Darkness spat at the raptor's response. He looked at Steeltalon, his gaze softening. I killed him BECAUSE of this raptor you call a friend... he snarled, walking toward Fatalis. Don't think I didn't figure it out, Fatalis. You sold Onarus out. He was captured and turned into that MONSTER because of you! You thought no one would figure it out, not the hatchling....Well, FRIEND, I did...and now you'll pay...I won't let you take Steeltalon away from me... Darkness snarled, inches away from the raptor's face.

Steeltalon growled and scooped Ruby and Blackstripe up in her claws, carrying Darktalon and Whitestreak carefully in her jaws, running quickly to the root cave and setting the hatchlings down, screening the entrance with the ferns and settling down on top of the root cave. She was taking no chances.

Silver leapt into a tree, silently watching. She definately knew that Darkness was in no mood to talk.

Fatalis roared "WHAT?! Darkness, tell me WHAT happened to Onarus. the last time i saw him was shortly before i came across the humans who captured me, before giving me this when i finally escaped two weeks later!". he moved his left leg forward and angled himself slightly, revealing a very wide, long slash scar down his his leg, almost going straight down it, the result of a human's weapon hitting him as he leapt on it, killing it for capturing him.

Sandstorm decided to join Shadow leaf in the tree. He wasn't taking any chances. Besides it wasnt his place to intervene. He knew to little about either raptor. He watched intently to see what would happen. There was nothing he could do if they started fighting.

Steeltalon crouched, her eyes widening. This wasn't happening. Not so soon after the humans came. No...this couldn't happen! She tried to block out the argument, but she couldn't ignore her mate.

Silver noticed Steeltalon's distraught expression and shook her head in sympathy. The humans had captured the half-mutant twice...now her mate and her friend were arguing? Steeltalon had every right to be confused and angry.

Sandstorm was looking at every body around in turn. They all looked tense and scared. Steeltalon looked like she was about to lose it. He barked "Steeltalon! Nothing you can do! Just stand back!"

Darkness moved back at the raptor's words. Caged you... he snarled, looking down. Darkness shook his head, this new evidence making his mind conflict with itself again. Onarus was taken....and then you stopped visiting...it couldn't have been a councidence... he snarled, moving back again. Caged you... Darkenss repeated, looking around at the raptors and other creatures around him. He was confused and angry, not wanting to have these many eyes staring at him. Darkness screeched at the nearby raptors, disturbed by them being here. I feel so...crowded...get away! he snarled, slashing at Fatalis. Darkness started backing up, looking around wildly at the creatures around him. He hissed at Redtooth, jumping back and ran into a tree, looking up to see another raptor, Silver. GET AWAY! Darkness screeched, bolting into the jungle as fast as his leg would allow him.

Redtotoh simply stood there, mouth agape, at what Darkness had just done. After reaginign his composure, he growled, "Darkness! Where are you going?!"

Steeltalon leapt from the root cave and bolted after Darkness, cutting him off before he left the clearing. "No way are you going insane again!" she hissed, blocking him.

Silver jumped down from her tree and slid into the root cave, curlibng around the hatchlings protectively. It was her responsibility while Steeltalon and Darkness were talking.

Darkness hissed at Steeltalon. Get out of my way!! he snarled, ramming the female to the ground. Darkness hissed again and ran into the jungle, not knowing where to go, but just to leave...

Fatalis leapt back as Darkness slashed at him. a single drop of blood hit the ground. a fresh, shallow slash wound had gone across Fatalis' face, on the left side, on his lower jaw. He was confused, and a bit angry at the accusations and now the attack. as Darkness ran off, Fatalis started to think outloud. "He thought...he thought i'd kill my best friend...Onarus...dead...he thought that since i wasn't visiting after Onarus was killed that i had been responsible for his capture....when i was captured myself...and kept for two weeks...and Darkness thought....i had done something to his brother"...

Sandstorm hopped off the branch wanting to chase after Darkness, however Shadow leaf grabed his shoulder and stopped him. He stared at her confused and she merely turned her head showing the scar left by Softfoots jaws. Shadow leaf had chased after Softfoot and had gotten attacked, almost killed. He turned looing at where Darkness had been he thought to himself "Ok, first its Steeltalon, then Clawfist and Softfoot. Now this! Why do all of my freinds have to go insane?"

Steeltalon got up and ran after Darkness, pouncing on his back and digging her claws in, causing him to fall to the ground. "You idiot!" she spat. "Where else do you have to go?! Think of the hatchlings, you moron!" She wanted to flay his skin in strips. He was such an idiot!

Darkness rolled onto his back and kicked her off, getting up and staring at Steeltalon with a frightened look. I don't know...I don't know... Darkness snarled, looking at the ground and back at her. Caged him... he snarled, shaking his head. Onarus...Fatalis...Caged him... Darkness growled, making his head sway. He was cut from Steeltalon's claws, but the blood was nothing to him. No... he growled moving over to a tree and climbing it. Darkness jumped to the second branch, but swayed again and fell from the low branch, hitting the ground a few feet below, slightly hidden by the undergrowth. He was awake, but didn't want to move. Not now. Darkness snarled and closed his eyes tightly, not knowing what was going to happen next...

Steeltalon gently pushed her snout under Darkness' body and flipped him onto her shoulders. He wasn't dead, just confused. What he needed right now was to be alone. She eventually made it back and crouched on Darkness' rock, the one that overlooked the stream. She let him get off and murmured, "Moron. You know I care about you. There's nothing to be scared of."

Darkness turned to her, his expresion now more confused then anything. He rubbed his head against hers, seemingly fine, despite his second fall. Darkness sighed and layed on the rock, thinking. Not knowing what even the think about. He sighed and closed his eyes, just wanting this day to end...

Fatalis just watched in confusion. he decided he'd let Darkness be for now. he stood his ground however, not wanting to turn his back to anyone yet, still wondering whether anyone would suddenly turn on him, believing Darkness' misunderstanding to be fact...
