Darkness was nearing the stone hollow, talking to himself the whole way. She can't be hurt...no...they'll die if she is... he snarled, bolting toward the hollow.

Silver rammed into Raven, knocking him off balance. "Don't do this!" she cried.

Raven hissed and struggled. "Get off of me!"

"You don't have to be this way, Raven!"

"I must!" Raven shoved Silver off of him roughly. "Let me kill her!"

"NO!" Silver screamed.

RawClaw put the hatchling down and was about to speak to Silver, but she already dashed off. The raptor's eyes widened in fear. He tried to follow her, but she was too fast. "Silver," he screeched worriedly...

Sandstorm walked quickly over to Rawclaw and growled "Brother! There might be more of them, we don't know. So you need to stay here and help us garud Steeltalons hatchlings, and Switchblade too."

OoC: Time to introduce Goldfang's half-brother Grimfang. He is very much like Goldfang but has some differences. R.I.P. Goldfang....

Grimfang had been recovering from the horrid site of his half-brother, Goldfang. Goldfang and Grimfang had known each other for a long time. After what happened with Reaper, the two had met up sometime in the forest. He had escaped Reaper and suprisingly the Mutant Gene had no effect on him. He had become immune to it. The two had gone their separate ways. Grimfang knew he was related to Fatalis as his cousin. But he did not know where he lived. He only heard about him through Goldfang at one point. He was glad that their father Reaper was dead and the Ultra Raptors eradicated. But now that his half-brother was dead felt like something had smashed him in the face really hard. Alongside Goldfang's corpse was Norsefang. She too was dead. The black raptor had left their remains. Grimfang knew Goldfang's death was an unfair one. And that actions had to be taken. Goldfang had to be avenged. Grimfang lived out in the forest and had always known it. It was his home, he knew all the shortcuts and escape routes if a predator chased him. He had gone to find Goldfang after finding that he did not come back for a visit. He had found his scent and saw the bloody site. Now it was his duty to find the killer...

Switchblade crouched wide eyed among the raptor hatchlings. She had no idea what was going on. Everyone was running around, there was fighting close by, and Redtooth looked almost as confused as she was. All she could do was keep her head low and hope no one got hurt.

Sandstorm walked slowly up to the hatchlings, he crouched down and hissed softly "Don't worry, your mother is on her way back." He turned to switchblade and growled "They will be back soon dont worry."

Steeltalon wathced, bewildered, as the argument raged on. It looked like niether was winning, but a horrified look began to appear on Raven's face, until...

"What have I done?!" the gray male gasped. "I...I'm sorry, Silver..." Raven sank to the ground, shaking.

"Don't apologise to me," Silver hissed. "Apologise to her." She gestured towards Steeltalon.

Steeltalon glared at Raven. "What you did was unforgivable," she spat, turning away. Her voice was raspy, due to the wounds on her throat and chest.

"Please," Raven pleaded. "Give me a chance to prove to you that I am loyal."

"Loyal to Riptide!" snarled Steeltalon.

"I will follow the laws you have laid down for me," murmured Raven. "No going anywhere without you or Darkness with me. No eating from kills or going hunting without permission. No hunting alone."

Silver gently nudged Steeltalon's shoulder. "Please," she murmured. "Give him another chance."

Steeltalon snarled, but she couldn't say no to Silver. "Fine," she growled. "When we return, I will announce what has happpened." She turned and bounded up a series of stone ledges, soon after reaching the lip of the hollow. Silver and Raven duplicated her movements and settled down to rest and recover.

Shadow leaf was starting to get worried. They should have been back by now. She walked into the center of the clearing and gave out three loud barks. Calling for them.

Steeltalon heard the barks and replied with a single bark, telling of their position and that everyone was alright.

Silver stood shakily and staggered slightly, not sure what to think anymore.

Shadow leaf sighed with releif and sat down in the grass. She was in shock. What had happened? Who had attacked them? At least nobody was hurt.
But what if there were others? Mabe they were being watched now? She looked about the clearing, not quite sure what to do.

Darkness heard the barks from both, not knowing what to do. I should see if she really is ok....or should I head back.... he growled, his head whipping back and forth. Darkness snarled in frustration, jumping into a tree. He layed down on the branch, hopeing to see the others on their way back to the clearing...

Softfoot smiled faintly and hissed "Well look at it this way, they won't be troubling you anytime soon will they?" She looked back into the jungle thinking about how long she would stay here. When Fatalis left, she would leave. He probley would leave when Blackstorms hatchlings were old enough. She laughed slightly and growled "A few months ago I thought I had lost all my freinds. Looks like I have found even more, and even got a few old ones back...."

Steeltalon swayed on her feet, staggering as she fought to stay upright. Silver darted forward to support her foster mother as Steeltalon started the unsteady walk home. Raven followed close behind, his head lowered submissively. He wasn't taking any chances. If he was not welcome, he would not stay.

RawClaw was carefully watching over the hatchlings. He couldn't help but worry about Silver and her foster mother, Steeltalon. Were they alright? I will get that brother of hers, he thought angrily and let out a low growl.

BlackStorm nodded. she hissed "Fate has a strange way of leading your life. one moment, you think you're going to die, and the next, you're better than you have ever been in your life. you're welcome to visit at any time. i'm doubtful that we'll be taking the lives of loners. we'll probably learn a few of Fatalis' lessons, but use them in pack life, with our children, their mates, their children, and outside Raptors"...

Darkness paced on the branch, looking both ways for his mate and Silver. Maybe they are back at the nest... he growled to himself, standing still on the branch. ....Or maybe they were attacked by more mutants... Darkness snarled, leaping off and branch and running toward the stone hollow.
