Steeltalon arrived back at the caves in time to hear Darkness' words. "Who's alone?" she asked, tilting her head to one side. "Not berating yourself for always being alone again, are you?"

Redtooth came back with the dead Campto hanging from his jaws. He dropped it and growled, "What'd I miss?"

Steeltalon rolled her eyes in an amused fashion. "Yes Darkness, because that rock is your best friend," she murmured, trying to make a joke.
Silver heard her and snickered. She glanced down at the two adults, fighting the urge to burst out laughing. "Not much," she told Redtooth.

Fatalis watched his sister, and her mate, feeding on his kill....until something more interesting diverted his attention. the eggs were moving. "BlackStorm! HookTooth! you might want to see this!" he barked, watching the eggs rock around. the two Raptors ran up to the eggs and watched. the three eggs rocked from side to side,and finally started to crack. a small Raptor's head, grey in colour, emerged from one of the eggs. the next to hatch was one that contained a black Raptor, a small white spot on it's head. the third one, light green in colour and covered in black stripes, was the third and last. Fatalis moved away, and let his sister and her mate, be with their youngsters. he went over to the Gallimimus corpse, and ate his fill, before ripping a large lump and taking it over to the youngsters. he dropped it into the nest, hissing "Don't you remember what mother did for us when we hatched, BlackStorm?". he then backed away, watching the scene from a distance. he didn't want the youngsters to confuse him for their father. HookTooth and BlackStorm watched their young hatchlings as they nudged the lump of flesh curiously, making little chirps of curiosity before lunging at it and taking bites out of it, realising it was food...

Steeltalon got an idea and smirked. "Aw, lighten up, Darkness!" she purred, nudging him...right into the stream. Steeltalon cracked up quietly. "Live a little!" she purred, laughter easily detectible in her voice.

Steeltalon surfaced again, a fish in her jaws. She swallowed it and growled softly, "Say something?" She licked her teeth and kept her head above the surface, waiting for Darkness' reply.

Steeltalon swam over and playfully dunked Darkness' head under. "Right, right." She snickered and swam off before he could resurface and strike back.

Steeltalon ducked and watched as the fish hit Redtooth's flank. "Crap," she purred, diving under and pulling Darkness under with her. She swam under him and resurfaced a few feet away. She snickered and tilted her head back, keeping one eye on Darkness.
