scarback saw that razor edge was looking at something in the bushes near the enterance of the cave. there was clearly something there in the bushes. it was possible it could have been a raptor seeking to join the pack. if that was the case, exile would need to decide if any new raptor should join the pack. blade's coughing fits still hadn't ended. in fact, he was still coughing right now.

RazorEdge hissed as he slowly moved towards the entrance of the cave, Blade coughing distracting him a little but he stiffened his tail as the rustling continued.

scarback saw that razoredge was moving towards the enterance to the cave. it was clear that razor edge wanted to make the unseen creature leave before it came into the cave. scarback kept watch in case the hiding creature wanted a fight. if it did, scarback would help razor edge if the battle wasn't going the way razor edge would want it.

RazorEdge hissed again but this time it was a warning to whatever was in the bushes. The rustling stopped and a Compy hopped out. At first RazorEdge watched but then he saw that the compy had scars all over it's body and head. He growled softly "How did you get these scars Compy?" He waited and waoted but the compy just stared at him. He growled a little and the Compy replied " I have just been watching fish and a baby Crocodile started to drag me under." RazorEdge was shocked at what he heard. He looked at Scarback then back at the Compy. "Will you show me the place where you got attacked? He growled quietly.
"Of course." It chirped. It turned and darted off into the bushes. RazorEdge followed and came across a small lake. He saw nothing but fish and a larger shape moving under the ripples.

scarback was getting tense when he saw the movement in the bushes had stopped. however, he was suprised when he saw what emerged. the thing that had been worrying razor edge was simply a compy. scarback relaxed and returned to his resting spot.

Darkness shifted in his sleep, his head jolting up at the thought of being asleep. He got up from his spot, in pure panic, looking around wildly. Darkness saw Steeltalon, Silver, Switchblade, and the spinosaur all lounging in the area. He had a paniced snarl and bolted a few feet ahead of the nest. Darkness lowered his head and scented the surronding area. He found no strange scents, but continued to smell the ground. Darkness snarled at the jungle, for no reason, and ran back to the nest. He made a few more odd snarls and layed down, only to get up again, wanting to move in fear of falling asleep again. Darkness eyed Steeltalon and Silver intensely and turned toward the jungle. He ran to edge of the clearing and scented the entire tree line. Just....compies...they...they can't...be a problem... Darkness growled, the same odd, quick growls, mostly incomplete thoughts. He ran back to the nest and stood infront of it, continueing his sentry duty without question...

Shadow leaf snickered at Darkness's antics and then hissed softly "Darkness, I think that lizard over there is planning to attack us" She tilted her head gesturing at a small lizard sitting in the grass.

Steeltalon got up and stretched, the stiff joints cracking softly. She went over to the stream and lapped up a few mouthfuls of cool water before turning back to the nest. She'd been scanning for predators while Darkness slept, not resting for anything. She was alert for anything that might threaten the territory or the nest as she tore a strip from the para Sandstorm and Shadowleaf had brought back. She swallowed, her eyes narrowed as she scanned the forest. She ate her fill and returned to her place by the nest, making sure to be comfortable because she'd be here a while.

Darkness whipped his head toward the direction Shadow Leaf had pointed, scenting the air for whatever was there, but remained infront of the nest. He wasn't planning on moving...

"not funny, Shadowleaf," Steeltalon growled softly, though her eyes glittered with amusement. She rested her head on the side of the nest again, keeping an eye on Darkness and Shadowleaf.

Darkness kept watching the jungle, but did something unexpected. He turned to Shadow Leaf and smirked, almost immediatly turning back to keep watch. You got in trouble... he growled under his breath. Darkness immediatly regained a straight face and continued his watch, thinking this wasn't worth delaying his sentry duty....

Shadow leaf just grunted and hoped off her branch. She paced around the trees feeling restless. Eventually she sat down next to a large one. With Darkness and Steeltalon always garuding their nest it was going to be alot more boring than ussual around here. But it meant she and sandstorm would have to do most of the hunting. At least that would give them something to do.

Steeltalon rolled her eyes when she heard Darkness. "Real mature, Darkness," she growled softly. She shifted slightly and closed her eyes, tiredness starting to catch up to her.

Rampage woke up to the sight of a pair of bloody feet standing in front of her. following them up, she saw several bloody slashes, and then a bloody pair of jaws. her mate, Crusher. she got up, looking at him worriedly. "are you ok, Crusher? you look a bit....bloody". Crusher grunted in amusement. "of course i am. i took care of those Raptors that attacked the nest. we wont be seeing anymore of them again". Rampage made a sound that sounded somewhere between a sigh and a grunt, and growled "Well, at least you're ok". she nuzzled him, then walked off towards a stream...

Ghost and his family neared the place where Sandstorm had gone to. Ghost gave Bloodfrenzy to Bloodrose. I'll bark twice when it's clear and three times if we need to go back home. Ghost barked to Bloodrose who nodded in response. Ghost set off closer to the area making sure that they knew he was coming he didn't want to surprise them.

Steeltalon heard twigs snapping and lifted her head, her lips curling back to reveal sharp fangs. She stood and barked, "Show yourself!" Her muscles were tensed, ready for any hostile intruders.

Darkness smirked for a few seconds and turned to Steeltalon, making sure everything was ok. He saw that she was in a defensive posture, but he didn't understand why. Darkness turned toward the jungle and barred his teeth, not knowing what the target was, but knew he had to kill it...

Ghost left the tree line and saw the raptor who had spoken to him and he also saw another one who was looking rather wide-eyed and watchful nearby. I am Ghost, a friend of Sandstorm. I came to see him and his mate. Ghost barked. Looking around and seeing the nest.

Darkness, now that he saw the enemy, barred his teeth and hissed. Why was this raptor suddenly here? Darkness walked forward, his arms outstretched, not even giving the raptor a chance to speak. If he didn't know a creature, it was the enemy...

Steeltalon relaxed slightly. Sandstorm did say Ghost would be coming. Steeltalon stood back slightly, keeping a wary eye on Ghost. She barked to Shadowleaf and settled down again.
