The next day, Crusher woke up to see a young Spino in the distance. It was invading his territory. He got up and walked out onto the plain, coming into full view. He roared at the Spinosaur with what could be called an expelling roar, a hource roar echoing for a couple of miles. The Spino turned and looked at him, then ran in the opposite direction. he gave chase, expecting it may not leave his territory completely. He chased it on into the jungle, until he reached a small clearing, on the edge of his territory. It was righ next to the deep river that he had swam in the previous day.
The Spino stopped near the river. He roared at it, since it was still in his territory for a few hundred yards. Behind it, a much larger Spino emurged, standing at full hight behind the youger one. Crusher immediately knew...it was a trap.
He roared at the massive female behind the youngster, demanding that she leaves his territory with her juvenile child. She roared in response, saying "You are not the one to tell me what i must and must not do. My child and I want your territory, and you will not stand in our way. There are 3 other Spino going to kill your child and mate, and after that the Saurophaganax pack in your territory, which has been weakened recently, will be killed. and you...you die..." She stopped in mid sentance as she saw Crusher's eyes change, going from the regular yellow-green to a deep orange, and his teeth seemed to grow, although it was actually his jaw's lips retracting, exposing a bit more of his massive teeth. The female continued: "you...die...NOW!", then stepped forward and roared a booming territorial roar like which had never been heard from a Spino, other than the single most dominant predator on the island, Thrasher, the Spino. this female must have been his mate. Crusher was not sure, but he didn't care. He roared loud enough to match the female Spino's roar, frustrating her.
The 2 titans charged at eachother, the Spino raising her arms as far in front of her as she could, and Crusher lowering his head and preparing to swing upward when he hit his target. The Spino hit Crusher before he could finish his attack, holding his heaad down and biting at his neck. He gathered all the strength he had in his neck, and shook her off.
The female Spino snarled: "Your..slightly stronger than i expected." as she and Crusher circled around eachother. "Better than your mother. I enjoyed killing her. She was alive just 5 days ago. Not anymore though. Soon, your son and mate will join her...and you. I really think i'm going to enjoy killing your son and ma...". she stopped, shocked by the changes that were showing in the face and body of the T. Rex in front of her. His eyes were now a glowing fiery red, his skin had become more vibrant, and a pure, blood red spot appearing in the muscle area in his upper jaw, being striped downwards with semi triangular black lines. His teeth were now fully bared, looking double the size they usually look.
He roared, loud enough to dwarf te female's, his roar echoing for miles in every direction, making the dinosaurs near the human buildings to the west shudder. The Raptors may also have heard it. The Sauro pack would be alarmed by the roar, and would be more alert, which would prepare them for the attack from the other 3 Spinos, if the Spinos change course. Rampage and Hunter would hear it, and would most likely pay alot of attention to sounds, which would help them when the Spinos moved into position . Crusher was amazed by his roar, thinking that he may have blown his head off if he roared any louder than that. He kept his emotion hidden, since his booming roar had seemingly unnerved the Spino a bit, and made the juvenile jump in the river behind his mother.
The Spino charged again, enraged that her roar was crushed by a T. Rex. Crusher was ready this time. As the Spino charged, Crusher moved to the right, and opened his jaw as the Spino ran past. He locked them on her right arm and waited for her to tear it off with her momentum. As it was torn out of it's socket, the female roared with pain. She turned around and tried to fight, but Crusher's rage fuelled focus outdid her, dodging every swing she made. The fact that her snout was so thin made it even more difficult to hit him. Crusher pounded her after she tried to hit him from above slamming his head sideways into hers, then hitting it from above. She was so dizzy it looked like she was going to fall over. He locked his jaws on the spine and tore it off. She roared in pain again and swung her remaining arm, hitting Crusher on the left side of his face, adding another scar to his already impressive collection. he bit the arm and tore it off, leavig only a bloody stump in it's place. He then bit onto her neck, and dragged her to the water, and broke her neck, using the tremendous power in his jaws to Crush the neck bones to pieces. He left her corpse on the river bank.
The young juvenile reappeared from the river and saw his dead mother, then looked at Crusher in pure fear. Crusher growled: "if you leave now, i will not harm you. But, if i see you in my territory again, i will kill you.". The Spino nodded and ran north. Crusher now headed toward his family, to make sure he was there when they needed him. his rage was persistent. Thrasher the Spino, the single most dominant predator on the island, had killed his father many years ago. now that he tried to kill his family, Crusher would not rest until Thrasher was dead. His colouring would remain for several hours before he returned to normal. "All the better to scare the Spinos with..." Thought Crusher as he charged back to the nest...
