by it's mother and father. He let out a growl then yawned and fell asleep.

Diablo decided mabye at least standing on his patrol area would be intimidateing to prey. He manadged to push himself up and go to his usual sector.
