Sandstorm frowned harder and took another few steps. His legs were dissappearing under the water, it felt really wierd. He ran his claws through the water not sure og what exactly what he was doing.

Redtooth growled, "When you can't the feel the bottom, just pump your arms and legs up and down to stay on the surface and use your tail like a crocodile's to push forward."

Sandstorm gritted his teeth slightly and then walked on into the water. Sudenly his legs stopped walking on it. He paniced and started doing as redtooth had said pumping his arms and legs trying to stay on the surface. Slowly he felt himself sink and his head slowly dissappeared under the water. He held his breath and his feet touched the bottem. he pushed himself backword and stood up his head poping over the water gsaping. He panted and then hissed "Well that didn't work. Any other ideas?"

Redtooth thought for moment. He hissed, "Hmmmm, how about you use your limbs like paddles? Until you can tread water, you can't learn to truly swim though."

He nodded and hissed "Ill work on that for awhile..." Then he pushed hiself back out again, and sank. His head poped back up from the starting point and he tried again determained to stay on the surface.

Darkness laughed again, the laugh, odd and out of place. He smirked at Sandstorm, swimming over to him. Darkness pushed Sandstorm's head under the water, laughing again. Darkness dove underwater and pushed Sandstorm over to the shallows, Sandstorm's head out of the water again. Darkness snickered, moving into the deep end. What are you going to do now, Sandy? Too deep for you? he growled, making the same odd laugh as before. Darkness swam out to the deepest part of the stream and smirked at Sandstorm, waiting.

Sandstorm managed to push his head over the water again, gasping for air. He felt like going over to Darkness and knocking him out. How was he supposed to learn how to swim with Darkness harassing him. He snarled angrily at Darkness and got back to trying to stay on the surface. It was hard enough as it was and now Darkness was being a pain.

Redtooth hissed to Darkness, "Darkness, stop being annoying. We're trying to teach Snadstorm how to swim, and you're not helping."

[TyrannoTitan]

Darkness swam toward Redtooth, smirking. I'm not? he growled, turning back to Sandstorm. Come on Sandy...You can't make a fool of yourself now that everyone's watching... Darkness growled, lightly dunking Sandstorm's snout into the water, swimming away before he could react. Now...don't let me do that and get away with it.... he growled, smirking and swimming idley around in the deep end.

Sandstorm was really pissed off now. He snarled, and forgetting where he was lunged after Darkness. He splashed through the water stopping short of reaching Darkness, he was kicking his limbs and trying to push himself foreward with his tail just wanting to break Darkneess's neck. Then his stomach lurched when he found he couldn't touch the ground below him. He ran out of momentum and sank. As he went down he muttered "Oh crap" But then he sliped under the water. He tried his best to push himself up to the top but he wouldnt stop sinking, and he still couldn't feel the riverbed, Darkness had lured him out in to a much deeper part of the stream. ....

Crap indeed! Darkness barked, diving under the water and swimming toward Sandstorm. He swam under the flailing raptor, pushing up toward the surface, bringing them both above the water. Darkness swam Sandstorm back to the shallows, swimming back as the raptor got off. That didn't work as well as I wanted it to... Darkness growled, swimming around the deep end.

Coughing Sandstorm found his footing and waded out. Muttering curses he pulled himself onto the bank and laid down. He rested his wrists over his snout, embarassed by what had happened. He thought to himself "Thats it. When he comes back onto land. I am going to kill him."

[Pyronychus]

Switchblade dropped her compy and cautiously approached Sandstorm, her mind still somewhat reluctant to go near him and asked, "S-sandstorm, are you okay?" She had to force herself to stay put, knowing she would get scared if she didn't.

Sandstorm was still plotting revenge when he heard a voice. He lifted one hand up to see Switchblade. He smiled and growled "Yeah... Im ok.... just embarassed, and Darkness showing off doesn't help. Its like he assumes everyone can swim."

[Pyronychus]

"I can't swim," chirped Switchblade. "Mostly I don't even go near water unless I'm going to drink it." Then she thought of her ankle. "Well actually, today I did stick my leg in the stream after a compy bit it." She lowered her gaze, still embarrassed about getting bitten. "I was trying to catch it myself, but it got away."

[Doc 42]

Still embarassed he hissed quitely "Compy bit you did it? Next time bite 'em back. Your bigger than them, use your weight. Don't ever let no compy get the better of you."

[Pyronychus]

She nodded, then remembering something, her eyes lit up. "Ooo! Wait a minute, I have to get something." She ran off to where she hed left the compy and picked it up by the neck. She dragged it toward Sandstorm and set it down a couple of feet from him, smiling proudly. "I almost forgot I had this. Steeltalon took me to a clearing surrounded by brambles today and gave me my first hunting lesson. I actually killed this one by myself, with no help at all!" She wanted to emphasize the fact that she did it by herself. "After I show it to Redtooth, I'm going to eat it." She still hadn't eaten anything all day and was getting very hungry.

Sandstorm looked at the corpse and growled "wow, impressive. You killed that yourself? I think Redtooth is going to be very proud. Is that your first kill?"

Redtooth hissed at Darkness, "Darkness, stop it. You're going to kill or traumitize him!" He was about to chastise him more when he saw Switchblade and Sandstorm talking. He decided to see what was going on. He swam over to the bank and growled, "Switchblade, what are you talking about?"

Darkness scoffed at Redtooth, swimming to the bank and walking onto dry land. My fun is never appreciated... he growled, smirking and walking onto the overhanging rock. Darkness yawned and layed down, resting his head on the rock. He closed his eyes, tired from all the swimming, but didn't sleep.
