Crusher made a sub sonic roar to call Hunter to him without anyone else knowing. soon, Hunter arrived. Hunter growled "What's going on?". Crusher snarled "I need you to stay with Rawhide, Blade snd Exile. i've got a plan...". Hunter nodded without hesitation. he knew that when his father was this angry, and he had a plan, it almost never went wrong. if he was planning to find either Scar or Shadow, he would. Crusher growled "If you see Shadow, contact me. make sure it's the same as the one i called you with. it's too deep for Shadow to hear, and would give you a better chance of catching him. im going to find him if it's the last thing i do". With that, Crusher turned around, and headed north east, to find Ripper...
Rampage saw who had caused the disturbance; a young Dilophosaur had wandered into Crusher's territory. it was a very rare thing, so she left it. she growled "i would keep away from this nest, the other one a few hundred feet from here, and the Raptor pack to the north west if i were you. you are free to live here, along with any family you may have, as long as you dont disrupt the raptors' or our lives. and be warned "My mate, Crusher, doesn't take kindly to predators who attack his friends. if you attack the raptors, you can consider yourself along with your family dead". it moved forward and hissed "Who is Crusher?". Rampage was a bit surprised, since she thought that Crusher had already become an island wide legend. she growled "The most dominant predator. A massive Tyrannosaur who changes colour when enraged. ask some of your elders, if you have any. they'll tell you about him". the Dilophosaur nodded. it was originally planning to spray Rampage in the eye and steal the egg, but when she warned him abou Crusher, and welcomed it into the territory, it just couldn't continue with the attack, because of a combination of fear of this mighty Tyrannosaur she told it about, and surprise at the fact that she had actually welcomed it into the territory, rather than killing it. it nodded in thanks, and left, confused, trying to understand how an attack on a larger predator turned into a friendship...
Rampage thought "I bet it wasn't expecting that...well, as long as it behaves itself, it's safe. they should help keep the newly born Bary population at a controllable level". she had done a favour for herself and the rest of the family, as well as their allies. Dilos were known as active, protective and formidable when fully grown. the poison spit as well as their odd jaw design made them very handy against small predators that Raptors and Rexes sometimes had problems with....
Hunter growled "so, Rawhide, Exile and Blade. where next?"
"Ah yes, organised chaos. the sign of a clever but ever-busy mind. To the perpetrator, a carefully woven web of belongings and intrigue, but to the bystander? Madness!"
